This was such an amazing find and beautiful scenery from the pools. Watching the streaming water when your walking along, it was crystal clear beauty. The Cleopatra pools look so fascinating. It's not dorky, this is a great new path that has further enhanced my lore for visiting Turkey.
Another mint video keeping me from actually working! 😅 I havent seen you mention you visiting Side in this series. It's so we'll preserved, a lot of the ruins are under glass walkways, allowing the city/town (not sure which) to thrive without damaging the history
The travertine pools were great also Cleopatras pool was nice our hotel had there own hot springs, shame you missed the ruins of Hierapolis with the Necropolis, walk through the city ruins, Theatre, church to St Philip. So much more that the pools. Spent the whole day there in one of those so called rushed coach tours
Sorry, watching in the wrong order! But I just clicked on Camille‘s bottom before I saw the playlist. Seriously, how wonderful is this? Such a contrast to Istanbul, too. I don’t know why you‘re asking if you’re dorky? Because it’s a bit gimmicky? I love swimming so I‘d have grabbed the chance!
@@NearFromHome I know, but there were still people around. I'm planning to go in Feb, I just want to make sure I can totally wear my swimsuit and go in the water and don't look out of place
THats the main place I wanna visit there, cleopatras pool... And yeah, not many people talk about that, theres the Apolo temple there too... Im going in february, in wich month did you go there?
Yes! We loved the Cleopatra pools. We went in February. Unfortunately, we didn't have too much time to see the ruins after the pools as we were staying Izmir. :(
which entrance would be quicker to enter the travertine’s?as i have 3 month old infant, want to swim as well in the pool, also do we have to climp up to the cleopetra pool?
The main entrance is a little far from the Cleopatra pools, but they actually have golf carts on site to help get you around. The pool is also easily accessible by just a few stairs, so I imagine you'll be fine!
This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! I had no idea this even existed! Great video!
Thanks so much! It really is awesome.
That cleopatra pool looks sick! So cool
I know right???? 🤯
I'm doing the exact same thing today. January, pretty cold out there, but very few tourists. I dig it.
Nice! I hope you have a great time!

Hahaha thanks so much! 🥰 I hope you can make it out there!
@@NearFromHome ΕΦΕΣΟΣ IS GREECE NO TURKEY
Not dorky at all...looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! This video was the least planned in our Turkey series but I’m so glad we went.
@9:30 You are a dork, and I changed my itinerary to Hieropolis, because I am a dork too ;)
lol
Na that ruin pool looks dope. I'd totally go there
Good to know we’re not the only ones 😎

We really want to go back, and explore more of the coast. We will definitely check it out! :D

We loved it too. We did check out the ruins of Hierapolis, but didn't film it. :O It was very cool, but we just didn't‘t have time.
I hav an extra day at Antalya. Was thinking of driving down here. Dec. Any tips
We haven't been to Antayla, but really want to go. There are some really great ruins much closer to Antayla than Pamukkale I think.

Hahahaha that’s the idea 😅
I guess I was just surprised. Ive watched so many videos on Pamukkale, and none mentioned the Cleopatra pools.
👍
thank you!
in which season did you visit there?
January! Though, I think next time we will go in April, as we were constantly running from storms!
@@NearFromHome oh i see. I'll be visiting soon so aha thanks
@@sboy1741 have fun!
Its a hot spring right? Why aren't nobody bathe in it?
It was the low season, so not many people were there!

600 turkish lira is about 30 american dollars. Thats a deal for that museum pass wow
I know right??? All of Turkey is so affordable.
How deep is the pool? :o Do you think the start is too deep to walk on?
Most of it is easily walkable, but there are some really deep parts too. I wouldn't be too worried though as you can easily avoid them.
