It seems that there is no need to visit other Asian countries for everyone may experience the certain vibe in Tokyo or Osaka, resp. Yokohama, as well. If you intend to visit once South Korea, there is an intresting boat connection from I believe Fukuoka. Anyhow, I am looking forwsrd to another snow video and your further snowboarding inprovements. As you mention Shinjuku is forever changing, old building give way to new building. Spring and summer with the fresh green leaves, autumn with golden leaves and then there’s winter with no leaves at all. Looking forward to Shinjuku during cherry blossom season.

I like the day trip idea! 😊 It can be something very basic--a ninety minute train ride to someplace interesting, explore the local attractions, have lunch, and then return home. They will just leave quietly without even giving you a chance to salvage their support. I agree with another comment that the word complaint is not the right word especially if that viewer also gave you their ideas on how to improve and not just bad mouthing or attacking without any reason.
You're right saying that any feedback is valuable, and I respect your vision due to your marketing experience as well, truly. ❤ But let's not forget that Rion makes his whole channel running by himself only, while other famous J- TH-camrs have a whole team, duplicated channels and larger budgets to cover wider topics in Japan. Harsh critics recently coming out randomly - and mostly- from new or "silent" viewers watching behind their screens, often sound like : Rion making Tokyo content? Too boring, enough of Tokyo Rion climbs Mount Fuji? Not enough, climb higher elsewhere or travel outside of Japan Rion goes to local areas? Not "mainstream" enough, do more well-known ones in other Japanese prefectures Rion covering Osaka, Kobe, Nara, the whole Kansai or other specific "niche" areas ? Too boring as well, let's go back to Tokyo And so on, and so on.... I could go on with many other examples, but right now we shouldn't forget that meanwhile some stay "hidden" behind their screens spitting critics, he takes these raw feedback wholeheartedly and ALWAYS tries his best to make his true Gao base satisfied... and it works, at least at 99, 9% considering his unfiltered comment section here. Let's keep improving, offer and demand always fluctuate, but let's not forget that a little can go a long way, at the end of the day, way better to be surrounded by few people who truly appreciate your work and actively contribute to it from the start than a lot who just criticize with only a short term engagement. I think the term complaining is not correct, we are just giving feedback. Feedback makes you better if you take it constructively. We want you and the channel to be better since we believe you can create more content and have more ideas on how to show us Japan more in different ways. But you must take feedback in order to improve cause we like your channel. Gambatte.

Shin Okubo was the first place we stayed when we visited japan. Not knowing it was a Korean culture area. lol. Still was nice.

Harsh critics recently coming out randomly - and mostly- from new or "silent" viewers watching behind their screens, often sound like :
Rion making Tokyo content? Too boring, enough of Tokyo
Rion climbs Mount Fuji? Not enough, climb higher elsewhere or travel outside of Japan
Rion goes to local areas? Not "mainstream" enough, do more well-known ones in other Japanese prefectures
Rion covering Osaka, Kobe, Nara, the whole Kansai or other specific "niche" areas ? Too boring as well, let's go back to Tokyo
And so on, and so on....
I could go on with many other examples, but right now we shouldn't forget that meanwhile some stay "hidden" behind their screens spitting critics, he takes these raw feedback wholeheartedly and ALWAYS tries his best to make his true Gao base satisfied... and it works, at least at 99, 9% considering his unfiltered comment section here.
Let's keep improving, offer and demand always fluctuate, but let's not forget that a little can go a long way, at the end of the day, way better to be surrounded by few people who truly appreciate your work and actively contribute to it from the start than a lot who just criticize with only a short term engagement.

I think the term complaining is not correct, we are just giving feedback. Feedback makes you better if you take it constructively. We want you and the channel to be better since we believe you can create more content and have more ideas on how to show us Japan more in different ways.
It is kinda repetitive walking out on your backyard like the comment I've seen before, not sure if he deleted it himself or you deleted it. But you must take feedback in order to improve cause we like your channel.
