Man, you dont get it, Berlin hasnt preserved anything, Berlin is an attempt to build a city in a forest!!!! Theres no preservation, it just dominates. The entire city is a forest full of wildlife with some buildings sticking out of it. Its glorious! The birds are incredible, even Herons in the city centre. Wild boar. Racoons (not native to Germany but imported by the NAZIs).The crows are cleverer than most residents.

Nice to hear that :) but you really missed Frankfurt in your Germany Trip. It is the only city in Germany with a real "big city" Skyline and also the only city which has skyscrapers. Frankfurt is very different from the other german cities. Very recommended :)

I’ve always wanted to go to Germany. It’s such a beautiful country, with historical history behind it with good and bad. I’m from a biracial family. My mom’s side of the family are from Germany & Austria. I’m not close to my German culture, but I would like to learn more about where my German ancestors came from. I feel that my ancestors are calling me to Germany, to get more connected with the culture. My great grandparents are buried in Berlin, and I am planning to pay my respects to them. I’m the second generation United States citizen in my mom’s family, while my maternal grandparents were born in Germany and Austria. Seeing this video of Germany, makes me feel excited knowing that one day I will step into a country where my grandparents came from…. I would be walking on the sidewalk where my ancestors walked before me. I hope to go there soon in a few years with my own children, and husband. ❤
