Opening a door right after an NPC has walked through it has a chance of instantaneously eviscerating said NPC, attributing the kill to you for some reason. Happened to me TRICE while doing missions in Freeside, and turning everyone around hostile. To avoid said bug, wait 5 or 10 seconds after an NPC has used a door, and then you can exit the building safely.

19:30 makes me think that "Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas in another language" might make for a fun challenge. Everything is set to another language you don't speak, such as dialogue, items, locations etc.
For the fallout 4 ver, i thought about The Deathclaw Gauntlet. U don't need to kill the Deathclaw in the museum.
In far harbor, u can get a Crippling Sledgehammer without killing anything.

Your allowed laser and plasma weapons but can only use the enclave remnant power armor as your armor. If others are interested in this please suggest it so we can get it made ❤❤❤

I have a challenge Idea
Can you beat New Vegas only with bought items
What this means is self explanatory. You are allowed to loot from dead bodies but not allowedto use the items themself as they are only for selling. You can then use the cash to buy whatever is possible to be bought, may it be weapons, armor or meds.
In addition: Cant use DLC items for money for obvious reasons and you cannot use starting gear from vanilla either apart from armor

Melee is the ascended way to play anyways, as fun as guns can be.
He's done plenty gun only and is way to eazy.. Lol
All you have to do to justify a melee build is to play with a controller, 3 and NV is just clunky enough to justify it.

2:34 , not sure if you're aware of this or not, but if you drop all of your 5.56 ammo during target practice, when you talk to Sunny, she'll gift you 50 more rounds
I think she'll give it to you either way when you agree to do the extra missions

Also before yoh leave docc mitchells house, you can ask him for stimpacks with a few speech checks you can get a total of 8 or 9 that he gives you.
If you ever do a Fallout 4 version of this, you could get Cait as a companion, since Tommy gives you her contract
FO4 might be extremely easy since you can get Righteous Authority, The Deliverer, a free set of power armor, (I count it since the BOS give you it, even tho its not added to inventory) I believe X6-88 is also given to you by the institute.
@@TheChosenMoose01 even with more harsh roles, there's a Crippling Sledgehammer that can be given without attacking anything in Far Harbor.
Then u can get the Atom's Judgement super sledge, and both u and Cait can do massive damage.
Well, same as the only stolen item run, the Kellogg chip will just ruin everything.

If you finished Boone's quest he would have given you a first recon beret that increases crit chance. Also happy birthday Nerbit and I can't wait to see this challenge again in either Oblivion, Skyrim, or Fallout 4.
Fallout 3 would be good. You get given a 10mm pistol right off the bat, Bitch can give you his Tunnel Snake uniform, lincoln's repeater, etc.

I'm surprised you didn't go legion on this run, because it's incredibly viable. In addition to liberator and the healing powder, turning dog tags in to decanus severus can get you submachine guns, leather armor, frag grenades, and ammo for lower tier guns. The safehouse gets you free stealth boys. The caesar's favor dropboxes are also incredibly busted, giving you tons of healing items and just about every type of ammo in the game, making gifts like the van graff weapons and the mysterious magnum useable for the entire run.
I'm genuinely curious: has he ever done a legion run? Of all the New Vegas videos of his I've watched so far, I have yet to find one where he actually sides with the legion.
@@doodlebug7 He sides with them in the straight razor run, not sure if he has sided with them in any other challenge though.
He can't get dog tags gifted to him so he can't hand them in.
I'm pretty sure the dropboxes wouldn't count, seeing as he has to loot that stuff, rather than having it handed to him. I might be conflating multiple rules from different channels, but from what I can remember that's part of this.

I know it isn't really the most interesting challenge, since you've already done the other version of it, but it would be cool to see a run with as many vanilla followers as possible, like imagine a follower, a dog, ncr ranger and trooper, king bodyguard, etc. Could be interesting

I've been doing most of these challenges on both Fallout 3 and New Vegas. They've taught me how to play the game differently and try new tactics!
I have a challenge idea. Can you beat fallout 4, as the enclave? You can only do things that the enclave would do so you would probably have to side with the institute and you could only use weapons they would use. And you’d probably have to get the X-01 power armor

As a tip, when doing the Sunny Smiles quest where you shoot bottles, if you drop all your ammo she'll give you more :)
She'll also give you more ammo if you agree to fight geckos with her. It's an extremely easy encounter even for a tutorial, and absolutely worth doing.

You can only use power armor (if you can paint it black) for your armor, your only weapon is the shishkabob, and you HAVE to side with the institute

Imagine making a melee build, and then proceeding to not use melee for the vast majority of the run.
Wow, the Fallout 4 version of this challenge sounds painful. You get Righteous Authority from Danse, a bunch of Chems from Diamond City Blues, the Silver Shroud gear, A sniper rifle up in Salem from Barney Rook, A single Balistic Weave mk1(?) mod from the first railroad Black Ops Cache (Given from Tinker Tom after the fact), and I think that's about it, right? Except for Ashmaker from The Big Dig, which you can turn into a pseudo-ripper with some modifications and gun bashing.

Can you beat Fallout New Vegas as an outcast?
This challenge is all about being a social outcast and living off what you can make yourself, with no help from society whatsoever.
Rules:
- You can only use weapons that fall under the "Guns" skill (or whatever type of gun the reloading bench can make ammo to, I dont know for certain);
- You can only craft ammo on the reload benches, no buying or looting them off corpses or containers/chests etc...;
- Stealth is banned (just to make sure you waste bullets :D );
- Weapon repairs are only allowed if you repair them yourself;
- Survival mode is imperative and you can only eat and drink what you make at campfires (you can only sleep outside and away from civilization too)
- You cannot use shops;
- You cannot use doctors;
- You cannot talk to people (if you must, like in forced segments, make it as quickly as possible).
These are only my rules, of course, feel free to make changes as you see fit!
It's funny you tagged Speech, Barter, and Explosives specifically for Ghost Town Gunfight, because Obsidian had PC Gamer tag those for a guided demo of the quest in 2010.
Can you beat Fallout new vegas as Jason Voorhees
Rules: you must make your character look as close to Jason Voorhees as you can(Hocky Mask included) you can only use melee weapons that Jason Voorhees has used(Example Machete,Fireaxe,Spear, ect) For special Stats I'd recommend High Strength and High Endurance but Low Charisma and Intelligence, Perception, agility and luck are up to you, chems are allowed(FYI yes you can use the Broad Machete if you want)

Beat an Elder Scrolls game as Thor
Nord, can only use lightning/electric based spells and abilities, only weapon you can use is Dwarven Warhammer(renamed Mjolnir, with the appropriate elemental enchantment), if completing Civil War story in Skyrim you side with the Stormcloaks(the true Nords as stated in that game)
You can interpret any other stipulations yourself, obviously, just thought this was a fun idea

I'll gift you absolute PAIN!! The Switchblade is the WORST both in Fallout 3 as in NV, just try it, when I beated Fallout 3 with it on very hard, I had to carry 21 of them to survive vault 87
How about a "Weapon type cycle" run for Skyrim? Or Oblivion if you want it to be a bit more challenging. (Or Morrowind if you really want it to suck)
The rules are that you can only use one weapon type at a time, but every time you level up a weapon skill, you have to switch to the next weapon type. A weapon type in this case being any weapon that falls under the same skill. So in Skyrim for example, an iron sword and iron mace would both be the same weapon type, as they both us the One-Handed skill.
The weapon type order could either be a set order that you've established beforehand (alphabetical, random, awesomeness, etc) or for extra spiciness, you could roll a die every time to select your new weapon type.
I can't believe you didn't pick up This Machine, my favorite base game weapon that's given as a quest reward

You could have gotten infinite free dynamite and gunpowder from the powder gangers in the NCRCF if you helped them fend off the NCR.
Dynamite only run wouldn't be the most fun though.

Nerbit, i have a challenge request that came up in my mind afther i watched a few video's on obscure Fallout 4 facts and i would really love to see a run of it, because there is actually alot of unique dialoge you can get this way. "Can you beat Fallout 4 as the Silver Shroud?"

A neat anti-lincoln run would be a "Could you beat Fallout 4 as a Blade Runner" the goal is to try and kill every Synth NPC while using Blade-runner type weapons. would be a good antesis to Lincoln trying to save the synths.

Can you beat Fallout 4 as a baseball player? You can only use baseball bats (modded is fine), baseball grenades, and the uniform and hat/helmet.
I don’t get why nerbit didn’t do the enclave remnant quest. You can get free power armor training and Tesla armor.
