MERCI Your vidéo is very easy to follow . I have printed the tutorial from your blog. I often make my cards too thick in an envelope. These envelope boxes are my savior. THANK YOU Yolande
Hi Sam, I'm new to card crafting. I watched your tutorial of the garden card the other day (you were very kind to show my mum the end result - I'm so grateful for that). Having now completed 2 wedding anniversary cards, 1 for my mum and dad - 56 years at the end of this month and 1 for my sister and her husband - 35 years on 1st February, I needed a suitable envelope. Thank you SO much for this tutorial, I've made my 1st top opening 7 x 5 envelope. I'm really chuffed at how it has turned out, wishing I had used coloured card instead of white, but, we live and we learn. I will make the box envelope next.
Thank you so much Sam for the great video with the pattern for this box. I have made a wedding card on which I have lots of raised embellishments and this will be perfect. 😘
I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this tutorial!! I have an envelope punch board and dies up the wazoo and I couldn’t make an envelope for this card until I found your video! Thank you thank you thank you!!
Thank you for this tutorial. I created 5 x 7 birthday card that is 3-Dimensional layered and is too thick for an envelope. I followed your directions and made a box for it. Your instructions were easy to understand and do. My box for the card turned out perfect! Thank you again.
Sam, you are truly an extremely generous person, both with your knowledge and your time. You have shown us so many times to make envelopes, boxes, etc, etc. etc., and once again you have taken the time to show us two different style boxes and in two different sizes, particularly as you have just finished a series. I find this so, so generous and it is any wonder that you are my go-to person. Thank you once again. With my kindest regards, Krystyne
These are a wonderful edition to all your cards that will not fit in a regular envelope. Thank you. You always explain your projects so very well. I will now go to Design Space and make several box envelopes. Your tutorials are always so easy to follow.
Utterly brilliant! Thank you so much. That shaving off a fraction... 🤦♀️. WHY did I never think of that!!! I love all your card videos and turning them into my own reality. Thank you SO much.
Thank you Sam. I always have a hard time finding the right measurements for the right card sometimes. Even at my age I for get or don't remember. Let me say I had the hardest time with measurements in school, I just couldn't understand the ruler. But now that I started watching you and some others how to read the ruler you make it so much easier. I'm a card maker and Quilt maker and I love it. I never gave up. So again Thank you so much.
I love this tutorial! A year after watching, and having made so many of the box 1,I finally made box 2 Flip top in a 6 x 6!! So neat. This is going to my grandson, who is studying Design Engineering, and been making folds!! His card is your corner easel, and I know he will love them. Thanks again Sam xx
OMG!! Thank you so much!!! This is the video tutorial that we all have been waiting for!! So many crafters make 3D cards and no way to send them!! You are the best!!! Hello from the other side of the pond, Miami Florida 🌴😎💕

OMG you are a genius. I have struggled for so long trying to get the lid to a box to be just a hair bigger for a good fit. Never in a million years would I have thought to adjust the base in such a way. Seriously GENIUS!
Thank you so much!...just made a card from my new Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine, Issue #196 and was trying to figure out measurements for it because I added roses and ribbon, which added dimension of course...you are a lifesaver...thanks so much! Have a blessed day!
