I completed my 24-year service in the US Army last year. I have since transitioned to a project management role in the IT sector, and I'm finding success in my new career. I'm happily married with two young daughters, aged 6 and 8. Despite these positive aspects of my life, I've been feeling quite lonely and isolated. I've realized that it's challenging for me to make friends outside of the structured community environment of the US Army where our focus was on completing tasks together. Any advice?
Thankyou for this lovely information, I am one of the lucky men who have close male friends in the church, we get together once a week to share bible study and singing hymns having supper afterwards, we always hug and cuddle when we greet each other because we can see and experience the importance of pure love . I would love to see more men have this important need met.

We should also remember that none of us lives in isolation. The problem of male friendship affects not only men, but also those around them.
