In fact it's like 50/50,you can't run it because you don't have good air ventilation or watercooling and you can play it because you have those things.

better than my 1650 which does only 13 fps in extreme settings (i even tried overclocking it but no changes) the max that i can get is 70 fps in high settings, probably the 4gb of vram is the cause
I had a 960 2gb and the only thing that made me go for the Rx 6600 was lack of vram performance was still fine at 1080p though my standards were pretty low I came from playing on a Ryzen 3 2200u with Vega 3 graphics though I did upgrade it from single channel ram to dual and got a huge performance gain.
Man , 20 series are 5 years old already so thats not surprising that it started to struggle , developers simply dont optimize game for old stuff bcs it is way more expensive than release not optimized shit bcs perfomance lvl of new cards allows them to do that

Kryzzp, the reason Xess is bad on old architectures is it uses machine learning. Basically you're forcing the 980ti to emulate the same deep learning algorithm that something like DLSS uses, and it slows it down dramatically due to not having AI cores

Most people with 980Tis are enthusiasts and will OC the card because Maxwell was probably the best generation for overclocking. I've seen more people complaining about my OC not being that high than about me overclocking the card!

Oh not only 1060, any non reference model with boost clocks in 1350-1400mhz range is slighly faster than 1070 and little below 1070ti. Hi, I already answered! The 3080Ti is still a beast and I wouldn't upgrade this gen. The 4080 is around 40% faster, not a huge bump in performance!
