Great Video!! always i use for learn more about Spirit: some way for select diferente función with 3 stage swicht? Normal flight, Idle 1 and idle 2? or the only way to do is with Bank?
Hi. I used to bind no problem, but now failing each time. No connection or configuration changes, only transmitter change and new model (on transmitter) to be bind. Any idea what's wrong?
Good day Kobus, there could be a number of things but need to understand what radio/receiver your are using or is it a Jeti integrated version? Typically you need to 1) make sure configuration in General tab is still set to the radio type you are using 2) make sure you get power - you would have LED indication 3) use the proper binding method for your radio. At least this is how I would approach it.
Hello, is it normal that when you fly in positionhold and let go of the control stick, it takes quite a long time before it goes back into positionhold? Could you increase the reaction speed by increasing the gain?
Hello, what is the difference between stabi function and stabilisation(normal) function ? i can program both. is stabi for the special function, like gps hold etc.... and stabilisation only for come back to horizontal ? Can you tell me Please. kind regards Martin
I thought I covered that somewhere but cannot find it. Stabilization(normal) will return the heli to upright when the rescue is triggered. Stabilization(acro) would level the heli but depending on the angle when the rescue is triggered it may be inverted or upright. Coaxial will keep the heli level and return to level whenever you let go of the sticks. This is normally not on the rescue stick but rather a mode or bank setting
This is very instructive content thank you! I am setting up my first Spirit 2 module with Spectrum IX12 and SRXL2 SPM4651T module. Everything went fine during the configuration but I have an issue with the Stab feature. I have assigned a channel to activate "Rescue Normal", I can see the status moving from 0 to 1 in the channel view of the Spirit Settings app but nothing happens on the heli when I want to test it. I am for instance lowering down the pitch and applying some aileron but whenever I click the rescue switch nothing is happening. Any idea why?
@@yufasa thanks for the answer. Actually the trick is that I did activate stabi without noticing it was by default in gyro activation. Problem is that in the software once it is activated you don’t have the menu anymore to chose between gyro and dedicated channel. You have to deactivate and reactivate stabi to see this option. Now it works but this behavior of the software is very misleading. Thanks anyway!
Hi I would love for you to do a video on banks as I have a first gen DX7 so I would like to know how to set up banks. I hear a lot about banks but can’t find anything that tells or shows how to do it. I have just got a spirit and have set it up and the helicopter flies great, I now know what locked in feels like. I also have a Ikon and they seem very similar, I am new to fbl I have been flying flybared for over 10 years (scale nitro no 3D) and now have 2 fbl electric and love them, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
Hello and Happy New Year!!!thx for this I was waiting for some time this part of video.Still one question not answerd for me...is possible to have both stabi and rescue?for example to have ch 8 ..2 position swith for stabi and one momentary switch on ch 9 for example for rescue?Thx!!!
And now you get on the subject of banks...so yes you can set bank 0 to use say stabilization (normal or acro) and you can set bank 1 to be Rescue(normal or acro). So by switching banks you can use the same rescue switch behave differently - either Stabi or Rescue depending on the bank
@@yufasa What is handy to set up here if you are using banks (not covered in your video) is to set one switch for Stabli on/off and one three-position switch to select two options that you want for stabilization and one for rescue. The third spring-loaded switch position mixes the Rescue bank selection into the Stabi on, channel (turns Stabi on as well as Rescue) Why? In case you are flying around and you need to use rescue and you forgot to turn on the Stabi function. It took me a while to understand that Stabi needs to be on no matter what is selected on the bank channel, hence the mixing function to turn it on when you activate the rescue. I'm using a Jeti TX which is fairly easy to set up, Futaba was more difficult, but that might just me. It would be good to have a video on Banks as I think some people don't really understand the use of them and also that they can have lots of different setup functions stored in each bank, not just selection Stabi and Rescue modes. Thanks for your helpful videos.
@@ricad58 I am having the same issue trying to set my Futaba 16sz with Spirit2. I want switch C to select stab on or off, and momentary switch H to override any applied (or not) stabilization setting for rescue/bailout.

Could we see a new update setup now with the auto rescue

been offline for a while - all I can think of is that you did not select what you want the stab function to do on the stab tab?
