- Well, you know what they say, if you can't join 'em, pretend like you are them! (Or something like that). In this series, I'm playing on the same modpack that the Hermits are currently using on the server to "practice" being a Hermit. And who knows, with your help, maybe we'll get to do the real thing!

You can use string under them to hold up the concrete powder, so you can keep the colors of your gradient consistent.
One thing to consider of your ultimate goal here is your use of colorful language. All Hermits are family friendly on their videos, they didn't all start that way. But it's something they adhere to and hold each other accountable for, see Impulse's recent videos where he mentions needing to keep it family friendly. Eventually that's something you need to work on, but keep true to yourself.
Don't let the negative comments stifle your journey. It's going to be a long road, likely years from now, but with perseverance any goal is attainable if you stick with it. Those that comment to the contrary don't want to see you succeed.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes, I have noticed that multiple Hermits have commented on the PG nature of the server. Of course, if I ever make it, I will adhere to any rules they have that I'm currently not following. I have been cognizant of my swearing in these videos, but sometimes that's just my genuine reaction to things (like when the build got flooded at the end XD). Perhaps censoring/bleeping stuff like that in the future could be a good compromise for now.

@@batterygames-Don’t bother with that. Instead, make it clear that you are NOT asking. Just build your own voice and keep “Road to Hermitcraft” as a respectful gimmick. Hermitcraft is a group of friends, people make new friends all the time so anything is possible. But seriously remember that Hermitcraft isn’t a business or industry that you can simply break into. It is a group of real life friends and the line between fan and stalker is easily blurred. In the end, the road to Hermitcraft likely needs to be that you build a large following for your own brand and get to know the Hermits from a position of having an audience that grows their brands. A lot of the hate you are already getting is related to the cringe of the idea mixed with bitter gamers not wanting you to succeed. But if you build a brand off Hermits audience then there is no way they would want you in their group. And they should be OK for you. Go to any social setting and you will see a group that simply will not have you in their circle. It is just reality, that isn’t a sad thing. You can build your own social circle. There is space for new SMPs.
You will never be invited, just change the name of this video series and focus on your own content.

@@yourlocalbirbdawg. They’re not even looking for hermits right now and the foreseeable future. They just added two new hermits, and a lot of TH-camrs who already know the hermits were considered before they settled on Skizz and Joel. There’s a much higher chance any of the old Empires SMP members would become hermits than this guy or other established TH-camrs who already know some hermits, and the thing is, chances are the majority of those TH-camrs will never be hermits because they want the group size to stay the size it currently is.
i know all this, i was honestly trying to support the dude as he's tryin his hardest to film his vids and getting backlash from it

XD I wish...This series is me playing on a single player world using Xisuma's Hermitcraft Enhancements modpack to sort of imitate what it would be like to be a Hermit. The ultimate goal is to (hopefully) get accepted into the real Hermitcraft server :)
@@batterygames-That's the dream isn't it? One day i think it'd be cool if i met the harrmits or even got to play on hermit craft myself. But life demands i be elsewhere, so right now im just focusing on getting a job.
As I have been unemployed for some time now.
After that I can get better gear to actually give this a go, and if by then I have time, maybe we could Play together on a server. :)
Then you'd have at least a very small slice of what it'd be like to be on hermitcraft, and so would I. :)
