INTP here: >reads entire menu >Makes a decision >Practice saying the order in my head, including an amicable smile and a "thank you" at the end >Server gets here >Delivers my line perfectly, along with my amicable smile and "thank you" >Server asks, "how much sugar do you want in your drink?" >Does not compute, stares back blankly
Literally the same. When I make phone call to someone I don’t know I go through several options of what I’ll say and what they’ll say and what I’ll say in response and if they don’t say something I computed for I will hang up.
He thinks INTPs are nothing other than introversion, absolutely nothing. I’ve tested INTP for 40 years and he doesn’t get us, he just dislikes us - A LOT.
i'm an INFP and I kinda developed a way to choose faster, I just look around and see what my friends or my husband ordered and If I like it, I choose it too... or I just make little changes based on that. My ESTP husband sometimes helps me with that, he makes me questions to reduce possibilities and help me know what I'd like, it's like if there are 10 things I'd like, he forms pairs and makes them go into a mini tournament and makes them battle 1 vs 1 till we have a winner 😂 (or at least that's what happens in my mind, in reality he only ask questions and that's all lol). We also share food in some cases because sometimes I order something and I like more his food instead, and also If I don't like something enough or if my eyes were bigger than my belly, he just eats it for me. ♥ uwu
I just never look at the menu and choose mozzarella sticks with mashed potatoes and if they dont have one of those or somebody mentions a different food I want then I just have a mental breakdown lol
I like that. I'm an infp too. I usually just repeat the last thing the waiter or person ordering before me says. Or close my eyes and order whatever my finger lands on.
I'm an INFP, but I'm a picky enough eater/have strong enough food preferences that I don't tend to have much trouble deciding what I want by the time that everyone else in my party is ready to order. I can usually narrow it down to two or three things that I would most like to eat. And if I don't feel any more of a strong preference of one of those over the other two, I just pick one and tell myself that I'll try that one that day and I'll come back and try one of the others the next time we go to that restaurant.
Yeaa I repeat the same order as my friend's order anytime we ate at new restaurant, and keep ordering the same menu for like forever (with little change here and that) I even only ate chicken rice bowl at the place called "Steak house" since my friend previously ordered that 😂
I prefer to get take away... Studying the menu at home, for as long as I want. Also, I now just think about what I want before looking for it at the menu. Saves time. One time they forgot about me and my boyfriend had to ask where my food was... Like, thank you. I love being forgotten about...
I've never ordered desert first, but as a vegetarian, I've ordered two appetizers instead of an entree many times, because I don't always feel like mushroom risotto xD
INFJ - I have NEVER gone to a restaurant by myself because I'd die from the awkwardness. But I do go on what I call "me dates" to places that don't require human interaction like movies or the zoo 🤣
I've done it a couple of times and I spend the first 10 minutes congratulating myself on how cool and independent I am and the next half an hour wondering if everyone is looking at the weird person eating alone
@@bostonterrier2976 😂. It does get better as time goes by and your confidence increases. I began to go alone in my early 30s. It helps to remember that we’re all dealing with similar life challenges no matter our personalities.
Why is the INTP's wink so captivating !! 😂 also, INTJ having an internal melt down for not being prepared enough was hilarious 😂😂 & the savage award goes to ENTJ 😂
Actually, the INTJ is more like we already saw Today's Specials on the sign coming in and don't waste our time prattling on about food we don't want to order.
@@DefLepRadar ah so the annoyed expression is more about '' i don't wanna hear them, please don't waste my time and go get me what i already picked'' 😂
Being an INFP means ordering what you're currently in the mood for and you can't know that ahead of time. Fortunately, I've forced myself to speed up my decision making and, sure it's led to some meal choices I regret but, overall it's less painful than taking forever to decide.
Yes, finally I found a truly relatable comment out of thousands of cliches. For this very reason I've always been a bit difficult with my parents as well, if I don't feel like eating something specific my whole body just declines. One thing I told my mom often "my mouth doesn't want it". And I'm not really being childish it's just that if there isn't harmony between the food in front of me and me it's just not gonna work. Planets have to align.
Haha yeah, the pressure is real when everyone has decided but you 😂 and it's so true that when the waiter comes, I don't remember what I wanted or can't find it in the menu, and also I always have to point it out because they always have weird meal titles that I am embarrassed to say out loud because they are so cheesy 😂😂😂
Ok, for me, an INFP, this is big. I actually worked up the courage to tell the waiter my order was wrong!!! I had been craving the food I ordered and I'm so glad I made sure i got it because it was amazing. Edit: Thank you to all who are congratulating me!
The INFJ one what so accurate, like at first try to be positive and give a good message then, slowly the message sink in and it sounds more negative and sad , then you just laugh it off lol
@@GeekNewz I order the same stuff 90% of the time tbh, I don’t usually go out of my comfort zone,. What if I don’t like it? Waste of money and embarrassing. 😂
@@thek9queen77 whattt nooo i would probably want to try everything and if its a restaurant i never went to before then i would order the unique menus u never know if u never try
@@RR4711 that happened to me at the hairdressers one time. I went in knowing exactly what style and colour I wanted then got told, I couldn't have that colour as my hair still had dye in it from last time and it wouldn't turn out right. I then became this lost sheep as I tried to figure out another colour
I'm an INFJ and I thought I was the only one who does the "taking myself out on a date" thing. So if I ever needed proof that I didn't mistype, then this is it.
as an infj thats a very relatable coping style, i can relate. i usually try to treat myself somehow occasionally so that i was be able to move on tomorrow
INFP: "Oh yeah, I just need a couple more minutes" "I'm so sorry, Uh! I need a couple more minutes" "I'm ready to order now" it means I need to read menu again and takes more minutes 😂 This is so accurate 🤣 It's hard to choose something on the menu and at the end I only order french fries 😂
Dunno. I myself usually decide pretty easily what I want in a restaurant. I know what I like so I just pick that 🤷♀️ Also, I'd feel super uncomfortable if I'd need to make a waiter wait for me to choose 😅
OMG Frank, this really is the most accurate thing I saw in your videos! haha Guess I don't have to take the test again. But I will do it anyway... sometime... 😅😂
You forgot the part where the waiter says "enjoy your meal" and the INFJ says "thanks, you too" then gets so embarrassed they swear to never return to that restaurant.
INTP: I generally eat at home, making my own food. If I have to eat out with a group (family), we generally go to the same places, and I have picked out the cheapest item that I like on the menu, so there's no time spent choosing... If it's a totally new restaurant, or we haven't even chosen where to go, and someone asks me what I want for dinner... either I'll ask them what THEY want, and find something I'd like on their menu, or we'll stand around for a few hours while I decide where I want to go tonight... because I have to consider what I think they'd like to eat too, and not just myself, and if I can afford it, and if they can (if I know enough about their financial situation) and for variety, I consider where I/we've eaten in the past few days, so that helps eliminate some options... and... need I go on?
Best experience I've had is when a wealthy friend took us out and bought half the stuff on the menu. Wish my BFs were like that, I just got a lot thinner than usual thinking about whether I should just eat lettuce to get it over with faster without going broke.
Yeah, it's easier to let someone else chose the place and just order the cheapest thing on the menu. Though, I travelled once with a group that would spend an hour looking at menus outside restaurants before every meal and it was torture. And they would try and get me to tie break but got pissed that I just wanted the soup or salad, so I don't know why they even asked me. And once you waste so much time and money, the food never lives up to expectations. I will never travel with a group again.
Hey Frank, you should do a skit video of the 16 personalities mistyping themselves. I think it’s be funny, and actually maybe a bit insightful on how each type has a different trend towards seeing themselves as a wrong type, or several different kinds of wrong types!
As an INTJ is even more painful having to choose between the options available when they run out of what you already planned on having. And even worse, when the restaurant that has that dish prepared exactly how you know you like it... closes forever.
Or you end up having to move and that restaurant and/or dish is nowhere to be found over there. We are creatures of habits, so to speak, when it comes to our perceiving functions (i.e., ni and se), it seems.
Happened to me a couple of months ago, my favorite restaurant closed, and I haven't even looked at the menu of the new restaurant that opened in their place yet XD
I literally had that idea for taking "Myself out to dinner, as a self-love thing". Instead I've just made it a habit to order pizza on Fridays and have ice cream for desert. It's a self love thing, but also a "forever alone" thing. It would funny if it didn't hurt inside.
im an underage enfp and yesterday i told my grandma about the mbti. she's estj or istj and immediately blew it off, which kinda upset me since this is my only hobby rn. as soon as i started watching your videos i could feel my interest for the mbti re-appear, which is good since i'm making a school presentation about it, and if i dropped the subject that would end badly for my grades. i want to thank you for putting in the effort for making these comedy sketches and the other explanatory videos that really helped me get a grip on the whole mbti concept! again, thank you so much!
The only perk of being a lactose-intolerant, gluten-intolerant vegetarian is it has saved me as an INFP from going through the agony of having to choose what I want to eat at a restaurant.
I kid you not I ate the 3/4 sandwiches at college everyday. Without a change. 😑 I mean it depends on the choices available and whether you can cook or not.
That INFP skit was exactly how I order my food. I take forever and then forget the meal I chose and where it was on the menu every. single. time. It's honestly scary how accurate that was, down to mannerisms and all. Nice work lol
Most of the time I use visual--I pick what looks appetizing or I imagine how the ingredients taste in my head if I am not familiar with the menu but the horror for me is when I have to go alone & don't see anyone familiar especially when it's in a hotel.
As an INFJ I always feel so shy to buy anything and sometimes it's so hard that one day before I keep overthinking about what I will say/do to buy that thing. (Not to mention the stress to check the change)
i'm a teenager and an infj, and i reallyyyy avoid ordering like i just mess up my words and unconsciously stare at the staff :> but my parents let me order anyway :}
I might be a different case. I go straight ahead to order or I'm always the one initiating to my family to buy food because.. I love food..😂 Unless if there's someone I know then hell naah
@@abantikaray1911 ikr! Just the other day I was watching a K9 demonstration, and they asked if anyone had questions. As I said i have a quiet voice so like three times I called over or raised my hand and each time they didn't hear/see me so I just awkwardly stood there as I hoped other people didn't just witness my embarrassment xD
@@abantikaray1911 THIS IS ME. i tried to wave my hand and nobody noticed 😭 my extrovert friend give tips to make eye contact to the waiter before waving. i just motherfkingly stare like samuel L Jackson..
For me is not even the embarrassment, it's just the unnecessary having to talk to someone. I'm not shy, I just like to be left alone and live in peace in my own world
I am an infj but I also look up the menu at home and already know what I wanna order when I am at the restaurant like the Intj. Just did that this last Sunday and talked to my ENFJ friend to discuss what we wanna order in advance before going there. We made up our minds and when we got there we knew right on the spot what to order.
I (ENFP) often look at the dessert menu first and decide what to order. Then, I choose the remaining dishes carefully so that I can eat the dessert without feeling too full. HOWEVER, I always end up ordering too much or eating the dessert first anyway. (So yeah, I do have plans. I just can't follow them. 🤷🤦)
ENFPs have plans, but "the world" keeps getting in our way. If our plans are in gear, there's always a wrench that gets thrown into said gear. This is the true reason why we ENFPs don't make plans.
INTJ here, and yup, I always have the menu memorized before I walk in the door. Hilarious, love this video! And I order for my ENTP husband at least half the time because he can't make up his mind, and I know what he wants and would like to have even better than he does. LOL
As an ISTP I would totally order like that it accounts for the least amount of social interaction throughout the whole meal and I probably did put much thought into it so I didn't have to ask for more time to think.
INFP raised by Te doms here. That kind of lolligagging was not acceptable growing up and I still find it grating! If making a decision efficiently means looking up the menu at home like INTJ, I will. 🤣
Yes, lately I'll start looking at the menu on the way to help the decision. Places that have an option to get two half entrees are my saving grace because I get both, even if I end up taking leftovers home.
I learned most restaurants are either cheap and have chicken strips or are expensive and have salmon. I don't even need to look at a menu and I don't have to deal with indecision. - Shy ENFP.
The role upbringing plays in our MBTI types is fascinating. I'm an INTJ from a very large family with ISFP and INTP parents. If I didn't learn to accept lollygagging, I would be in an insane asylum or prison right now. :D
@@kristae.4363 Wow that sounds rough! I know that having an INFP around is bad enough when it comes to these things... I can't even imagine also being an INTJ...
My ENTP friend likes history a lot too :) it's amazing because I think it happens because..for example INTPs like to see individual relationships and patterns and get at bottom of things, but ENTPs seem to like the relationships on a "collective level"? Because of the extraversion, and it's brilliant
Being an INTJ, I laughed out loud at this. Or ok, I huffed. But it made a sound! I always thought of myself as boring for being so prone to chosing the same thing in each place, but now I've realised it's rational. I can't fire up the brain and put in all that time analysing every variable, so it's better to stick to what I like. When I try to be adventurous, I drive my hubby insane by taking so long. He's more of an _S_P. Yeah, I know...
@@ria0991 Fun is one word for it! 😉 But I agree. It brings a dynamic to our relationship that is very positive. I plan, he acts. I just wish he would at times refrain from acting until I have made plans, instead of asking me for hurried, on the spot solutions when he's done something less thought through...
I'm an ENTJ and this is exactly what I said to my Mother when she writes out shopping list.I've now made her write her list in aisle and food category order.
The INFP is *SPOT ON* !!! I have no idea what I want, do you think I *know* myself?! I wish, lol, I study me every day, but it's a tough subject and I'm my only teacher
Bold of you to assume that INTJ wouldn't go to the same place he always goes, sit silently in the corner he always sits in and get the same thing he always gets.
I would do this if the food was consistently high quality, but I've rarely experienced consistency in tastes and service except for when I was a student and certain coffee and fast food joints had consistency of good flavors and with comfy chairs available in the same spot. I never do this now though because I don't like having my data collected every second. I just liked being a random anon nobody having a chill time in a low-key franchise pondering my studies while doing a little bit of people watching while they didn't notice.
@@j.liddle7580 We don't have these in NZ, but I do have a vintage diner uniform for the role since I have watched every diner scene eva made in your country.
There's a place by my house I get lunch from 3-5 days per week. The food is good, but most importantly, the service is excellent. I refuse to waste my time "mixing it up" by going somewhere I know is just going to piss me off with their incompetence. These people know my order and seem to give me special treatment seeing how much I spend there. I forgot my wallet one day and they were like "just pay tomorrow when you see us." LOL.
This is so accurate! As an ENFP I once went to a wedding skipped dinner and ate 12 scoops of ice cream instead. Even usually when people ask me what time u ate lunch/dinner I just have to go quiet and think "do u guys have fixed times for what u eat and when??"
ISFJ - I immediately felt second-hand guilt/embarrassment for his letting the waiter give all that advice and then not using any of it. I couldn't do that - I'd feel obligated to pick a suggestion. Also, why was INTP's "Look, I'm being antisocial!" wink so attractive! 🥰
Hi, I'm an ISFJ and I felt this too. I always ask the waiter which is better and to make the choice for me, then after that I still stick with the regular or sometimes I go with what he says coz I start feeling guilty. It's a 50:50 thing. 😂😂
@@debbieken5639 I am too, and I also like chicken tenders enough that it's usually my go to, even if I'm recommended something else, unless there's something else I found that I like at that particular restaurant.
Probably because Frank has a good wink. I rarely wink and dislike QR codes because I don't want the world collecting my dinner data. My input and output is no one else's business (unless I am the one getting paid for it 😉)
The whole time I was trying to guess mine & I was like “I would never speak to the waiter that much & I know exactly what I want because I’d look it up/order before hand” so yes INTP is accurate
As an INFP when it comes to ordering, usually my family is the one who does it for me because I don't know what to choose and I'll worry about the food being expensive! 😂😂So the first time I ordered things myself was at my friends birthday party in a hotel and I just ordered fish and chips 🤣🤣 Edit: Oh lord, that was what INFJ ordered. I want an INFJ friend right now this instant!!
I do this too! My siblings always orders what they fancy no matter the price and I'm there like "is this too expensive?" even after they've said you can choose whatever you want
lol my aunt is like the ISFP in this we went into Wendy's and she was asking about calories and fat content and such I'm thinking we're in a fast food restaurant it's all unhealthy lol
As an INFP, let me tell you, eating in public is stressful situation....I imagine that everyone is looking at me even though we INFPs are literally invisible...I till cringe in the middle of the night (as that is what we INFPs do at 3 am if aren't crying) when I remember that time I ordered a steak sandwich that had waay too much sauce, and meat that was tough and cut in big strips....so I had sauce dripping down my fingers, and the steak ended up dangling out of my mouth since the strips were so big and I couldn't bite them in half...it was a living nightmare!
Well, i'll take my steak medium well, and I don't drink but bacon for dessert sounds amazing. I think the point of ISTP though is that we know what we wanted before we even entered the restaurant.
I love trying to guess FJ's impression type right before it hits the screen... the easiest ones are ALWAYS INTP, ISTP, and ENTP - I am a very social INTP (it's real, I promise), so as much as the embarrassing INTP impressions ring true with me they also bring that same sense of disgust and shame you get when you look at your middle school pictures.. also, ENTP is easy for me to spot not only because FJ is amazing at reconstructing, but as an INTP, being an ENTP is literally a six-pack away lolz
Same for me, I'm pretty social INTP myself. I guess it's because I grew up in a crowded houshold, full of extroverts (16 ppl) and because I'm already 31. I really wish Frank get together with some random INTP girl so he'll finally get a better grip of what INTPs are like ^^
As an ISTJ, I'm not a cheapskate especially when it comes to food. My grandma said, "you can't eat money but with money, you can buy food. If you want to eat something, just buy it." Though, I look at my budget first because I need money for something else too. 😂
as an intp, you made me realize that once i live on my own, i actually probably will never step foot in a real restaurant... unless it has a qr code and mobile ordering 👀
As an INTJ, I frequent the same restaurants and generally order the same thing, so they know me by my order. At new restaurants, I order the safest thing. If you do well on that, the next time I'll order the next complicated thing on the list until I trust your cooking enough to explore the menu. If you fail, I will never return. Things I loathe at restaurants: Small talk, including the telling me about specialty items NOT on the menu. Switching waiters or having someone different serve me other than whoever took my order Messing up my order after I make specific changes Not being able to choose where I sit Having to "find" my waiter to refill my glass, so that I have to talk to another waiter
Love it ☺️ Yeah, dessert before everything else... Nothing's worse than being too full to have dessert! - ENFP But also totally identified with the INFP. It's such a treat for waiters when I go out with my INFP friends. 😂
As an ENTJ I confirm that I have done that. They looked annoyed and intimidated when i noticed and gave them a glare. (more like I stared back coz why not. I am always ready for a stare contest.)
*internal blabbering* hmm what should I order? Should I order the burger? Oh but then I would be harming animals I don’t wanna do that! Oooh nachos sound good but oh so do quesadillas! But there’s also- Waiter: Are you ready to order? Me: 20 more minutes, please. -INFJ
Me at every single restaurant I visit… I really thought the INFP one was for INFJ because that’s me 100% even at fast food places I go to literally all the time.
This is so true, i’m an INTJ and did some research about the drinks in starbucks two days before actually going there and memorized how I was supposed to order and what I should order
Yup, INTJ here. I always read the menu online if it's a restaurant I've never been to before, and then have an internal meltdown because the online menu didn't mention that the meal came with a soup or salad and NOW I HAVE TO HURRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT SOUP I WANT WHILE THE WAITER IS STARING AT ME-
INFPs brain: aaahhhh soo many options I can't decide... wait, no this one, no this one.. what is my favorite? Ugh I forgot.. *anxiety creeps up...* *and eventually becomes the reason for depression* Same goes on in the morning when I can't decide how I want my eggs cooked (or boiled) 😩
I am an INFP and this is WAY too accurate 😂 Since so many are sharing helpful tips about how to order faster, I'll offer a couple on how to remember one! Once I do finally find something to eat, I'll keep the menu open to that page (if it's multipage) and keep my finger on it or put something on it to keep my place. This way if I get distracted or awkward, I can look down and the dish will be pointed out to me.🙃
Haha god the INFP one is so accurate, especially constantly asking for more time to order. Whenever I'm eating out with a group, when they all are ready to order, I always have to just order on a whim so I don't slow everything down.
@@GeekNewz True. INTJs tend to have family issues due to their high individualism and lack of emotional intelligence. Being one myself, if I had to choose someplace out, it definitely won't be crowded with a lot of people. It would be like some secret restaurant with little to no customers.
0:44 I don't do the 'reading the menu before arriving' thing, but if someone introduces any new items when I'm ready to order I flip my sh*t internally - infj
Reminds me of something I heard from what I hear is a male ENFP: "...I'm a grown man. I suffered 18 years of my life so I can have ice cream for breakfast"
ESFJ. My mom is one and I swear everywhewre we go, no matter where or when, if she finds someone she knows, she'll be asking for all the data she seems to recollect because she just *cares so much* LOL xD Me, an INFP, needing *TIME* to read everything and choose what I like, then regreting it 'cause it's probably not healthy, then realizing "why not, it's just a day", then debating myself until someone comes and I feel P r E s U R e D and then droping the whole process and asking for the same thing I'm confident I'll like anyway. Yeah, I'm never relaxed, always stressed like that :'v PD: I have to go out more with ENTPs, it's so obvious to me now.
My husband is an INTP and he related more to the ENFP more. He always asks for the dessert menu first. Always. 🤣 As an INFP, it felt way too spot on. Lol. Every time I do figure out what I want, and the waiter comes back around to ask, my mind always goes blank and I need to find it again and point it out for them. Which is why I always keep one of my fingers right next to what I want.
I resonate with the ENFP more here not my type (INFP), I love to go straight to the desserts sometimes. Or eat breakfast for lunch or the opposite (most of the time) because I can and will eat whatever I feel like at the moment.😅😅
That's so funny bc I'm an ENFP yet his INFP here was me to a T! Like legit I take forever to order and get super overwhelmed by the options and can never decide haha. So essentially it takes me like 20 mins to order with quite a few embarrassing "I'm not ready yet!" "Can you give us 5 more mins?" thrown in there where I apologise profusely and try to crack bad jokes to get on the waiter's good side lol. (Especially cuz I used to work in service, so I can relate to the annoying-ness of a customer taking forever. And I end up feeling bad for whoever I'm with as well, since they're usually ready to order at that point. So overall I'm just a pain to order w at restaurants haha.) But I guess INFP and ENFP are just the intro/extro version of each other, so it's not surprising that they could occasionally be interchangeable in his skits :) It's not like MBTI is an exact science, anyway.
Came across this yesterday in Adam Grant's new book, THINK AGAIN (Viking, 2021): "In psychology, I've inadvertently offended members of the idea cults when I've shared evidence that mediation isn't the only way to prevent stress or promote mindfulness; that when it comes to reliability and validity, the Myers-Briggs personality tool falls somewhere between a horoscope and heart monitor;...." Love all the videos - fascinating to see your growth over the past few years!
This was so accurate, my cousin is an ISTJ and that is her to a T! I'm an an INFJ and sadly that hit home 😅 though most times I feel awkward sitting in the restaurant myself so I'll just order it to go

i'm an INFP and I kinda developed a way to choose faster, I just look around and see what my friends or my husband ordered and If I like it, I choose it too... or I just make little changes based on that.
♥ uwu
Your husband sounds sweet! Hope to find me a man someday who will help me to handle situations like that instead of teasing like some may do 😁
I just never look at the menu and choose mozzarella sticks with mashed potatoes and if they dont have one of those or somebody mentions a different food I want then I just have a mental breakdown lol
Yeaa I repeat the same order as my friend's order anytime we ate at new restaurant, and keep ordering the same menu for like forever (with little change here and that)
I even only ate chicken rice bowl at the place called "Steak house" since my friend previously ordered that 😂

Being an INFP means ordering what you're currently in the mood for and you can't know that ahead of time. Fortunately, I've forced myself to speed up my decision making and, sure it's led to some meal choices I regret but, overall it's less painful than taking forever to decide.

Go on haters…

The INTP looked super cute and confident in this one.
As an INTJ is even more painful having to choose between the options available when they run out of what you already planned on having.
And even worse, when the restaurant that has that dish prepared exactly how you know you like it... closes forever.
Ooh, I feel this pain 💙
I would probably leave if I feel pushed and make my dinner on my own instead
Or you end up having to move and that restaurant and/or dish is nowhere to be found over there. We are creatures of habits, so to speak, when it comes to our perceiving functions (i.e., ni and se), it seems.
Happened to me a couple of months ago, my favorite restaurant closed, and I haven't even looked at the menu of the new restaurant that opened in their place yet XD

What would each type order for dinner?
I (ENFP) often look at the dessert menu first and decide what to order. Then, I choose the remaining dishes carefully so that I can eat the dessert without feeling too full. HOWEVER, I always end up ordering too much or eating the dessert first anyway. (So yeah, I do have plans. I just can't follow them. 🤷🤦)

Things I loathe at restaurants:
Small talk, including the telling me about specialty items NOT on the menu.
Switching waiters or having someone different serve me other than whoever took my order
Messing up my order after I make specific changes
Not being able to choose where I sit
Having to "find" my waiter to refill my glass, so that I have to talk to another waiter
This video is crazy. I’m an ENFP ordering dessert before the main course all the time! So that I can order dessert again😆💖.
Frank James didn't have to bother to learn the script this time. It really served him well
I get the reference😂
Love it ☺️ Yeah, dessert before everything else... Nothing's worse than being too full to have dessert! - ENFP
But also totally identified with the INFP. It's such a treat for waiters when I go out with my INFP friends. 😂
As an ENTJ I confirm that I have done that. They looked annoyed and intimidated when i noticed and gave them a glare. (more like I stared back coz why not. I am always ready for a stare contest.)
ENTJ are funny ^^
oh yes stare contests are my fav thing haha
I'd be lying if I said that confrontation isn't one of my favourite games as an entj..
Me, an outgoing INFP: And this is why I overprepare so I can tell the waiter what I want like it’s my theatre script
*internal blabbering*
hmm what should I order? Should I order the burger? Oh but then I would be harming animals I don’t wanna do that! Oooh nachos sound good but oh so do quesadillas! But there’s also-
Waiter: Are you ready to order?
Me: 20 more minutes, please.
-INFJ
Me at every single restaurant I visit… I really thought the INFP one was for INFJ because that’s me 100% even at fast food places I go to literally all the time.
@@BananaGrace same! 😂 I always think I might be INFP but then I’m like 90% J and I relate to INFJ most of the time anyway
Now imagine ENFP next to you speaking out externally exactly this
This is so true, i’m an INTJ and did some research about the drinks in starbucks two days before actually going there and memorized how I was supposed to order and what I should order
"I'll have the technology stock, thank you" I had to pause the video to laugh
Yup, INTJ here. I always read the menu online if it's a restaurant I've never been to before, and then have an internal meltdown because the online menu didn't mention that the meal came with a soup or salad and NOW I HAVE TO HURRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT SOUP I WANT WHILE THE WAITER IS STARING AT ME-
your so adorable. i love the INTP style. bypassing all the social stuff effectively. so good!
I really like how there's always some awkward silence at every infj situation. It really represents me so well. 😃🔫
100% me too! I aim to be assertive but awkwardness always creeps in somehow 😆
As an ISTJ, I have been well-equipped with discounts and offers while ordering food.
INFPs brain: aaahhhh soo many options I can't decide... wait, no this one, no this one.. what is my favorite? Ugh I forgot..
*anxiety creeps up...*
*and eventually becomes the reason for depression*
Same goes on in the morning when I can't decide how I want my eggs cooked (or boiled) 😩
@ᗩᒪIYᗩᕼ well, thanks...I guess
same with the eggs in the morning! lol
This way if I get distracted or awkward, I can look down and the dish will be pointed out to me.🙃
Hilarious! The ESTP mis-speaking was so funny.
Haha god the INFP one is so accurate, especially constantly asking for more time to order. Whenever I'm eating out with a group, when they all are ready to order, I always have to just order on a whim so I don't slow everything down.
INFP: Am I even at the right restaurant?
Totally me. Overthinking even a restaurant menu.
Feeling the INFJ one a lot 😅 and now I really fancy fish and chips, sat on a bench by the sea.
Wait a minute, you actually go outside? WHY WOULD YOU WILLINGLY DO THAT?
- your (not so) local INTJ
it can be because staying at home with said intj's family is worst for them
@@GeekNewz fair point
@@GeekNewz True. INTJs tend to have family issues due to their high individualism and lack of emotional intelligence. Being one myself, if I had to choose someplace out, it definitely won't be crowded with a lot of people. It would be like some secret restaurant with little to no customers.
@@cloteasnugy7617 actually I'm an intj and I gave this explanation from my own life, it is actually good to hear that it is more common then I thought
0:44 I don't do the 'reading the menu before arriving' thing, but if someone introduces any new items when I'm ready to order I flip my sh*t internally - infj
Sometimes we just want dessert, darn it! This ENFP sends his regards.
I would totally go out to a late dinner with an ENFP but not as a "date"
Reminds me of something I heard from what I hear is a male ENFP:
"...I'm a grown man. I suffered 18 years of my life so I can have ice cream for breakfast"
@@HandleDisliker This is the kind of excuse I would make to get to the good stuff first
@@louisejoel Dinner doesn't always equate to a date, no matter how late you ate.
ESFJ. My mom is one and I swear everywhewre we go, no matter where or when, if she finds someone she knows, she'll be asking for all the data she seems to recollect because she just *cares so much* LOL xD
Me, an INFP, needing *TIME* to read everything and choose what I like, then regreting it 'cause it's probably not healthy, then realizing "why not, it's just a day", then debating myself until someone comes and I feel P r E s U R e D and then droping the whole process and asking for the same thing I'm confident I'll like anyway. Yeah, I'm never relaxed, always stressed like that :'v
PD: I have to go out more with ENTPs, it's so obvious to me now.
My husband is an INTP and he related more to the ENFP more. He always asks for the dessert menu first. Always. 🤣
As an INFP, it felt way too spot on. Lol. Every time I do figure out what I want, and the waiter comes back around to ask, my mind always goes blank and I need to find it again and point it out for them. Which is why I always keep one of my fingers right next to what I want.
I'm ENTP but I relate more with the ENFP ordering before the dessert 😅
INTP x INFP, you say?
Sounds like a good pair. ;-)
Also, when you get to a certain age delayed gratification is a bore
@@poemlover12 affogato, crème brûlée, sencha ice cream and chocolate mousse
As an INTJ yes I would read the menu at home but then decide to stay home.
Raising a glass to cheap dates everywhere 🥂😁
This was so accurate, my cousin is an ISTJ and that is her to a T! I'm an an INFJ and sadly that hit home 😅 though most times I feel awkward sitting in the restaurant myself so I'll just order it to go
