I am in Portugal, unvaccinated, followed the vit D + zinc + Vit C + quercitine protocol for 2 years; a clean organic diet; regular exercise. Caught whatever dominant variant was around here back in the end of May and only had a headache for a day and felt tired for a couple of days. Superhealthy at 59. I now have natural immunity. Very happy, thanks.

Anyone who trusts any data on Covid at this point, whether it is affirming to their beliefs or not, needs their head testing given there has been verified systemic and systematic fraud throughout from deliberately overestimating mortality by more than 90% to overestimating infection rates by more than 50% with very fallible tests and over-testing that return many false positives and on top of this many of the "infection figures" were the same individual with the same infection being repeat tested.
Then there is vaccine efficacy and safety which was massively over-estimated based on fraudulent trials and selective data and let's not forget the ludicrously exaggerated forecasts of death and infection by presenting near impossible worse than worse case scenarios as most likely outcomes to the public tog et lockdowns.
Natural immunity from infection of any variant against all variants without being vaccinated is very likely well over 90% while that figure drops away the more vaccine doses an individual has since we know from /Gov figures that likelihood of infection increases exponentially after the first dose as it weakens natural immunity.
That is why you constantly hear about people who have been triple and quadruple vaxed not only being infected but repeatedly infected.

I’m currently just getting over what I’m guessing is BA-5 here in New York. This was my first time getting Covid I am 60 years old unvaccinated in pretty good health. I used ivermectin, and all the supplements according to the FLCCC protocols. It felt like a flu with a lingering cough and congestion. I still have some fatigue but overall I’m glad I chose not to be vaccinated. I was wondering going forward does this variant give us natural immunity for future variants?

It does teach the body a broader immunity then the spike vaccine did so in short it is yes, but since it is a evolving virus, just like common cold or flu, we will all get it again and again but severity should be low. However if you do develop something affecting your immune system - diabetes, obesity, lung problems etc then you probably should take a vaccine in the future against whatever variants are going around. Just like we advice 70+ people to vaccinate against influenza... so that they don't die from a a silly little virus :)

All infections will leave your immune system with learned immunity. How effective the learned immunity will be against future variants depends on the variants in the future. Being around people should keep your immune system up to date as it gets exposed to new possible variants going around in the population... something like ninety percent of infections will be without symptoms so a lot of experience to be gained from being around other people...

I'm in Canada. You're quite right about the fact that the officials don't talk about natural immunity much. Most of them are still beating the booster shot drum. I got BA.1 in January and always felt that was my booster shot. It's sad how many folks I know got omicron, then immediately rushed out to get a booster shot because they didn't want to get covid again. I don't feel like our health officials are doing a very good job educating people about how this stuff works. They finally did come out and say that if you have covid you should wait 3 months before getting a booster. But that recommendation was quieter than the "get your booster shot now" message.

This comment for me shows a lack of understanding. This virus is a highly infectious and airborne. You do not escape infection because you didn't get sick and have it confirmed with a test that showed positive at that time. You get exposed to every dominant circulating variant on a regular basis. You may even be spreading it yourself while completely unaware. Just because someone has a positive test result with or without symptoms from BA.5 it doesn't mean they haven't been infected before. Since they have definitely been infected before and got BA.5 it means they will continue to get infected by future variants.
Most people like John don't seem to grasp the basics of immunity and infection with this type of virus which is why they've been consistently wrong the entire time. This is not a one time infection and having caught it before will not give you or "the herd" immunity in the future. What makes this virus deadly is the process behind immune escape and the immune systems reaction to that.
Having had infection before which everyone has had many times will not prevent future infection or the severity thereof.

Hubby and I both had what turned out to the original form of Covid during Christmas 2019. I had lingering wheezing for a few weeks but both of us bounced back relatively well. (Both fit and in our 60's. No comorbidities.) We decided not to be vaccinated as we felt we had some Natural Immunity and that it was sensible to rely on that while we waited to see if the vaccine was as 'safe and effective' as claimed by the marketing. (No, on both counts as it happens.) Neither of us have had any kind of illness since. Every triple vaccinated person we know has had Covid multiple times. Not a single one has escaped that. These include retirees, young people, and those working at home. In fact the more vaccines people of our acquaintance have received, the more times they catch the thing. It is directly proportionate.

The first time I had it was Christmas 2019 and severely, nasty dry cough, harder to breathe but the worst of it was the very high temperature whilst feeling freezing cold and shivering in bed for days, it wasn't until I saw the list of symptoms over here that I knew I'd already had it, that was the real first wave, I had lingering symptoms a few weeks later - my lungs felt stiff and less elastic and it was harder to breathe again, I overcame that by getting lots more omega 3 after learning omega 3 regulates the immune system and controls inflammation, I've had it several times since, November 2020 was very mild and over in a few days but then the jab campaign started and made it worse (it isn't a vaccine) delta for me was a bad headache with sore eyes and I've had different versions of omicron a few times, similar symptoms to delta but less severe, so that's a clear win every time for natural immunity - with a virus that mutates we will catch it again but the immune system has less to figure out and so viral load won't increase to the same levels and it will be less severe 👍 Learn more about omega 3 here, really it's about the ratio of omega 6 and 3 you have in your body so taking a supplement won't be enough, please look into this more...

Portugal here, just got COVID for the first time last monday. BA5 I believe. Had the jabs. Mild simptons, sore troat (why I did the test, not usual in August) and chills on the first night. Aside from that, just fine. Had more severe symptons from the jab (Pfizzer). Were I live no one cares anymore, most don't isolate nor they call health authorities to inform on being infected (me included, just isolating in my room).

I'm really sorry to hear that. There's plenty of evidence that "vacc" could cause an OAS (Original Antigenic Sin), which could cause less natural immunity protection from the subsequent infections. In simple terms, now you might have higher risk of catching it again, than if you'd had no toxic proteins from an extinct strain in your body.

The injections were effective for the first variants which were more dangerous to keep people out of the ICU. You could see it in the statistics that when more and more people were vaccinated the number of people in ICU without vaccination became higher than the people with vaccination. Here in my country when the vaccination rate was 83,5% of the 18 years and older, more than 50% of people hospitalized for Covid were not vaccinated. So 16,5% off that age group delivered more than 50% of the hospital population including the ICU. So that was the point of the injections.

We have fully accepted and expected to get covid at some point but nothing yet. We know other unvaxed folks that also have not had covid? I'm not making shit up here. We have sat in front of vaccinated folks tell us how sick they got with covid and thank god they were vaccinated because it could have been so much worse and we should get vaccinated for our own good....lmao...this is crazy. Here is the strange thing, even tough we never tried to avoid it, we was like pre pandemic when the adults finish their kid's meal, we never got sick. Not a sniffle although kissing until she got fever. She got sicker the second time around, so the viral load must have been substantial, but no, almost nothing from me and my daughter had 0 symptoms. Why do you think that was? I taught delte provided almost 0 protection against this variant.
