- Time lapse of the disassembly of the Weihrauch Rekord trigger unit.
This was in quite a poor state and broken rear trigger guard screws so couldn't be used in a rifle.

I purchased a new trigger housing case and set about swapping the internals.
All in all, it took an hour to put it together and take it apart again. Yes, it's a very fiddly job with each piece needing to be in a certain alignment for the next to fit.
Useless, stripping & resembling far too fast , silly
TH-cam can be funny with deeming some assembly and work as modifying and would be taken down.

Nice 👍. So how was it to work on, taking apart, putting back together?
Not too bad, all pins tap out but they were tight in the new case causing some problems. Should have tried them all dry before trying to juggle and jiggle parts and pins in together.
Hardest part is trying to get the 2 springs in place, under tension and over the centre pin. It would help if they didn't keep slipping out of place when trying to secure them, hence the constant one step forwards and 2 steps backwards
A bit of time and patience and it's easy enough
And for the next trick, lets do this to a FWB65/80... been done before but WOW does it have alot of parts. I have rebuilt both of mine.
A friend won an old HW35 and I got my first hands on experiance with a rekord trigger, and I liked it. Keep up the great work and thank you.

TBH, I haven't really shot a lot that hasn't had the Rekord trigger, it is a nice predictable and solid feeling let off.

It's not a difficult rifle to work on at all.
Even the Rekord trigger wasn't too bad, it's getting bits aligned and in the correct orientation.

What cleaner do you use?
Used some acetone to try and get rid of the old grease and grime. Brake and clutch cleaner would have been my other option but didn't have any
