  • Where might you be hoarding? I ask an INTP who can gather information and not do much with it or earn money and hold onto it with no purpose in mind other than having it. Are you hoarding time? Energy? Resources?

we INTPs struggle to find where we can help because of the breakdown of the family structure and small communities. In ye olden days, our role would be obvious.

It's a tough world right now for finding purpose and focus that's for sure. We have to be persistent with our experimentation.

Hoarding a resource is a sign of a lack of this resource, an insufficient ability to accumulate this specific kind of resource, or a too costly way of obtaining this resource.
Regarding the value of "non-sense" knowledge:
I think any kind of knowledge has some value if not for oneself than for other circumstances or other people.
I think life is not about understanding why you find obscure hobbies interesting, but it is more about figuring out how to trade your resources for the resources you are lacking in life.

For sure. Hoarding can also simply be a belief of lack and might be as simple as letting go of the belief.

Goodness, this is a big eye opener for me.....I am always struggling with this but couldn't explain it. When I don't get feedback from my clients, I tend to stand back and feel defeated/failure. I just keep my knowledge to myself. I do that with almost everything in my life!🤦‍♀️
Thank you for your help with this! How can we change it?

It can be easy to feel defeated! It's tough to realize. We can certainly start by asking for feedback. I know that can be tough. But the bravery of going towards the uncertainty of getting feedback for all that energy we put into our thinking is always worth it. Either it'll help us calibrate or know that we need to keep searching for who will resonate. I've had so much back and forth uncertainty with this channel and project but I know that I need to carry on and serve my fellow INTPs.
I also have a program called Cosmic Calibration for INTPs which covers unlocking intuition for INTPs which can be a big help in putting more experimental energy out there about our ideas. There's a discount link in the description of this video 🙏🏽

Lots of INTPs identify as Enneagram type 5 , Hoarding is a vice of type 5 because of their need to be independent

Yes indeed. 5s will keep their emotions to themselves or a proprietary method. I think this is a way of limiting requests for their attention. I do this a bit as well and don't make myself known as an available resource (even though I'm not a 5).

I hoard my knowledge because nobody wants it lol
Edit: Hopefully I'll put it all into a book someday

Out of 8 billion people out there, someone has gotta find it interesting! Ha :D
