I'm having a problem with the ON button. When I push it in, it lights up and the humidifier plate gets hot. When I let go it shuts off. What am I doing wrong?

I've read these have a bad onoff switch. did you figure it out or get a different model? if a different one. which one?

I hate videos like this you're trying to research how much more water does it hold and how it actually works and you don't even describe anything other than to clean it and hook it up how much water does it hold versus a regular chamber
