Thanks for the video. Sometimes, this is easier then reading the long paper & book that come with it. They make it seem more complicated then it is. I recently bought the True Metrix and checked my blood sugar with my current One Touch meter against True Metrix and there seems to be a big difference. I used the control solution each one came with to make sure the meters were both working fine. True Metrix said 140 after eating and One Touch said 126. A little while later, True Metrix read 130 and One Touch read 111.

I have a True Metrix "Pro" meter and was told by the manufacturer that this meter is not meant for home use and that it is designed to be used in a multi patient environment. I asked them why and they were not able (or not willing) to explain. What is the difference whether the meter is used at home or in a clinic or doctor's office? Looks like the same meter you show here except for the name "Pro" on it and does the same thing. What makes it a "multi patient" meter as opposed to single patient meter? Could you please explain this? Thanks.
The machine have been approved for use in a healthcare setting. It is probably very similar to the standard meter, the company just got multi-patient approved and branded this machine for clinics and such.

I had not used my True Metrix 60 (the small round one) for some months. I tried today. It was dead. I changed the battery and ever since the display has read 88.8. No matter what I do, it reads 88.8. I've pushed that single button for various durations; installed a fresh test strip and gave it a blood sample; removed and replaced the battery (no, the battery doesn't fit if it's flipped over); and I've let it sit and think. No change. 88.8. Is this thing toast?
Man he has great blood readings one time he did 91 and now it's 81 isn't 81 too low I thought the lowest was 90 and if it's under 90 you can like pass out or something this guy's got great blgod great blood levels does anyone else have blood level envy :)
How do you know when the unit isn't giving an accurate reading. I have had mine for 3 years with the same battery. Didn't use it very often. One time recently I put a strip in and it flashed blue twice before I tested blood---what does that mean? It seems it's reading lower than what I have eaten the day before. What am I doing wrong?
The True Metrix Air has Bluetooth - download the True Metrix Air App on your IOS or Android device. Ensure the Bluetooth and the glucometer are paired. Make sure the Bluetooth symbol shows up on the meter, and when you begin to use it while in pairing mode with the app - all of the information obtained from the readings with be stored within in the app, along with other useful info.
