The most convenient and comfortable way to travel between Warsaw and Budapest is to catch the direct night train, the "Chopin". This train carries have 2nd class seats, couchettes, and sleeping cars with 1-, 2- or 3- person standard compartments. Sleeping cars have individual beds, along with a wash basin and room for luggage. You can book just one bed in a Double or Triple, but compartments are gender-specific unless you book the entire compartment. The price includes pillow, bedding and blanket. The car attendant can provide complimentary morning coffee/tea and a snack. Couchettes can be booked in compartments with 4 or 6 beds. Couchette compartments are always mixed-sex. The price includes pillow, bedding and blanket.
