  • This is the official WPL front end metal upgrade for the WPL D12 and D42. This adds weight down low and gives this truck some metal ball joint action!

    I like that you figure the parts by experience. It's refreshing!

      its fun sometimes and rewarding when and if you do complete the assembly without instructions for sure.

    Grease will attrack micro debris and in the long run will act like sand paper, otherwise you could use graphite powder or if you dont have any just scrub pencil inside metal link rod hole

      @@RunThatRC try magnetizing your drivers it makes dealing with tiny parts much easier

      get a good tiny magnet and stick it on your tool, enjoy.

    I think they would come in handy if you were using the van for off road because of its durability and that little bit more clearance but if you were thinking anything else I think the standards would do the job nicely since they are adjustable still....great video David keep them rolling mate👍👍👍

    Does it increase steering angle? lower arm has more clearance

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      it does increase the angle but a servo horn would be needed and a adjustable steering rate transmitter.

    I predict its going to be a little more stable with those metal suspension parts. They bring more weight down low

      I have yet to run it. Been too busy lately. It might help from rolling over but the parts do limit travel compared to stock parts.

      not noticeable improvement in handling, but you're better off placing ballasts on the frame itself. ive been able to get good top speed runs with the ballasts.

    What is the price?

  • @kevindominguez6697
    @kevindominguez6697 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    i expected something better than this, i wouldnt even call it an upgrade. less travel, requires break in, limited camber. they should have took something like gadoga's design and made it metal.

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      im with you on that. this is just more complications without that much or any benefit over stock.

    Can the upper arms be shortened to add even more camber?

    • @RunThatRC
      @RunThatRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes they can be adjusted.
