Probably wasn't embarrassed. They always think their right so they don't get embarrassed. I do hope that she thinks about what he said about it being white supremacy to say that. It was the first time that I have ever heard that explained. I get it when I think about it. But, how did (and do now) blacks still call Obama black. Does that "rule" of white supremacy only apply to whites calling him black? This is a serious question I hope to have answered. I grew up and still live in mostly white community and I don't have an idea what black culture is about. Just like the issue I was discussing here. I mean. Are there any books written by blacks to white people that explain any of these culture issues? Because if there are I want to read them. I do not want to be a white supremacist. And being honest, I’ve never thought about race enough to think that through. I just see people. Thank you Brandon and Van for this video.

My son, mixed, came home many times in elementary school crying because he was "too white for the black kids and too black for the white kids." Broke my heart over and over. He was just a gem to me. I told him, and he finally figured out how, "just be you and everyone will flock to you because you're the best kid ever." Little biased maybe, but it helped him out so much to just be who he was.

I hope you recognized that was going to be an issue before you found out the hard way.
In the end… it’ll work in his favor if you don’t let him build a resentment towards both sides but it will keep him from clanning up and force him to become independent minded
By in large, we were just about past the worst of the racism, then the liberal leftists rekindled it because they want us divided and they don’t care down what lines.
Apparently, they don’t know how ugly it used to be… or maybe they just don’t care.
Our current president is as racist as LBJ was but for some reason, everybody has given him a pass and conveniently forgotten.

About 25 years ago a little mixed boy around 6 or 7 years old lived down the road from my dad. As a pastor my dad was visiting the child's parents when he came in from school. He told his mom the boys on the bus called him some things I'll not repeat. My dad took the child on his lap in an attempt to console him. All the children in their country community just called my dad Uncle Joe. The little boy smiled at my dad and said "It's alright Uncle Joe. Skin ain't nothing but something God wrapped around us to keep our insides from falling out." I've used that little boy words of wisdom many times since then. He's a man now with little boys and girls of his own. But to me he'll always be one of the smartest children I ever met. When I get in a tight spot and just before giving up I remember all I need is the strength, courage and wisdom of a little child to get me through the tough times.
"And a little child shall lead them."

It has nothing to do with him being black. First and foremost disagreeing with the liberal cult trumps the color of your skin or your sexual orientation or anything else that would normally give them cause to automatically assume you're on their side because of those shallow, base characteristics that I was raised to believe do not define who we are as human beings. It all goes out the window if you don't parrot their lunacy or dare to challenge it with facts and common sense. They hate black conservatives so much. They hate more than anyone I've ever seen if you don't agree with them. They get emotional, angry and seldom supply facts. It's all about feelings and reality and facts don't give a shit about your feelings. Also, why the fuck are so many white women crusading on behalf of other people who are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves? They come across to me like they think they're helping people who aren't capable of making their own decisions or succeeding on their own and I don't see how thats not patronizing AF to everyone they try to speak for or in defense of.

As a biracial "child" THANK YOU! We are BOTH and we shouldn't be made to feel ashamed of either side! Or feel less than because either side thinks they have some moral superiority, especially when their "morality" is so lacking that they feel superior by making their own family members feel less-than simply because of the "accident" of their birth.

Most importantly, we impress upon them that we're all American and that that's what culture we live in -- our ancestors came from (or were here already in some cases) different countries, but we are American. Hyper focussing on race divides. We must unite. We do that by embracing one another in a unified American culture.

@etchalaco9971 BTW Lincoln actually said he wanted the states to united and far as slavery he said (please look for yourself) he had no real feelings about it and if he could unite the country with slavery he would or without he would so basically he said it didn't matter which way it went as long as the majority was happy. Lincoln abolished slavery because it was a strategic move and it paid off and TRUST me these benefits we are getting in the urban community is to keep us in control with false sense of security. Yes no more "plantations " because they are now called "projects " and the government has become the fathers to these kids because the government pays for the food, housing, and utility bills so no need for the earthly biological father because the government has filled the role and idc who you are you have to agree single parent homes without a father greatly increases the likelihood the child will go to prison or less likely to get a higher education. So if that's being progressive means than I am good. I rather be the Black looking family with 75% both parents raising their children than this 17% that shifted in the 1960's. When there were "organized " protests in solidarity and peaceful and not this burning down stores and looting....which is crazy because we are destroying the stores and businesses in our OWN communities which is so backwards. Sorry this is not the place for this but I had to share my feelings and I love all regardless of your political background because we are HUMANS and AMERICANS before we are political parties and enemies.

However, everyone always calls me Mexican just because I’m brown. I think it’s pretty cool to get away from that, especially since most mixed race people are “identifying” as the minority race of their bloodline due to social conditioning. My little cousin is biracial. My mother and step-father raised him most of his life, so he was like a brother to me. The thing I noticed that bothered him the most about being biracial, was him feeling that he was unwanted by either race. He never knew his father (or that side of his family), so he had a hard time identifying as "black", yet everyone wanted to classify him as such. I feel so blessed to have had other family/friends he could talk to throughout his youth who were bi(and tri-) racial as well. We don't understand the damage we do negating a child's ethnicity/lineage. For them, it feels like you're negating THEM. They are blessed to be both.

I didn't like that but now I'm older I completely agree plus there is such a high rate of schizophrenia with mixed race people too. (Half black half white). @@leestirling4623- I do not believe anyone wants to do anything like that to their children.
What happens is that society, other parents, and the media perpetrate this horrible belief that a bi-racial child doesn’t ‘belong’.

It's ppl with just 1 grandparent directly from a yt shade person and that person will have 20-30% European but in America they African American box again. Blk just means light skin or darker which is how I and most MGM ppl use it, but I find it very hypocritical from Americans and pro blk/pan Africans when some of them MGM and against interracial (which is a social construct) and them being a quarter ➕ something other than African from recent mixed ancestry.

I loved being told that my parents lied & I was adopted because my brown, olive-skinned Mom couldn’t have possibly given birth to me. Racism issues aside, the real problems are always rude people, ignorant people who thing they already know everything, & people who can’t just agree to disagree agreeably. It’s always about respect even if it’s obviously about racism, sexism, & classism, which is why age & wisdom has taught me that using the Judeo-Christian rules for treating other people is the only positive system to fix our problems; it doesn’t pit one group against the other but seeks to make sure all humans as individuals & as groups are treated with dignity, respect, & the love of God for all of his beloved children.

This idea needs to be more blatantly obvious if we can ever win against them.
Another way they've tricked us with movies and such, is that they show evil as stupid and easy to recognize. It isn't, and in thinking this way, we are easily duped. As a white woman, I've wondered why when someone was biracial especially having one white parent and one black, why they and others automatically said that person was black. I never expressed it or asked because I didn't want to offend anyone, but I thought the exact same thing -- What about their white parent and white family. I felt like the child was just taught to ingore their whiteness and their white family as if it were a disease. I've had biracial friends, but never asked because it seemed inappropriate to ask. It made me sad because it takes both parents to create the child (and I 'm sure both parents love their children equally), but socially the biracial children are pressured to acknowledge only their blackness. I had no idea about the one drop rule. That's ridiculous. Why can't we all just be human beings who celebrate are cultures amicabl. We need to learn appreciation of cultural differences without trying to force our will or culture onto others.
