Seriously thank you for the video. I am just now starting to do some research in this style of travel and your video makes me more confident about the safety side of traveling alone.
I’ve done 2 gadventures tours so far. I did the Bangkok to Singapore on a shoestring tour which was amazing, the only thing I’d recommend to anyone doing it is book an extra day in Bangkok and Singapore because there’s so much to do in both cities. I also did the hongkong to beijing on a shoestring which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit China, you get to see so many things in the 2 weeks. And I’m so glad I did it as a tour because I think China would have been difficult to get round alone.
I'm quite late, but this video was greatly helpful! I'm preparing for my first G Adventure trip in late September, where I'll be spending a month in Europe. It'll be my first time leaving my home country, so I'm definitely nervous, but this video really eased my nerves! Thank you!
Thanks for the Video ! I'm trying to decide between Turkey winter tour or Spain, Portucgel & Morocco- I wonder what you wish you'd brought with you and what did you think (but didn't) need? Love to know if you and your partner ever made it to your next adventure.
I did the 18-thirty somethings tour & most people were in their early to mid-twenties. There are also ‘classic’ tours which are for people 39+ which look incredible 🙌🏻
I’ve done classic tours as someone who was 22 then when I was 26, both times I was the youngest person there and everyone else was 30s, 40s, 50, and 60s there were people of various ages so you won’t feel out of place if you do a classic ones!
Thank you for providing such a detailed review of your experience! This definitely does relieve some reservations I’ve had. Can you let me know how the “basic” accommodations go? Are you rooming with the same people? Any safety concerns with your belongings?
The 'basic' accommodation were mainly hotels with a few hostels on my NZ tour. I would tend to room with the same people all the way through my tour and I never had any safety concerns with my belongings :)
We were taken to the optional activities & didn't have to pay to get there but I imagine was included in the total cost of the activity if an external company was involved :)
Thanks for the great information! I am interested in a trip, as I've never done this before. Was your trip more relaxing verses adventurous? I am trying to determine if I can get a little bit of both.
Hello miss, i have a question about your recent tour, Uruguay Argentina and Brazil. Did you have to book your own flights in order to arrive south America and leave South America?
What about the other people in our group Where they much older or like the same age cause I‘m 18 and want to travel in a group but in my age like 18-25 or sth like that
Hi. I think about GAdventures cause I would like to travel with International ppl not just germans 😂❤ But I am not a "Party Woman". May I will find something good.
Heyy, love your video!! I am just starting to look into these kind of travels, tho the only thing i am wondering. Do you need to book your own flight to the start location? And how much shiuld someone bring for all the opt activities?
Was there alot of partying and drinking? I'm not the partying and drinking type and Ive heard that these group adventures tours can get a little crazy.
I’ve been looking into the trips from nat geo - with adventure g. Looks like a lot of fun! Did you go solo? Or with someone? Would you also say bringing a camera on trips would be viable (water / it getting stolen) being that you travel around with a backpack on most trips?
Hey! All my tours were so much fun and I had the best time! I went solo but made so many friends who I still keep in contact with today. Yes definitely viable to bring a camera and I'd highly recommend doing so!
@@OneGlobe360 awesome thanks, yeah I’ve been looking around for videos you’re like the only review of them. Yeah I was worried about the bag situation it seems like there’s a lot of moving around so gotta back light or action stuff like zip lining I don’t wanna get robbed Guess that’s the New Yorker in me haha
@OneGlobe 360 Do you find that a lot of the people on these tours are solo travelers? Or do most come with a friend? I’m looking into doing the 21 day New Zealand tour by myself
I personally did all the tours by myself but there were people who came with their friends and partners etc - on my NZ tour it was mainly people who were solo travellers 😊
Wow.. amazing adventures you have done.. if I could ask, We have done just 1 G trip that being Costa Rica and accomodations were rated "Standard" and they were fine.. we are well past the camping/hostel days.. what was the accommodation like for the 3 week New Zealand trip ? (the list it as "basic"). Thanks
Hey! Thanks so much for your comment! The accommodation on my New Zealand tour was really good - we mainly stayed in hostels but they were of a really good quality. Hope this helps 😊
Hiya, amazing video! I was wondering if the accommodation/ travelling to different destinations (bus/boat etc) are included in the original price? I’m looking to travel south east Asia x
Hey! Thank you so much, I’m really glad you enjoyed the video! In my south east Asia tour the accommodation and travelling to different destinations was all included in the original price. Hope that helps 😊
hi there! Thanks so much for this review!! Ive never done this kind of organised trip before but super excited of the idea of getting a well planned tripped and being in a group of people to socialise with. Sadly... these are covid days. How is the situation then? Does one get a refund if thigs dont work out (like lockdowns etc?) I am fully vaccinated
Hey! Unfortunately I’m not too sure of the current situation with COVID but I’d recommend checking out the G Adventures website to see what they say on their website 😊

On the day of departure, is there transportation offered and a specific airport to arrive and depart from?
What was the accommodation like in india?

Hey thanks for the review ! I plan to go to Vietnam/Thailand with a group tour. I would like to know how the rooms were clean, safe …?:)
Yes very clean and safe!
I just booked G Adventures with Bhutan. I am glad your tours was a success...qhich means my will be as well
Have a great time!!
Were most of the travelers on G Adventures in their 20's? I'm in my 40's and I'm curious if I would be a fish out of water in the group.

You can pay an additional fee to have your own room. I'm opting for this on my India tour at a rate of an additional $28/day.
Did you have to pay for your own transport or get there on your own for the optional activities ?
We were taken to the optional activities & didn't have to pay to get there but I imagine was included in the total cost of the activity if an external company was involved :)

G Adventures have some tours that are 18 to thirty somethings.
I'm planning a trip around the world with gadventures I'm so excited
Have the best time!!!
I'm leaving on a GAdventures tour of India this week. Tell me more about the hot air balloon experience. Was it worth it? Safety? Thank you!!
It was incredible!! I'd highly recommend it and I felt very safe :)
Saw their ad on tv just now.
This video is really helpful to put a picture in my head of how the tours will be. Does the tours included lunch, dinner, and meals?
I’m really glad you found it helpful! The tours include some meals & you can find all the information regarding meals on the G Adventures website :)

Hey! Thanks so much! Yes I booked my own flights to the start and from the end location :)
Great video, thank you!! What type of luggage did you take with you for a 2-week travel?
Hey! I took a 'typical' backpack - perfect for G Adventures trips :)
Was there alot of partying and drinking? I'm not the partying and drinking type and Ive heard that these group adventures tours can get a little crazy.
Hey! There was some partying on all the tours but absolutely no pressure at all to do that. There were people who did and people who didn’t 😊
@@OneGlobe360 thank you
Great review, did G Adventures cover your transportation i.e flights for you?
Thank you so much! No they didn’t cover the cost of my flights 😊
Do all G adventures include accommodation by default?
I believe so yes but I’m not 100% sure
I want to travel right now so bad

I’m thinking of doing the best of Egypt tour by myself. I’m 22, can I ask what the average age was on your tours?
I would say mid-twenties :)
Thinking the same too. Have you made that trip to Egypt yet, @aimeedwards7466
I am booked in for November!
