So you mean to tell me that all this time, Molle isn't just for carabiners and things with pocket clips?
Thank you SO much for this video. My dog harness has the Molle system and I thought I installed the pouches correctly. It turns out I didn't and one fell off in the heavy brush that my dog traveled through. Luckily I found and then proceeded to find out how to install it correctly. Your video did just that. Thanks!!!!

Another thing to keep in mind, especially if you have buttons/snaps, or if some of your molle webbing, doesn't have as much space beetween the molle, you might try using some needle nose plyers, basically stick it through, as much as you can/ until you see it sticking through on the other side, then grab it with the needle nose plyers, and pull it through, might take a min, depending on your molle. For allot of people, you may not even need the needle nose plyers, but it can be an issue, also you might find some of your mollie may have more space inbeetween, compared to others, making it harder or easier. Good vid though, just a thought though.

What's that molle vest called? It looks like the british desert DPM molle vest
i personally have a pack that i attach to the small of my back but i need quick access so i generally do it wrong on purpose even though there's quick tear Velcro its loud and really difficult to get off that area although this will be good for anything else i get

A good tool with Molly straps that have a snap is a simple budder knife hook it under the fat side of the sanp and it will run smooth

That is a nice demonstration of how to put all this together, but I don't have a vest, but just my military jacket which I wear when going camping. I have to rearrange some things in my backpack to make room for the food I will carry with me.

I have seen pics and videos of troops with complex gear rigs. I didn't know they were modular.
Awesome system. I use it with my outdoor gear bag. Not very lightweight vs expensive hiking packs but I'm a weekend warrior and I know it. I love having the extra space and organization. And if I run out of space... more pouches! Awesome.

What if what your attaching doesn't have webbing, just the straps
I would still weave the straps of the attachment through the webbing on whatever it is you are attaching it to.
Just weave through the same as if you did have them, and snap in. Don’t forget field tape aka od green or black duck tape . We used the heck outta tape for everything in the Marine Corps for securing gear and or silencing items from Helmet to boots. If u don’t want to carry a whole roll just pull some of the tape off and make yourself a mini roll and stash in your kit.

Aartwood, that is a very harsh comment. Many people are new to this, like me, and want to do it the right way. Please never bash someone that is really wanting to learn something new.
I'm new to all of this and I never knew how to apply any of this until now.
It's a sad world when a person spells live - l o v e.
