    I'm sorry but Qui-Gon doesn't represent the old order. He represents the TRUE order. What the Jedi should have been. There's a very good reason Qui-Gon was the first to learn force ghosting

    • @littlechickeyhudak
      @littlechickeyhudak 4 ปีที่แล้ว +136

      exactly! I super disagree with this video's interpretation. Qui-Gon was very connected to the force but he mostly rejected the strict dogma of the order. If he had survived and trained Anakin the whole thing could have been avoided because Anakin would have had someone he could safely confide in without being berated for not following the Jedi Code. In TPM for the brief time they were together Qui-Gon acted as a sort of father figure

    One small detail I noticed after watching the film you didn't cover here: a blaster bolt is deflected by Qui-Gon into the thruster of an N1 in the background with specific detail on the explosion. This is the same N1 Ani gets into later (confirmed by framing of the fuel tanks in both scenes) and why his starfighter overheats in battle. N1s have heat sinks along the thruster finials, so these would have been damaged by the deflected blaster bolt.
