I adore both of these songs ... but then I have said forever that Just Bring It is the best progressive hard rock album since Appetite for Destruction, and maybe of all time. "Moratorium" (track 3) and "You." (track 10) are two of the 13 absolute bangers on this truly awesome album (that everyone, not just Maidiacs, should own).
It is that metal pickguard, it makes the attack almost bearably bright. The clean tone is probably a bit miserable, but it works amazingly well in this context.
Akane hitting the double pedal like it owes her money is always the highlight of her playing. These are two seminal BM songs that I felt should have made it to the Yokohama Area Tour Final setlist.
These 2024 live cuts are really good. I think we might be privileged to see more of them released over the next few months. I went to both Zepp Haneda concerts and all the songs played on both nights were filmed by multiple crews. I guess time will tell.
