hello I have noticed that when increasing the settings cirrus clouds bring my pc to its knees while other cloud types have minimal to none performance hit. Is this also the case for you?
To be honest, regarding clouds, I can not see any difference in comparison to LUA-tweaked default clouds and probably custom cloud textures. What exactly does this new plugin in do? What is its intention?
This is large topic to discuss. Current clouds in X-Plane are very limited on what they can do. Volumetric 3D cloud will remove repeated patterns, "bill board" effect, add depth, cover horizon, mix cloud types, go beyond the XP limit layer and many other things. This only touches cloud so might work. Give it a try its is free. Just download and drop in your plugin folder.
I need help with something, I can't find the FMS Plans in the Output folder. I downloaded it through steam, do I need to do anything to get it?
For X-Plane steam version, the .fms file needs to be copied to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\X-Plane 11\Output\FMS plans" . If "FMS Plans" folder doesn't exists than create it manually.
@@SimsSmith After would I need to map it to make sure the game reads the Flight plans?
@@misterpopoman2919 Lets try this experiment. Please save this file raw.githubusercontent.com/Simssmith/public-share/master/x-plane/fms/KBOS-KJFK.fms in your "FMS Plans" folder above. If windows make sure you have "show extension" so the file extension is .fms. Then open X-Plane 11 and when you open the G1000 or FMC and follow the load procedure and the fms file will show up so you can load it.
