I wish you had a video on how to do this with a 2004 suburban. From what I have seen so far, removing the gear box isn’t necessary.
Great information regarding the hydra-boost. I'll be changing my power steering oil cooler soon and flushing out the fluid, so I'm glad to know about that extra step. Thanks!
He showed it, that's what the thing he hit with the pry bar and hammer for. But mine has a bolt holding it on b

What is the name of the part that is holding the pitman arm?
The chances of the power steering line not breaking very slim
I'm curious how so the fluid didn't leak out after the lines were disconnected from the steering box.

The steering column goes into the steering box though…. You didn’t show removal of that
