There is just”something” about Paris. Your videos capture that”something”. Until I can return, you will have to satisfy my longing for the most beautiful city!
I love the Grand Marnier crepe at the crepe stand right across from les Deux Maggots right by the church of St. Germain. They're nice guys and there is often a jazz combo playing right there on the street.
Excellent video, I like the length ~20 min is perfect to really enjoy. I didn't know Les Deux Magots had a stepdown location, I must try it next time I'm in Paris. It seems I always learn something new watching your channel, merci!
As someone who has always dreamed of visiting Paris one day, I really enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for once again sharing the beauty and delicious eats of Paris.
@@paristoptips Yes I remember that one. Lovely video. I was trying to remember a museum I saw in 1981 and thought it was the Orsay. Obviously not. Now I think it was the Jeu de Paume.
Ah, PTT, is there any meal in Paris that cannot be enhanced by a view of the Seine. I think not 😊 . Your consideration in saving your initial dessert was evidently appreciated by your daughter . On your second day , I appreciate an establishment that does not overcrowd a menu. it simply does what it offers well . On the third , The gallette looked wonderful , a classic. Again the self-restraint you showed in not eating the maccaron's from Sadaharu Aoki , well, a true family man . The dessert looked wonderful ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
For the boeuf bourguignon, I have made two videos of very good places, you should check them: Au vieux Comptoir, in the 1st and Au Bourguignon du Marais in the 4th. For the pâté en croûte, too...
Another spot on video that leaves me 🤤. And with all the walking I do in Paris, I won’t concern myself with gaining any weight or feeling any guilt whatsoever for trying some, if not all, of your suggestions! Thank you once again.
Bonjour. I’ll be traveling from the US with a 17 yr old who is used to requesting sandwiches, hamburgers, etc “with” this item and, more importantly, “without” this or that. Example: He’d try to order a Croque Monsieur without jambon and a pizza pas de viand et pas de légumes. You see my challenge! Any ideas for me besides Macdonald’s and (gasp) Subway for every meal? Merci! .
There are dozens of different burger brands in Paris, including good French ones such as Big Fernand or PNY. But it is not common anywhere in fast food restaurants to try and alter the recipes... In fact, it might be easier in a normal seated restaurant, except if the item he requests out is a key element of the recipe... such as ham in a croque-monsieur 😁
@@paristoptipsThanks! It will be my 4th trip to Paris so that’s why I knew his eating habits would be a problem. I’ve decided he can figure it out for himself during the day. At dinner, he’ll have to watch me eat adventurously while he devours all the bread on the table.

Chapon's Chocolat Mousse to go is an unimaginably divine delight! Not to be missed 😉
Glad to know I'm not the only one here who likes it!😄
This video is on point for me, I will be in Paris briefly and plan to visit the Musee d'Orsay.
Hope you have a great time there! For more information on Orsay, you might want to check this:th-cam.com/video/M6EZah6rgbo/w-d-xo.html

Maybe the Orangerie, or Marmottan-Monet, if it's about impressionism.

Charlotte indeed liked both the pain au praliné and the macarons... But to speak the truth, I just couldn't eat more on both occasions 😄
@@paristoptips This is why you maintain your slender figure
😊 I do have a few kilos to lose. But constantly walking the streets of Paris helps!
@paristoptips I think you exaggerate 🙂 , however I would certainly agree that walking around Paris can lead to many delightful culinary discoveries.
Wonderful video with suggestions for street food places in my favorite neighborhood! Merci!
Avec plaisir !
A neighborhood that deserves it...
Thank you for the great video, everything looks good.
Any suggestions for a tasty beef bourguignon and also a good pâté en croûte.

Eat, walk, marvel and eat again!

Absolutely, though in France, we always have to add: "à consommer avec modération!" as per the law 😄
Thank you, we tried the 1st one in august after you doing an earlier review and it was
fantastic. We just need to try the other 9 now 👍
Great to hear! Next time you're in Saint-Germain, then 🙂
J'aurais voulu être 😋
La prochaine fois ! 😁
Bonjour. and merci. 💙🤍❤️
