I still cannot believe Dara actually, FINALLY, is on the show. My brother and I became fans of his from Mock the Week and his stand-up shows during the 2000s, and remain so to this day. This is already my most anticipated series of the show so far

Dara is a big brain boffin and sharp as a tack but we've seen in the past that doesn't always mean they've done well aha, will be interesting to see if he'll cave on to Greg or if he'll stand his ground as a former show host

What? Are the interview questions ever related to anything in the tasks? I think not. Either I have been missing something very obvious from all the previous seasons or you don't know that interview task has just (not really) random questions just to communicate the general vibe of the contestants.

I don’t think Dara will be as lazy as David was sometimes; I can see him getting fixated on a terrible idea but if there’s another task like Make A Dramatic Entrance, I think he’ll go all in rather than losing commitment partway through

She went right into my "dream 5", and now getting her so soon after that, AND getting my most wishful player ever in Dara... this one's been a hard wait I know that people are making the Dara/VCM comparison because of the high intelligence, and I kinda have a bit more faith in Dara scoring better because, I'm sorry but he just seems vastly better at improvving and adapting to things on the fly that Victoria is. Of course he could still totally crash and burn, but I doubt he'll be this surprise repeat of VCM
There's the end of a show, talks funny in London iirc, which he takes it off to reveal colourful ruffled sleeves for his '2012 movie' bit as the show was ending before the encore Oh which by the way he had to wear under a suit for a full 1hr 30 minute show

The task is to pop the most popcorn. you have 5 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to pop the popcorn. each kernel poped is a point. each unpoped kernel that is placed in the finishing ball is -5 points. edit: bonus points for best flavor.

I have the some problem as Dara, if I’m not asleep by 11 pm I’m up until 3 am. I also, like Dara, have a physics degree, so clearly that’s connected based on these 2 data points (like Dara I was also a shit physicist).

I really enjoy these pre-show interviews things, and I wish they did them for the earlier series - the cast from series 6 would have been brilliant!
It’s entirely possible that they did, but we just didn’t see them yet. They did it for season 1 after all, and I only saw those just recently
