My father was a single parent and it wasn't always easy for him since he was battling depression. He was always in and out of jobs but he still managed to raise me the best he could. I only saw my mother 1-2 times a year so those times I needed her, he filled those shoes. When I became depressed myself, he knew how to handle it. He taught me so many helpful skills and also taught me how to be compassionate towards others. I love him so much.

@@rex_tonjim Yes, she is! I have spent the past 4 yrs repairing my relationship with her. It’s been really rocky because for a long time she couldn’t quite understand what mental illness was seeing that she was raised in Japan and I was raised in America. There is a stigma against it there. We are now pretty much on the same page and it’s great. And my dad, well, he is cool as always.

I hope you're doing well and your father too, mad respect for him, I really know mental illness it's not easy, tbh I'm not really well and it's quite hard for me, but seeing that other people are working on it and are sympathetic to it makes me feel a little better because I like to see people get through it, well done ♡ (sorry if I wrote something wrong, I'm learning)

I'm not a single mom but my heart pours out to single parents, especially for single dads who have to raise their kids on their own. Love it that he fixes her hair even if it's a little bit messy. The important thing is, he's really making an effort 🤩

Kids grow up really fast, treasure every moment.
They really do grow up so fast. My son is almost 2 and I feel like he was just a little baby and now hes a toddler. 😭

Kids these day love to stay in door and play with gadget, I love how his daughter enjoy exploring the outdoor.

I was a single mom of two kids and raised them both on my own it's very difficult so kudos to this man for taking the time to make his daughter's lunch look cute LOL
Such a cute a little daughter. You can see that she's the apple of his eye and he's focused on her happiness and wellbeing. This was an enjoyable video.
Not sure why anyone would dislike, but I'm guessing you have your own demons to deal with.

Maybe they thought there could be improvements. Disliking doesn't mean you dislike the people in the video, it means you dislike the production. I didn't dislike, but I can see how there could be stylistic differences for some people. I personally didn't care for the country music, and I thought the end of his day was rushed, we didn't see him doing chores or tucking her into bed, etc. His day looked pretty easy, which is not the desired point of the video. Single parents have a lot to do, and that message wasn't conveyed as clearly as some other channel's.
Actually on youtube, there's always bots liking and disliking videos, so technically speaking no one really "disliked" the video

Men are really awesome with children, I remember my dad and my Grand-dad with me when I was a little girl. Mums can be wonderful too, but it's sad that people sometimes think that a father is less important.
Parenting is 2 person job, both parents are wonderful ❤️

Makes me admire my maternal grandmother evan more. She was a single mother (she become a young widow with a 6 years old daughter). On top of that she helped raising me in my first years of childhood because both my parents had to work long hours to support themselves and me. Single parents are amazing! I have my admiration for them!

Makes me think of my dad. I was already grown and out of the house at 20 years old when my mom died. My little sister is autistic, nonverbal, and cannot live unassisted. My dad didn't force me to care for her, instead taking over and doing it himself. He said he didn't wanna make me do it when I was just starting my life and he wanted my little sis to have the best care he could give. He now cares for my grandmother (his mom) who will be 100 this November. I feel like I don't do enough.
He is doing so well this father and he is easy going, her daughter must be so happy with him.
