    Potential difference causes flow of electricity in any circuit.
    Electrons are the charged particles. ... Only the charged particles can attract or repel electrons and those that are not charged can only give force on them. Thus the flow of electrons can generate electricity and electrons that moves on a wire continuously gives rise to electric current.

    the potential energy doesn't have any relationship with the voltage.

    • @fleurvoortman4893
      @fleurvoortman4893 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Actually the potential energy is the electric potential multiplied by Q (Joules/Coulomb *Coulomb=Joules) and the electric potential difference is the voltage in volts, so they are not entirely unrelated :)

      It is actually moving from a region of low potential to high potential. So positively charged terminal is at high potential and vice versa. If we take the case of positive charge, then it moves from low to high potential i.e., from negative to positive and vice versa.
