Which way do you cut a kiwi? 🥝🥝🥝
In Half!!
@@sofly6202 It's so easy, right!?
I always cut mine in half and scoop it out in bits like a boiled egg. No skill necessary ˆ◡ˆ
U look beautiful 😍
Peel with potato peeler
Potato peeler is how I peel my kiwi. It’s quick and easy and doesn’t waste so much fruit.

"Gently work the spoon into the flesh staying in close contact with the skin"
Husband: What are you watching?
I think there's another similar option that worked pretty well for me. I cut both ends off, stood it on end and just made a vertical cut of the outer skin and then peeled off the peel with my fingers. It leaves a lot more of the fruit because it just removes peel.
A potato peeler works good as well! No worries about wasting fruit.
Yup i use that
I literally just did this today without even knowing
It's so time consuming, though. Unless you constantly have access to a brand new, razor sharp peeler, it gets caught and/or cuts into the flesh.
I tried but was only able to give it a haircut
Brilliant! You are absolutely right.. NOW I will enjoy eating Kiwis. The spoon method is simply genius. THANKS!
Thank you for the tip!
Thanks this was really helpful
Lovely short and sweet video. Thank you. I was doing my own way of getting the kiwi out with the knife so far, which you haven't mentioned. After i watched the video, I did the 3rd way - Spoon 2.0 and it was easy! ;) Thank you. Just that I need to carry a spoon along with the Knice, to office if I have to eat Kiwi at Office :P
that was a great tip about using thhe sppon tto get to the fruit!
0:13 Wow! Very well done transition
Love these easy healthy quick tricks, thanks!
You're very welcome!! :)
Great info !! 🔥
Thank you! I need to go relatively sharp spoon shopping now!
Thank you so much this video was really helpful I bought it some kiwis at my supermarket and I kinda forgot how to cut them so thank you
Thank you !
Ty ty made it easy ❤
I agree with another comment. I would cut closer to the end to lessen waste. Thanks for the video.
Thank you! 😊😊
You're welcome 😊
thank you for help. i didnt know how to cut a kiwi.thanks for showing me :)
LoLz many thanks, I'm staring at Kiwi and now I know what to do!
Lol - glad the video could help you out :)
It’s kiwifruit not kiwi, because kiwi is a bird or New Zealander.
Thank you! Tried the spoon method and it worked perfectly. You saved me a lot of time and frustration.
Yay! That's awesome to hear. So happy you found it helpful :) Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
I never saw the 2nd way. I think I'll stick with that way. Thanks!
Awesome! That's my favorite way, too!
Thanks 😁
Thank you! :)
we asians just cut it into half without peeling the skin, and then use a teaspoon to scoop it up like you are eating the flesh of a coconut hahaha
The skin is the most nutritious part, although I do realise some people dislike the texture.
Since you don't know how the kiwi was grown and how many pesticides were used, I think you should not eat the peel
Love these healthy quick tricks :) ❤
Thank you for keeping your nails natural and short!!!
Cleveland Mexico here, good video thanks!
Underrated comment
Thanks.
I like all three ways...🥝
Thanksssssss
Then you have dishes to wash. Just eat the kiwi like an apple. The skin won't hurt you and is good fiber.
My way was to cut it into slices FIRST, then take a knife and put it just inside the skin and spin the kiwi slice in a circle, leaving a ring of skin. Looking forward to trying these methods.
Your name always makes me smile. :)
Why waste so much fruit but cutting so much off each end?
Yeah that’s what I said, the chunk with the stem she cut off was way too much
I mean it's very hard to even eat that much so you wont even get to eat it
Exactly
@@Electro838
What do you mean by "eat that much"? A single kiwi should not make an adult full by any means.
Yeah...that a lot of fruit wasted
Thank you so much! I now can eat my kiwis in peace without having to worry!
Yay!! So happy to hear that :)
My kids have been asking for them again but I suck at peeling.. even with cutco knives 😅 Thanks for teaching this 30 yr old how to prep a kiwi. The spoon is amazing. My kids will thank you ha.
Yay!! So happy to hear you liked the spoon trick. Glad your kiddos will be getting some kiwi soon :)
Come to my place I'll teach you
Border crossings must be interesting with that name. Thanks for the video!
Haha ya they get really confused at the airport :) Thanks for the comment!
IDK how I stumbled on this video, but it never occurred to me that a person like her even exists.
Doc said "start eating kiwi." I did, and I've been making a mess. Very informative - going to try #1 and #2 as I've already failed at #3. Thanks!
A Kiwi is an endemic bird of New Zealand. A kiwifruit is the fruit you eat…
Just eat the entire thing 😋
I admittedly have been so lazy I started eating it with the skin on. Fuzzy!
How does it not sting your tongue?
Hello...writing you from Florida. Thank you so much! Wow it worked. I cut off the ends but NOT too much. Then I used the spoon method going around until it fell out buy itself. AMAZING! I will ring the bell to see what other tricks you might have with fruits or veggies lol 😆😆😆
Tanks I work in a cresh so I need to learn this ☺️🇮🇪
Kiwi skin is actually full of fiber, folate, and antioxidants. Very good for you
and pesticides
Thanks, I'm a bachelor living alone for the first time and I love kiwis, but never learned how to peel one.
Oooo! Thank you so much! I have a bunch I need to cut open and three ways to do it😊 thank you for showing how it’s done!
Here’s some good news for you by the way!❤
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV
“and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Acts 16:30-31 KJV
Genial l love the video my friend l am new in your Chanel because I like the video my friend you have my like 💯 👍
I use a potato peeler it works great
I suggest that you cut closer to the ends to save more fruit! And are you composting the remains! Don't waste good fruit!
I just eat the whole thing. A kiwi is entirely edible.
Ya but to me- I don’t like the skin or the fuzzy stuff on it-
thank you for opening my eyes
Kinda like kiwi berries
Doesn't it hurt your tongue?? When I eat even a small piece of the skin, it gives my tongue like a scratchy, burning feeling.
@@fullofxoxo maybe u r allergic, or try yellow kiwi fruits they have smooth skin
the 3rd way is how i learned as a kid, but it's kinda messy so i was hoping to find a cleaner way to do it here.
think i'll try the 1st method.
Why you got to make this A 20 minute documentary😤😤
I would use second method knife and spoon
The fact that I was looking for the song “Kiwi” by Harry Styles and accidentally clicked on this 💚🥝
It pays to put the skin into your garden. As the saying goes what comes from the ground goes back to the ground, not the garbage
Thank you so much guys🤩, mujhe laga ab mere video pe 11k views se jada kabhi nhi honge, but tum logo ne 12k Karwa ke ya bata diya ki viwes fridge Nahin Hai ❤❤love you guys 🥺
Hi London Brazil, I am Boston Kenya.
OH NO THEY’RE AFTER ME
Last method I've been doing forever
I just eat the peel. Much easier and takes way less time. Less mess too.
What about pesticides?
@@frechesferkel2749 just wash it first. Giving it a good scrub also takes the hairs off.
How to cut a kiwi: Don't. Just eat it like an apple. (Well, not exactly like an apple. But just go ahead and bite into it, skin and all. So much easier 🥝 FTW
When you get them in the grocery store and they’re hard, can you leave them on the counter and let them ripen up? Can you put a banana or an orange or something like that around browned it to make it ripen faster
Yep exactly that
@@ashwoods4157 Do you have to put them in the refrigerator?
@@Auroralights321 I wouldn't but I've known people who do
A grapefruit spoon works well
I bite directly into kiwis skin and all!
“We’ve all been there”
Have we, though?
K is for kiwi
'London Brazil'......that can't be real 🤣
It absolutely is! Married the hubby for it :)
Reminds me of people who name their babies after where they are conceived 🤣. All the best 😊.
@@mikeyblade430 Well my parents never traveled to London so I can rule that one out :)
Believe me, they didn't miss much.
I just eat it with the skin on :P
Yum!!
I already knew how to do that but... Thanks i geuss....?
Thanks for this 💪🏻 I tried peeling it with my thumb the other day and well, it hurt, also is it weird that I eat the kiwi whole, like skin and everything 😅
My husband use to do that until we got together. He didn’t know your supposed to peel them.
@@AshleyAshleyAshley395 You aren’t supposed to peel them. The skin has a ton of vitamin c and fibre
A lifetime problem solved!🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🥝🤣
I’ve never had a kiwi nor plan to, why am I here
I just cut them in quarters and then eat the fruit by putting them against my teeth. Quick and easy
The fastest way to eat a kiwi is to cut the extremities, then cut it in half horizontally and vertically so that you end up with half circles that fit your bite mark. You separate the skin with each bite instead of doing surgery every time you want one.
Fuxk, I just used fingers peeling, tearing broke, peel again, then watched your video, should had watch the video first, thx u I know what to do for the next 🥝
Oh no!! So sorry to hear your first attempt did not go so well. Happy you found the video, though! Best of luck slicing into the next one :)
Waisted too much
Tahiti
Now that I tried the first way and cutting in half, I see the spoon makes a lot of the juice come out
real OGs cut them with a SpArScHäLeR and than eat them whole
Ok, but how do you wash it? Do you just start cutting into it straight from the store?
You just rinse it under water like you would an apple
Is your name really London Brazil?
Yup, it sure is thanks to my parents and then my husband :)
whats the point of a spoon when its sharp!?!?
Isn’t that just soft tofu?
i usually just cut the kiwi in half like the third way and just use a spoon to scoop out the flesh as i eat it
It’s kiwifruit, a kiwi is a bird or New Zealander
Guys she is london brazil
Or as harvesters eat it: push thumbs in the middle, tear in half, squeeze a half and eat it out 😬 3 second process))
or as chads eat it, just like an apple with skin on
Just eat the skin, it's the most nutrient rich part.
I need a Samurai Spoon.
Came here for spoon method 😂
I am from Britain... we are not allowed knives.
I think if I exposed the fact of Sharp Spoons.... I would be on a LIST
why are you lying
I just cut my first kiwi.
This video is too drawn out thank God for fast forward - thanks for the lesson on how to cut a kiwi
Eat like boiled egg cut the top off and eat with tea spoon easy and safe
check out 1 more way kiwi the gifford way
Wow! You could have actually eaten the kiwi!
Is that actually her name 😳 I just came here to cut kiwi but now I have so many questions…
I've always wondered the same thing 😆
Haha..😀😅😂🤣
