Hi Christina, what a brilliant tutorial, I needed to know how those boxes were made and you have come to my rescue, bless you. They look so pretty made in the patterned papers too. Well have fun in sun, stay safe and thank you for sharing. Big Hugs Jan xxx
Hi Christina....I love your cards and also the tutorial for the envelopes....I too have the Martha score board and had tucked the little triangle piece away. I just made it following your easy to follow tutorial. Thanks so much for sharing this....Favorites time :) :)
Hi Christina, I come to you via Debra Rogers. I love your very well explained tutorial. Thx for showing 2 different dimensions. Just great & oh yes gorgeous papers! I subbed to you & look forward to more inspirational ideas. Janice
Hi Christina....just wanted to thank you for this tutorial.....I have to make 4 boxes and I just did the first one and it is fabulous.....AND EASY....thanks so much, hugs, Sharon :)
Bona, gave you a shout out and linked your envelope tutorial. Thanks a bunch, it was so easy to follow. Your cards are beautiful, do you have any tutorials on how you make them??? Cheers!!!
Hi Christina! This was a great tutorial. Very easy to understand. I was wondering can you mail these just like they are??? I am sure postage would be a bit more, but would I have to put it in another like bubble envie or mail it just like you have made here? Tfs! Terri
Those look great Christina, I don't think I could part with the little spool girls they are sooo cute they turned out wonderful best wishes my sweet ;0) Xx Maureen
Great Tutorial and what a beautiful card and envelope box. The recipient is very lucky. How do you even begin to determine the dimensions you will need for various sizes of cards?
I do a lot of bulky cards and never can get the envelopes just right. Thank you for this video. I learned a lot. Do you have the measurements for a card that is 5x7?
No not a stupid question at all. When I first started out crafting and did not have a scoreboard I used a ruler instead! I did have a bone folder so that was handy.
yes, just measure both corners of the paper with the score line measurements and then use a ruler to score with your bone folder. do this on all sides....
Thanks for your reply Christina ... I just now figured out how to find TH-cam notifications! I figured it was time my craftroom had the right tool for the right project, so I looked into different types of envelope scoring tools. I am so excited about the "new-to-me" 123 Punch Board. The best part is that Michael's had a 1-day 50% off coupon today and I got it at half price! hooray! Thanks again Christina for your response. Happy Crafting! :D
Thank You so much, Fir doing this tutorial , i'mm going to try it out in the morning , you make things look so easy, and u appreciate your help so much, Thank You Thank you, will PM you also in the morning TFS A'nna
Oh I wouldn't mail it naked!! I would definitely put in in another envelope. Not the pretty patterned paper ones anyway. I have made them with plain brown heavy card stock and mailed them as is with no problem. And yes postage is a bit more. tfw! xoxo
Yes it is more expensive to mail this way. Alot of demensional cards and coordinating box envelopes I make are hand delivered. Or I put this type of card/box in another box if I'm mailing out a parcel.

Fantastic! TFS! Shonda
Great Tutorial and what a beautiful card and envelope box. The recipient is very lucky. How do you even begin to determine the dimensions you will need for various sizes of cards?
Thank you so much for this video. Most videos were showing the 1/4 inch and that really didn't fit a lot of more embellished cards.
You can't mail these like a regular envelope can you. I love the boxes they are beautiful.
Carol
Hello I just came across your channel. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba. I am a papercrafter. I am looking forward to seeing your projects
Awesome! Thank you!
I do a lot of bulky cards and never can get the envelopes just right. Thank you for this video. I learned a lot. Do you have the measurements for a card that is 5x7?
great tutorial....I think I can do that....I just need to get the envelope board!!
Did you get the envelope board yet?? ♥♥♥
Awesome!! tfw!
Hi :) Stupid Question ? What if you don't have a scoreboard with the envelope measurement thing?
No not a stupid question at all. When I first started out crafting and did not have a scoreboard I used a ruler instead! I did have a bone folder so that was handy.
Thank you Christina, much appreciated. I do have a scoreboard, just not the additional little part for envelopes ~Karin~
Thank you for sharing. Ive been moaning for ages that i haven't got envelopes for my 3d cards....now i have :o)
Christina, is it possible to make one of these w/o the special tool you use that lines up the corners?
yes, just measure both corners of the paper with the score line measurements and then use a ruler to score with your bone folder. do this on all sides....
Thanks for your reply Christina ... I just now figured out how to find TH-cam notifications!

Can you make a box for a 6.5x 6.5 and a 7x7 card? will it be possible with one sheet of paper?
You can use a stylis to score with. It works better.
Oh I wouldn't mail it naked!! I would definitely put in in another envelope. Not the pretty patterned paper ones anyway. I have made them with plain brown heavy card stock and mailed them as is with no problem. And yes postage is a bit more. tfw! xoxo
New subbie and I think this tut was adorable. TFS. Hugz~Lynda

Great tutorial Christina! Thank you! =D Janet No beach for me, it would hurt my BIG Boo Boo! =D
But what about mailing them. I made one bigger and they wants $8.00 to mail it in the same state. I love the look of your cards, beautiful.
Yes it is more expensive to mail this way. Alot of demensional cards and coordinating box envelopes I make are hand delivered. Or I put this type of card/box in another box if I'm mailing out a parcel.
I never really got to see what you did with the flaps.
