Micah Richards used Man City's name and used the clubs generosity to get a cushy job at sky and then he turns around and starts bashing City. A completely shameless human being
@@thegoldencache Man City was at best a mid table club when he joined. City's 'generosity' is usually called wages. City was irrelevant at the time the likes of Micah arrived. City used players and their names to get where they are now. A completely shameless club.
Micheal Oliver was so quick to send off Trossard but last season when Kovacic lunges in on Odegaard and Rice, he doesn’t send him off bc he doesn’t want to “overreact” and “ruin the game” according to Howard Webb. That’s my biggest issue
@@aaronstanley4202 the obly thing about this is that he didn’t even take a second to look at trossard playing the ball 2 secs after the whistle. Seems a bit jumpy like he said, which is why people are upset bc where’s the consistency.
@@aaronstanley4202a clearance 0,84 of a second after whistle blows, oh my, what horrible play, such cheating, so dirty. Yet harland can tiny tackle & headbutt players & escape the whole match without a yellow?
The whole narrative that Arsenal are the English Atleti is so overplayed. Arsenal were bopping the ball around that first half without their two top creative midfielders in Odegaard and Merino. They only really play like that when they have to, whether it be they’re down to 10 men, or like against Spurs, where it just makes the most sense.
Exactly, anyone who says that is either a troll or didn't watch ball. They scored more than anyone bar man city last year, one 0-0 dies not make you "prime Jose or Diego". They got slapped the year before as kids, they learn so don't do the same & people still complain, it's whinging babies. Arsenal still scored a few goals against lvpl, man u, Chelsea, Munich... slapped the small teams. Or if the 38 games how many times did they not score at all or just won 1-0, what, 10? & even ones where they didn't score like against villa, both times, they were the attacking team
Wenger was mocked for not adapting & always losing to the big teams when he didn't have the best players anymore to compete, everyone laughed, most arsenal fans upset in due because be didn't learn. Now they are aware & kids complaining. As lyle said, we'll which is it
The thing is though: on Sunday Arsenal won against City while they were 11 vs 11. Arsenal won 2:1 and didn’t play defensively. And City looked bad when they conceded both goals. City was the better team for the first 15 to 20 minutes but after that they were equal. And City had no answer to win against a 10 men Arsenal in their own stadium. THAT’S WHY Haaland and Bernardo Silva made those comments. Because now they know Arsenal is not the little pushover anymore. City can feel it, Arsenal can feel it and I can feel it too. Can’t wait for the clash at the Emirates!

Arteta may have retired as Arsenal's captain, but his time at City under Pep was crucial for his development as a coach. Learning from one of the best in the world is invaluable. His tactics and philosophy have clearly been influenced by his experience there
@@mezertt Sure, Wenger was an important influence on Arteta, but let's be real-his time under Pep took him to another level tactically. Learning from one of the greatest modern managers, in a system that’s all about precision and innovation, had a massive impact on his coaching style. Arteta’s tactical sharpness clearly reflects what he absorbed from Pep at City.
@@BManip I wouldn’t say all the way though. In terms of defence pep has his way and my manager clearly has his one after watching the game you can clearly tell that arteta is more defensive oriented. Our big hitters is our defence and mid because we have size, control, height and speed (Timber, Cali, Saliba, White, Rice, Partey) and our wingers ALWAYS track back on defence. With pep his big hitters are more on the attacking oriented side so it’s different. Same philosophy in terms of style (control the ball, play on the wings) which let’s not act surprised about considering they’re both Spanish are we really surprised? Yeah Pep helped but Artetas been doing his own thing and has his own way trust me. I know. It’s my team 😂
I think City don’t like losing control over games and especially not against teams that are comparable to them. Let me explain: City are a fantastic possession based team. They’ve got some vulnerabilities but you need a very good team to be able to exploit it. Arsenal seem to know how, which is rare. They’re used to teams not fighting for possession with them. What they’re not used to is have a team that also has the CAPACITY to dominate games like they do, but that also can dig in and make the game scrappy, high paced and physical. So it’s obviously frustrating when their usual tactics don’t work nearly as well and they then get forced out of their comfort zone. I think there’s some element inside the City camp that says: “Nobody should be able do that to us, but Arsenal did and it hurts.” That’s where the anger comes in. They are getting challenged by a team that doesn’t just open up and play rock and roll football. They play against a high quality team that is pragmatic, calculated and I think to some degree, has City all figured out. I could be wrong but I think this is why they are frustrated. Personally, I like the rivalry to be this way. They can hate us for all I care. The more those City players are in their feelings about us, the easier it’ll be to exploit them. Liverpools “rivalry” with City was too respectful. It felt fake. But I feel when Arsenal and City line up, these teams really don’t like each other for any reason.
Underrated comment- completely agree. I was slightly annoyed because I felt City respected Liverpool and they didn't respect us but I could also see why so I was very happy that we let them have it in the first half. I think after the anger has subsided and if we bring that same first half energy for 90 minutes 11v11 at the Emirates, they will have no choice but to respect us but more importantly, we have to win the game and the title for it to become a proper rivalry unlike the love-in at Citypool. Also, the difference between us and Liverpool is that we were until recently a banter club and Jover and Mikel's previous connection to City not to mention the ex City players. I would have been far more confident if Odegaard and Merino had not got injured.
@@juneflowers5056 I don't get where this idea that City vs Liverpool was a lovey-dovey rivalry comes from... It's really not that way, just players behave themselves much more in the modern games - you see it with most big derbies nowadays, it's way less intense than in the past, but City v Arsenal is just an outlier, and it's only happened after the game last week, out of blue really. City vs Liverpool just had Pep and Klopp really respecting each other, but there was still a massive rivalry between the players. I remember Salah and Bernardo, Fabinho and Rodri, all of Trent's comments etc. there was loads of rivalry but they've just adapted to modern football behavioural standards. Again, the City v Arsenal game last week is a particularly passionate and fierce outlier; I think Haaland was just really rattled up for whatever reason and his behaviour was condemnable and that just sparked a nasty atmosphere.
@sfb4144 Fair enough, I suppose I have watched too many clipped up videos of Pep and players laughing and joking with Klopp and players. I am not saying a rivalry wasn't there, just that it seemed quite friendly for a rivalry. Personally, I prefer what you had with Liverpool because it was nice to see - that's the kind of rivalry I would have liked because I am not a big fan of it getting out of hand and players going for each other. I thought Haaland was very disrespectful, dish it out to players, but it completely lacked class going for the manager.
@@juneflowers5056 nah, your opinion is valid, I just incline to disagree on the specifics... You're spot-on that it seems quite friendly for a rivalry, but in my opinion that's not inherent to the rivalry, but rather to the fact that modern football doesn't have the battles of Roy Keane and Vieira, or players as violent as Vidic/Terry/Joey Barton/Martin Skrtel/japp stam/Ibrahimovic/rooney etc. And I completely agree on the fact that less physically-intense rivalries are much better by avoiding toxicity and them getting out of hand. Having a competitive spirit and a sense of rivalry shows passion, commitment, emotion and it's also just simply entertaining, but it can easily escalate and get out of hand which is what's happened with city and arsenal now
@sfb4144 Agreed - hopefully, it won't boil over at the reverse fixture. If City win, you will lil bro us (although we may be past that now, it will be a repeat of "stay humble") but if Arsenal win, well, I can see it getting out of hand. Obviously, I would like a win without the aggro. Could go any way so we'll see. Nice to speak to a City fan who is humble, instead of those arrogant accounts on Twitter 🤝 - stay humble, man 🙃
Because they aren't able to bully Arsenal anymore. Just like boxing. If AJ went into the rematch against Ruiz with the same gung ho, toe to toe, method, the result would have been the same as the first fight. Arsenal would leak 4/5 goals and get a pat on the back for losing while playing nice Arteta ball. Now imagine Ruiz getting mad and calling AJ a coward for not using the same tactics as the first fight when the head to head result changed. Rivals, bar Liverpool, also hate the fact that Arsenal are challenging and aren't City's whipping boys anymore. This is why you'll ALWAYS see them jumping in to defend, side with and celebrate the last 2 times City beat Arsenal to the title. Bar Liverpool, you would think the rest had all beaten this current Pep City team to a title. They also hate how Arsenal not being able to beat a top 6 club has ended, with none of them taking a W against Arsenal in over a year. Utd fans will probably stop routing for City when they see their league title record under threat. Don't say it's impossible. City winning the treble seemed impossible and then it happened. You've seen how quickly the 12 years flown by since Fergie last won UTD the league, just like Arsenal have seen the last 20 years fly by. 12 years is how much time City need to reach 18 league titles and it WILL happen if they're allowed to continue dominating the league. Will you still be routing for them when they have 18 or 19 league titles?

Here's where this analysis is muddled up: Citeh's hate for Arsenal comes from the fact that Arsenal hierarchy were one of the first to raise suspicions of Man City's financial fair play misconduct. This is common knowledge. City in truth have always wanted to be a big club. Arsenal is an institution in English Football. They hated being called out by one of the very clubs they wanted to be. So internally they keep driving the narrative that their success over the last 10 years eclipses Arsenal's entire history. They're a fragile bunch City and their 5 fans.

I'm an Arsenal fan and I want them to neat Man City to the league so badly after Haaland's bullshit. Rodri's injury is definitely good for us. But I can't celebrate it. He's just a guy at the end of the day, and I 100% agree with him that players are being overworked. It feels like there's something to watch basically every 3 days and while that's great as a spectator, im already starting to worry if it's not too much, and the season just started. You talk about a kid like Yamal but dont forget the likes of Bellingham that have so much drive and desire to the point they might drive themselves into a permanent injury. Because they're whingers. Vvd said the same about man u. So what, yes 1 is far more entertaining for fans, but if you're the much better team is your job to break them down. As he said, live that people compatible either way. Wenger never used to change tactics because he played pretty ball, & they got slapped every big game because arsenal kept selling best players & were no longer top dogs, so couldn't do that like they did before. Now they've learnt & go: let's not be stupid against big teams & a few weak iberian blokes are crumb like babies, it's not their issue to play how you like, they're your opponents, they're they're too best you
So, Arsenal didn't park the bus last year either? They know they'll get outplayed if they try to play a high line, so it's smart for them to go defensive against the English champions. But remember when Conte's and Mourinho's teams were slammed by the media for parking the bus? Despite the criticism, they still won trophies. Arsenal, on the other hand, are parking the bus without winning anything. It’s only fair they get called out, just like Conte and Mourinho did. The difference is, one set of managers won trophies, while the other is still trying.

With or without Rodri, Madrid are still the heavy favorites to win a competition that heavily relies on your superstar when all they have is superstars in each position. I just hope Rodri will be healthy enough to start for Madrid next year. You know? Just to complete the 4 best players in the world into one team. Although last time we did that, Only one UCL and one league title.
City respect us already. We took 4 points of them last season. We had more players than them on EPL Team of the Season. That speaks volumes. They are actually upset that we are up there with them now
You’re missing a major point. Arsenal weren’t playing low block, they had city on the ropes and looked like they were going to score more. They did what city players last year asked them to. Then the ref got involved
I think the reason people are on to Arsenal and not other people who park the bus because Arteta developed into this. He started at Arsenal with free flowing footy, then continued that into 22/23. They came up short playing like that, so the next year he made his defense a little bit better. This year he' reached a new level of defensive intensity and its like every big game Arsenal has, Mikel brings out the low block. Im not saying there is a problem with it, I just think the only reason they catch slack for it is because of how quickly Mikel developed into this.
We played 3 tough away games in 7 days. If these same fixtures were spread out through the season, we would have different narrative. How many times Arsenal were told they can’t play any other way that’s why they always used to get battered away from home against big teams.
Arteta is not going to take his cues on how to play from you though. He doesn’t have to set his team up to impress people on social media. It’s his team. Arsenal can play in different kinds of ways and evolve as the game requires. They evolved as the City game required. They evolved as the Brighton game required. I don’t know why this is so difficult for people to understand.
@@TheGoonette I dont disagree with you brother. If defense is your best attribute why not play to your strengths. I was trying to clarify maybe why people have that opinion on them.

Don't think I've ever heard a more ridiculous premise that's being framed around arsenal right now. That they owe it to man city/football to play a certain way 😂 what a joke
We have never seen this side of mancity. Pep's teams are usually cool and composed. But recently, when they play Arsenal, we saw a different thing. They are rattled by this arsenal team and Arsenal are inside their heads!!! They feel like Arsenal are a harder team to beat than any and when they fail to beat a team, they take it as a loss coz of the calibre of their team
Yall said it best city seen arsenal trying to replicate the style and haven’t been successful. So city players will have more of a chip on their shoulder and show arsenal players there’s levels to it.
On the players playing to much, this is really a player, national team and club problem and not a "football" problem. This affects 1% of professional footballers, players like Rodri, Saka, Salah etc. No one in Southampton or Wolverhampton is playing that many games, it's the elite of the elite and it comes down to clubs and national teams overplaying them. The solution therefore are with the clubs, national teams and players themselves, demand you be rested more, clubs take better care of your star players and rest them same goes for national teams. I'm not saying Rodri is wrong, I'm just saying the situation mostly apply to him and a few other players across the globe and that it's not a "footballing" problem, it's a problem that comes with being elite and competing for every title there is on all fronts at the same time. Clubs want to play as many games as possible, because it means they are doing good, getting far into all the cups and tournament but they need to protect their assets aka the players more.
As a person that has had 2 acl tears...it isn't wear n tear. It's just an uptick in probability of injury the more you play. If an acl injury more likely happens once every 200 games, and you only play 100 games, there is still a chance you tear an acl. The teams that c9mplain about too many games....Rotate! CITY HAVE 2 FIRST 11s. Miss me with that.
@shivaanmcfc7512 yeah the person that is back up to the starter would walk onto most of the teams between 20 and 4th place. In 2019, Bravo, Otamendi, zinchenko, Laporte, stones, jesus, foden, Palmer, bernardo Silva, sterling. Ridiculous arguments about "Arsenal spent a lot in the last 2 seasons" are bull
Honestly I do think city sense we are right behind them. We should have won that match if it wasn’t for a lucky deflection to Stones ffs. We switched off from corner and you can’t do that vs city. Haaland got his viral moment back from that Saliba shoulder challenge last year. The irony is that was a complete foul on Saliba but no one is saying it. Trossard yellow nothing for city. The ref was a disgrace and shouldn’t officiate any Arsenal games
City won the league last season without beating any of the top 6 teams. But they got their wins against the other 13. So if Liverpool and Arsenal want to win, they have to beat them as well as the other teams because City will do their best to win their matches against the rest of the league. Its an absolute requirement for them to win the league
The rivalry is brewing because of the opposite. Arteta has evolved into an antithesis of Pep ball. Pep set the bar high and to surpass that you need to evolve and city players can sense it. They know they are the best team in the world and they, after taking the lead, had to come from behind on their own turf, against 10 men but fortune. They know they huffed and puffed and they realized the season will be long and harder than anticipated. City have started the season like arsenal of 2 seasons ago...Full throttle in terms of energy..arsenal will grow into attack as usual.
WHY DO Y'ALL KEEP SAYING THIS "ARSENAL FANS WOULD TAKE A DRAW" SHYTE????? UNNACCEPTABLE. ANYONE TRYNA TAKE A DRAW AT THIS STAGE OF ARSENAL'S DEVELOPMENT NEEDS TO GO BACK TO 2022.
I disagree with the point that arsenal haven't got over the hump the knocked city out of the fa cup. I think it's more that they are seeing Arsenal as a threat and recency bias from the city players
City have now been used to walking allover every team in the Country, the haven't been challenged for the League title and haven't been pushed to the Limit by any Team in Games for a While but now Arsenal during that Game got them all rattled, the Formula wasn't working especially against 10men, who they usually destroyed and it was too much mentally
It’s obvious you two don’t really have any bias in favour of either team and yet all the Arsenal fans in the comments sound so offended by everything you’ve said 😭
The difference in attitudes to Liverpool compared to Arsenal by City players stems from the fact that Liverpool would not change the way they play just because they visit at the Etihad. They would lose a player and get destroyed by 5, but they would still play their game trying to make City’s life a nightmare. While Arsenal dominates other teams but then park the bus just to get a result against City. Which comes off as cowardly.

Until Arsenal make a statement and win something huge, it'll continue to be like that, and their fans don't help their case by acting all high and mighty. You can clearly see why City don't respect Arsenal like that, but I bet you they respect Liverpool, because Liverpool managed to push them to the final day, TWICE, and get to within a point, getting close to a 100 points both times. They managed to win a Premier League on top of City's head, only the second loss for Pep since he came to England. They managed to win the Champions League, and even knock City out of it the year prior. What have Arsenal done? Compared to that, nothing. In Europe, they're even more of a laughing stock, because the constantly talk big and then come up short. To be fair to Arsenal, because their fans are so touchy, I respect how they came out in the game against City in the weekend. Last year's match between the two at the Etihad was boring and cowardly from Arsenal from my perspective, but I thought they were brave and had the upper hand against City on Sunday, and I'm 99% sure they would've won had it stayed 11v11.
It’s the little bro syndrome. Arteta was their assistant manager, They sold Sonny and Jesus to “help” them, they always whooped them at the emirates or the Etihad. Now lil bro has grown a beard. He’s got big shoulders, doesn’t use Jesus and Zinny as much and is punching back. They slapped you up in the community shield and at the emirates(just winning) and you haven’t beat them in 4 attempts. All of that and they have pushed you for two years now. Suddenly you get aware of their shadow behind you and you freak out. That’s what Rodri, Silva, and Haaland were doing.
Facts. I’ve had enough of Liverpool and City brown-nosing each other and pretending it’s a rivalry. This could become close to United and Arsenal levels. LOVE IT

As lyle said, we'll which is it
ah flukey strike and 2 corners isn’t what i’d call bopping the ball around.

Arteta may have retired as Arsenal's captain, but his time at City under Pep was crucial for his development as a coach. Learning from one of the best in the world is invaluable. His tactics and philosophy have clearly been influenced by his experience there
@@BManippep was calling arteta up for tactics whilst he was an Arsenal player. Wenger was his teacher
Let me explain:
City are a fantastic possession based team.
This is common knowledge. City in truth have always wanted to be a big club. Arsenal is an institution in English Football. They hated being called out by one of the very clubs they wanted to be. this is like deja vu, arsenal don't have the "cojones", "nice kick about with the boys", after Richarlison and Ramsdale incident, all them been put in their place, i love it when an opposition player gets on this side of Mikel's arsenal.... see you soon man-city...
Most of the players would have grown up seeing TH14 ripping the Premier league a new one.
After 115 we will probably see Man city in league 2.
I love you'll keep it up
Blackburn 2005 is no bad thing. That team had some flair and style
City respect us already. We took 4 points of them last season. We had more players than them on EPL Team of the Season. That speaks volumes. They are actually upset that we are up there with them now
We don't 😂😂😂😂
u took 3 points off us a.k.a 1 win. 1 draw is a point for both. we dont respect u cause u had to win and u went for a draw last time.
What a trophy for Arsenal that is

Love the show boys 👏🏾 real football talk. Can you all see how much pain it causes the football world now that Arsenal aren’t a pushover team?
@@SH-oh6ys I have no objection with how Arsenal played, was a pretty smart way to come to the Etihad. Im just trying to show why people maybe have this sentiment.
@@Secretninja98 I’m not a brother. I’m a sister lol
Let’s clarify something man city too nasri took cliche took arteta so they took our captain to become their assistant we didn’t take their assistant
Yall said it best city seen arsenal trying to replicate the style and haven’t been successful. So city players will have more of a chip on their shoulder and show arsenal players there’s levels to it.

This podcast is just like talk sports.
Talk about olivers ridiculous streak of bad decisions favouring city.
2 first xi's? 🤣
We love you guys
Mahrez regen dude was fire.
The intro is why iam here😂❤
City won the league last season without beating any of the top 6 teams. But they got their wins against the other 13. So if Liverpool and Arsenal want to win, they have to beat them as well as the other teams because City will do their best to win their matches against the rest of the league. Its an absolute requirement for them to win the league
What you mean??? we played with 10 men???
Boudiddy in the houseeeee
Being top of the table is really horrible.
By law, fans of teams that don't take points off City this season shouldn't be allowed to speak for the whole summer.....shook ones.
Anyone noticed Lyes looks smack like Martinelli
It’s simple, WE BEAT THEM ALOT
100 defeat is not a joke
I would like to know how many people got the "burner, like KD style" comment.
WHY DO Y'ALL KEEP SAYING THIS "ARSENAL FANS WOULD TAKE A DRAW" SHYTE????? UNNACCEPTABLE. ANYONE TRYNA TAKE A DRAW AT THIS STAGE OF ARSENAL'S DEVELOPMENT NEEDS TO GO BACK TO 2022.
It's not rivaly they just look down on they city players still respect Liverpool
I disagree with the point that arsenal haven't got over the hump the knocked city out of the fa cup. I think it's more that they are seeing Arsenal as a threat and recency bias from the city players
Manchester City are trying to FORCE a rivalry.....I can ASSURE you Arsenal players do not fear or care about Manchester City.
Considering they are the main obstacle to them winning the league, they should probably care a little more lol

It’s obvious you two don’t really have any bias in favour of either team and yet all the Arsenal fans in the comments sound so offended by everything you’ve said 😭
Cute intro guys
The difference in attitudes to Liverpool compared to Arsenal by City players stems from the fact that Liverpool would not change the way they play just because they visit at the Etihad. They would lose a player and get destroyed by 5, but they would still play their game trying to make City’s life a nightmare. While Arsenal dominates other teams but then park the bus just to get a result against City. Which comes off as cowardly.
That's not cowardly
It's just determination to get a result

Man city are 100% weaker without Rodri
Talking about rodri's statement that he can not play that style of football and he was in atletico what is he talking about
I think you're spot on, Arsenal have an air of phoniness about them because of their lack of success, despite being so competitive in recent seasons and having such a loud fanbase. For a lot of other clubs in the Prem, and even in Europe, man are looking at Arsenal like: ''Why are you man gassing yourselves up so much? You've won nothing'', so teams don't respect them like that.
Get a life mate honestly it’s a game

Another newbie to the EPL who has only been watching it for the past 3-4 years.
Real bitter rivalry is back in the prem, none of this stupid friendly shit
Facts. I’ve had enough of Liverpool and City brown-nosing each other and pretending it’s a rivalry. This could become close to United and Arsenal levels. LOVE IT

Man City Forgot They BUILT THEIR FOUNDATION OFF OF ARSENAL's Squad !!!
Narrator: Man City do not hate Arsenal
I think the hate comes a lack of respect for Arsenal. I think pep only won 5 times against Liverpool.
Liverpool knocked city out the CL. Got 97 points and then blew city away to win the prem with 99 points. So there is kind of respect there.
But arsenal has not won anything.
