Nice job Sir! I enjoy the British humor also ;-). New subscriber! I too loathe certain watch parts. The impulse jewel for example. Terribly fiddly to re-set once broken or loose.
Great result! I feel bulova get a bad rap of late, despite their modern faux-pas they made really beautiful watches. I have a caravelle with the as 1700 on bench awaiting mainspring, and it's lovely. Great content as always.😊
My Gentlemen friend. I really am following in your footsteps. Did the Mudu and now the Bulova to do. Can't go wrong. Admiration of you is all. Thank you.
Really enjoyed the video and great work. Have to agree with the comments that vintage Bulova is now underrated. Also agree with one of the comments that Caravelle doesn’t get enough credit either. Hope you are well.
great video, great work and i love that i can hear you breath all the time, refreshing and authentic! 🙏🏼 😂😜👍🏼👍🏼 and- the narrating is on another level, my good man😂
Definitely a touch of the Tom Bakers (Dr who) in your dialog style although didn't see any use of the sonic screwdriver. Excellent video: visuals and sound. Meticulous lubrication. Well done sir, have subscribed to view more.
@@GentlemensWatchServices I just wanted to experiment with some of the wall content. I'm not sure my normal subscribers are going to be to interested in making ladies handbags! :D
Great video. Thanks again.
Cheers Nick, thanks for stopping by.
Great Video - Thanks for sharing: 👍👏👌!

Amplitude for days… Well done! And that dial is delicious. 😋
Thanks Mike, I didn't want to send it back.

Exactly. I think of Bulova, along with Gruen, as American greats who's legacy was somewhat tarnished by later use of the brand
Thanks!
Thank you so much, very generous of you.
You do great work and you make me LOL out loud!
Lovely watch & work with great results , entertaining as ever , spot on .
Thank you Ted!

Hey Ross! Only thing I’d do different to the video, is get the setting lever screw and setting lever in as the first part. Thank you mate.

Extremely high praise. TB was the best regeneration
Nice video mate, lovely watch. I see you also ignored the barrel lid instructions :D
Cheers David. Hoping the Bulova cops don’t come for me. Enjoying your new channel, good idea, gives the subject more room to breath.

Perfect, everything running tickety-boo again
Doesn’t get better than tickety-boo!
great job using a brass screwdriver to avoid to damage the bridges…
1960s Batman watch maker!
If the screw backed itself out partially, the metal dust probably came from the underside of the rotor. Mystery solved!
Could be!
Setting lever screw. You'd be a horrible little chap too if you were always being forgotten.
The behaviour of setting lever screws is indefensible
