I think i love your style to our great grandmothers.. instead of SIEVING the cooked beans, blending really makes sense. I ll definitely follow your steps
Just soak to soften, then blend for 2seconds,it helps peel it off, then you rinse, remove those that didn't go off totally, this will reduce the time wasted on peeling manually, that's my secret and it been helpful.
@@iamS.A.R.A.H I actually tried it. It came out as beans soup but I made it too thick and didn't enjoy it as much. Next time; I'd make it very light and come back with a review. Ps. Don't use white beans

how do you wash the beans so clean

@@oluwaseunoyelese4600 Thank you
I heard its good to cook the beans with a bit of salt
Not sure it matters as one would still add salt later anyway but I'll try that soon..
Can I just blend straight up... why do u have to cook?
Then it’ll turn to akara/moi moi paste instead of gbegiri soup
@@iamS.A.R.A.H I actually tried it.
It came out as beans soup but I made it too thick and didn't enjoy it as much.
Next time; I'd make it very light and come back with a review.
Ps. Don't use white beans
What is the black thing
Amala. Made from dry yam
Please, is red beans allowed?
Soo urruh, how do we peel black eye peas?? I mean the thing is hard, not unless you soak it first, but you didn't state that so...what gives?🤷♀️🤔

@@SisiJemimahsRecipes no o, we won't kill you. I beg give me the recipe, before I start having dreams of amala, gbegiri and soup
@@SisiJemimahsRecipes lol
Is amala supposed to taste bitter? I tried it for the first time and it was so bitter. Ps. I chew my shallows
It’s bitter if not well cooked. You have to cover it, add a bit more water. and heat it up to be well cooked. An expert doesn’t have to cover it.
Depends on the type plantain amala is sweeter. Yam doesn't have much taste to me sha.
Barney Isle
Wow, it's not that hard to make
Take care of your hurt finger 😌. So sorry about that though.
It won't be well cooked like this it's better the beans is cooked until it turn into paste
