  • In this Photoshop tutorial, we'll see how to create an awesome realistic falling snow using few simple techniques in Adobe Photoshop 22, the main idea for this tutorial is to know how to create the snow flakes on a transparent background and use it as a PNG format, without having to use any blending modes to apply it on other images. Enjoy!

    I watched and it works great. I would add a few steps to the whole process (that's what I did with my image). I separated the subject from the background and placed a few layers of the snow behind the subject, as in reality the snow appears in front and behind the subject. I also played around with opacity of some of the snow layers and it also did wonders.

    Excellent. I had problems with the previous version failing when executing the wave filter after the lens blur. File size was getting very big so I hope the changes here will rectify that issue. Thank you for this update.

    Just tried this works great! For some reason I have way too much snow though😂 which Parameter would I have to change to get less snow? Less noise from the start?

    Fantastic tutorial! What theme are you using for Windows? I really like the black/dark look. Not photoshop, but the OS. Cheers

      Thanks man, I'm not using any custom them, I'm only using the default dark theme that come with Windows os.

    I'm having an issue where Filter Gallery opens a blank window. Is there something I'm supposed to download first?

    When i'm at the filter/distort the option of distort is greyed out and i can't do this step. :( What have i done wrong?

    • @sEiLoMZ
      @sEiLoMZ ปีที่แล้ว

      Same thing here… as soon as I transform the layer „snow 2“ the distort->wave option is not available anymore. Any ideas why this happens?

    • @sEiLoMZ
      @sEiLoMZ ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Found the issue on my site … using a German ps version and waves translates to „Wellen“ but also to „Schwingungen“ which is the correct option
