I was waiting for you to realise you had the board the wrong way. I have never seen anyone struggle so hard with box furniture. I heard them complain but could never picture what exactly they might be having trouble with. You solved that mistery for me. Although I can still hardly believe it. 😂
As it is probably your first time building furniture on your own, you still did good. We all started somewhere. Try using a drill, it was right next to you. Some wood are very stubborn and with a screw driver it can take time and you can get blisters on your hand. When using a drill, look that the screws are in straight, otherwise nothing will fit in the end. Try watching tutorials while doing the furniture. Small note on the site, stop hitting stuff, for it to work. xD How many furnitures I accidentally broke or scratched bc I thought it was helping...To build furniture it takes time and calmness. Otherwise you probably don't get the result you want. But all of that aside, I love how your bedroom turned out. Looks so comfortable and homey. Good job!
Thank you! There were a handful of times I chose not to use the drill because the cross shape of the screw was just turning into a circle and I thought the drill was too much force, but thank you for the feedback I appreciate it 😊
Girl I applaud you for having the patience in building the furniture I would have been gave up. Building furniture is definitely not my thing. The bedroom came out very nice.
For future DIYs/ renos, a bit/ tip set and a drill, in combo with your impact, will make putting things together and sinking dry wall anchors and their screws much easier. Excellent work. A completely brand new space.
I would recommend using a drill bit (if you have it available) to drill holes into the wall instead of the screwdriver bit itself. Use the screwdriver bit to help with screwing screws into thing like your bookshelf. And, use a ruler and some tape (like washi or masking tape) if you don't have a level to make sure things like your shelf brackets are, well, level.
I ordered a vanity table/desk from there and the husband, after putting it together, said “please show me next time what you want before you order”. 😂 It was NOT a good time!!! Everything looks great! I love your aesthetic. ❤

Isa, I just found your channel and I love it! Your personality is so fun and I love your editing style! Aside from that, your room looks amazing! I absolutely love it! Just subscribed! ✨ 💕
A little sad to see all the color go! But it's definitely a pretty, calming space now, it looks lovely! Does the door hit the yoga mat hooks? They look like they stick out really far, and might prevent the door from opening fully.
Yeah I feel the same way that’s why I tried to incorporate a little color with the decor :( the door doesn’t fully open but it never opens because it opens more than enough for me
Paint, whether spray or from a can, won’t cover bleed through, which is what caused the red stains. You have to cover the piece with a clear shellac, either spray or can. Then paint and no bleed through.
This was recommended by the YT algorithm 😛 In design, focal points are curated areas within a space that anchor the eye and set the tone for the rest of the room. I think the area above the cabinet has the most visual interest here but doesn’t pack enough punch for my taste. It would benefit from a bit of color and/or texture to add warmth. With that said, I like how organized and intentional everything looks. You have good taste and a great editing eye. Just my opinion as a viewer 🙂
Cute! You need to follow the instructions more than you would see that round thing is not suppossed to come out. They cant cause the screw from the other side sticks in it. Look at the ➡️ on the round thingies you open and close them around the screw. If you open them you can pull the screws out. Love the result ❤
@@isabelwicker i can’t blame you, seeing yourself bleed is terrifying ngl. I’m glad you’re good now and your room looks so good. And i love how you are such an independent woman building all of that stuff by yourself.🩷
I came to your channel because TH-cam suggested this video, but I looked around your channel and looked at another video 1st and became a subscriber now I'm back to look at this video.
@@isabelwicker There's even apps that can use your phone as a level! Since your phone has a little thing inside to know whether it's vertical/horizontal, etc.
Just be a little more patient and attentive sis 😅. The furniture building happens to us all but it's easier if you focus and take your time. The more frustrated you let it make you, the more things you mess up.
I love the honesty in those things are not easy to put together.
Thank you😊
i love how she built almost everything herself and that proves that being independent can be awesome 😋
Thank you 😊💖
no problem girl 😋
I have never had a harder time putting together furniture than when I built an office chair. It is not for the weak!
