I just ordered the shocks, metal front suspension, metal transfer case and uprated drive shaft and the same rear axle you have. No idea what the hell I'm doing, but can't wait for it to arrive.
Now that I've gone to a, all- metal chassis /suspension and 370 motor with metal gearbox, my stock WPL control board can't handle the weight and constantly has to be re-paired with the radio. What board and metal gear servo should I buy to handle all the weight? Hopefully I can use the stock radio. Oh, its not a drift truck. It's more of a work vehicle that Ill turn into a crawler someday.
I had the same problem I got rid of the original radio gear right away the servo was just a cheap amazon one I used but if I was doing this again the chassis would stay plastic it adds far to much weight.
I bought the same control arm kit and installed it, but the lower control arm didn't have enough range of motion at the pivot ball for the suspension to work, so it was just ridged. Did you run into anything like this?
I bought suspension like this one but i guess its poor made bolta head, allan key 1.5 slips and 2.0 cant be feeted. Any sudgestion on that? EDIT: And with what key you adjust angle an tue on metal suspension? 4mm key ?
Great truck and upgrades! 👍 Subscribed 👍

hi mate yes i did i had to open out the holes in the arms to give more movement real pain in the back side good luck with it.
Hi, I have the same bodykit, what size wheels did you use. Ones I bought are too big to use with the bodykit.
Hi they were top line m chassis wheels not sure of the actual size.
This is awesome, looks like my budget for a D12 just got destroyed. Looks like I need to save a lot more. Where did you find that Chassis?
Hi all parts for this build we're bought on ebay apart from all the 3d printing I do that myself.
A link as to where you got your aluminum parts?
all from eBay mate but the arms didn't work needed a lot of modification.
Is this whole setup available as a kit?
chassis yes everything else is done separate
how is the drifting performance?
@bell5621 honestly not good if you want it to drift leave the plastic chassis in. It's to heavey
@@thewhitewill will changing servo fix that?
@bell5621 no did that maybe on hard surface it might be better i was running on carpet there is a video on my channel of it driving have a look

Hello, excuse me for asking.
Seems you can fit the brushless motor into this metal chassis. Did you also cutting some parts in the chassis too?
Hi no with this chassis the motor fitted in fine.
Thank you for the response. I saw on the anither video, youre using 2435 motor. Is it possible if you could share which model it is? Thank you.
It is a surpass hobby brushless kit got it from amazon. Hope this helps.
Does the rear springs help?
It definitely made the rear better yes.
What motor do you have in this?
