Canadian Pacific Diesel-Electics, the three that were pulled by CP 2816 Empress steam locomotive, now re-arranged in lead to perhaps help protect the CP 2816 Empress. Very rare and nice locomotive. Kudos to all the passionate, talented, skilled people at CP involved in restoring the Empress, upkeep, and her train tour in Can, US, & Mexico. A memoral event of living history. Good to learn CP 2816 Empress steam locomotive and train is returning safely. Nice catch video to also see the various vocation rail cars. Thanks for sharing. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 PS- sad to learn of the avoidable tragedy loss of life in Mexico.😢😢😢 Supposedly, one or more people involved were focusing on Selfies and not paying attention to were they were while train approached. It's besides many people standing inside and near tracks when train was moving. 😢
On a happier note, the business car 'Assiniboine' was the car that I most saw on the trains that I worked on that ran over the Lakehead Division. It was the General Manager's car and you would very often see it heading to Montreal or Toronto with him and other company officials onboard. It was kept in the CP coach yard in Winnipeg. Still a fine-looking car!
As a Mexican, I apologize for the reckless and stupid actions that the people did with the locomotive, a shame that because of 3 idiots, our civilization is stained, It's a shame, but it's good that the locomotive is now in a good place, thank you for everything and sorry anyway!

yeah but did you hear what went down in Mexico? a woman got hit, an F Unit got vandalized, massive crowds blocking the line, another woman got her phone knocked out of her hands by the same part that killed the first woman, a guy climbed on the train, another woman fell down a ditch while photographing it, and to top it all off some idiot tried derailing her! she had to be towed out of Mexico by CP 7011 and the 2 F Units. they had to literally cover her light and number to prevent it from getting robbed, too. im just saying that I’m glad she’s home and safe.

I am an avid railfan who used to work at cn ,a lot of people on here are making callous and despicable comments on here about a young mother who took her family out for what was supposed to be a day of fun that because of one careless moment ended in tragedy ,you should be ashamed of yourselves

As a Mexican American, we are deeply sorry for what happened to 2816. Our country never listens to rail safety and just party all the time.

2816 has finally escaped from Mexico, I know that after this incident there won’t be any special trips to Mexico anytime soon

Actually they did. In fact, I got a copy of the detailed schedules, they even add how many time they were going to wait on each inspection point.
