Very informative video. A few suggestions for those without a lot of room or money. I have a 2x4x5 grow tent. My only mistake was It should have been taller to allow more vertical growth. The 2x4 footprint allows for 8 three gallon pots to fit inside. True that's not roomy enough for large varieties but many varieties can be grown and kept short and still provide a lot of material. If you trim in a field of green type pruning you can end up with a solid 2x4 by several feet tall block of leaves. I consider the 6" blower and carbon filter a real necessity for indoor growing. As someone who has a lot of experience with different types of lighting(decades of lighting marine aquariums) I believe, in small grow tents, led full spectrum lights give the best value for the cost. I have two 600watt leds in my grow tent and I have to cut the intensity down some to avoid leaf burn. Heating and cooling aren't needed in the grow tent as in my home the temp. is normally set for 72 in the winter and 74 in the summer. With the air exchange from the blower the plants are jostled constantly and there has never been a mold issue. I do suggest one thing that works well for me. Each grow cycle I hang a fly strip in the middle of the grow tent. I've never had a white fly issue since I started doing that but at the end of each cycle there's always hundreds of flies, gnats stuck to the strip. Buy the best soil mix you can find, extra perlite, extra nutrients. I use fox farms and it has worked well consistently for me. Change your light hours from 18 to 12 when your plants have reached half as tall as you have room for them to grow because they will continue to grow with the buds forming and at that stage you don't want to do any more plant topping. Hint, if you're growing for cbd read up on telling when the thc is converted into cbd and how to tell when it's the right time to harvest.
I wish I could've watched this before I started growing in the spring. So much wasted time through trial and error. My plants are doing well and grow outdoors but thinking seriously about indoors. Thanks for all the really useful information.
also, I would recommend a first time grower to get some yellow sticky traps/cards, a jewlers loupe, and maybe some mosquito dunks for the water reservoir if growing in a garage or shed. My new favorite garden tool is the scissor file Fiskars sells for sharpening your pruners, easily added many years of use to my tired old shears!
If you're a first-time grower and see all this stuff you "need" don't worry, you just need a light bulb and an auto switch to set the 18/6 lighting schedule. Then just add an outtake fan. It will also work as a passive inflow pushing old air out, bringing new air in. Then you just add more lights. 6x 13w ordinary LED bulbs. And some veg nutrients. That's all you need. 50bucks tops.

Woohoo! Second legal season, lucky me, ive got a greenhouse! Last harvest was 4 plants, 8lbs! Not a joke. I gave 3lbs away so far, no way i could smoke that much, my people are happy. Thank you!
It's a lot fun. Just remember this. Less is more. Everyone tries to pump their plants with everything possible to the max, and none of that matters at all. It's all about genetics, your soil, and lighting. I'm on my 2nd grow and I only use soil from the backyard, and water from the hose. I never use nutrients, I never check the ph, but I but top quality clones from the dip for $25 each and my flowers come out rock hard dense, covered in trichomes, I trim them as if they're going to a dip for top shelf, and cure for at least 1-2 months and everyone who has smoked my flowers says it's better then anything they've bought in Denver at the dips and it's 100% organic just soil and water so you know your not smoking chemicals or anything else like this.
@@jasongunningham9545 you'll be able to tell a difference for sure if you smoke it. My cousin grows organically, makes his own soil and his bud is really good, so last year I did my first grow and it's way better then the Chem flooded bud at the dips. I just use the Colorado soil in our backyard and my plants flourish. Plus I get really good genetics from klonecolorado.com, and freeworldgenetics.com. Idk where your located but if you're in Colorado I highly recommend them. About to harvest my Orange Creamsicle this weekend, 2 Scoops will be done next weekend, then Holy Modo has 1.5 weeks left and Tropicalia OG's have 3-4. They were really late bloomers and I should have tricked them into flower but now I have to build a mock green house for 4 weeks to keep them alive from the snow. Last year I had 12 plants, harvested 5 and the rest all died from a snow storm. I used the buds on the dead plants for bubble hash and it still came out great. Actually still have about a lb in the freezer to run this fall.

Hid lamps have and always will grow great buds , every bit as good as any led , how ever hid lights burn too hot and use twice as much electricity so if money is not a concern and you have a 8" fan go with ceramic metal halide double ended 1000 ! The remote ballast is a big factor in heat reduction. We just passed legal weed in my state and I would like to grow again. I did it back in the late 70s but didnt want to go to jail. It was fun. The only book I can say Ive read cover to cover many times over was the complete guide to growing by ed rosenthal I think. TBH thats one of not many that I can say I actually read completely and I did read it many times. There must be lots of new literature out there? I'm an electrician wt control training for 30+ yrs. This could be great fun.

I wish someone would do an in depth video on safe electric usage.Amps, watts, breakers, and probably the most hazardous of all using extension cords improperly or incorrectly.Even some of the most experienced indoor growers have horror stories of overloading breakers and extension cords.from loosing your crops to burning down your house and death.
Im all set inside a big stack of hay and man- fire extinguisher. Just don’t get a rats nest going or cheap lights. And keep an eye on everything. Buy a good grounded power strip and never daisy chain lights
yeah...I don't know if I'd send a noob grower to pick up a 1000W HPS. Now days you can pick up a decent full spectrum LED for under $300 that will get you through a grow and not need new bulbs every 6 months
I just germinated my first 2 seeds my current set up is i have a cheap 20 dollar fan a 30 dollar heater a 20 dollar led desk light if they do germinate and grow to the flowering stage ill put them outside
Really good video Thx for making this for people and putting it out there. I needed this a year or so ago and would have helped me a lot. I actually got a 600 watt HPS thinking I was dialing down a 1,000 to 600. So this would have told me the balace comes in 600 or 1000 and I would have got the 1000
Hey just wondering if you could give me any advice on heating up my 2.5x2.5x6.6 grow tent during the winter in the uk? My bedroom temps vary from 15c (59f) - 22c (71f) I exhaust air out of the house through a 4’’ RVK fan with a CF attached and suck air in from my lung room through vent holes. In my lung room I keep the window slightly open for fresh air which lowers temps.. and have radiators which I don’t want on all the time.. the humidity varies from 44%-66%, I’ve just ordered a humidifier and dehumidifier to create more stability. In the tent I have HLG 260w qb v2 lights, and 3 oscillating fans.. Ideally I would just stick a small oil filled radiator inside my tent but worried about it taking up too much room as I want to fill up my scrog net completely. Maybe the radiator could sit underneath the canopy? I’m wondering if this wouldn’t burn or dry the leaves? I’ve heard ceramic fan heaters are popular too but again space and burnt/dry leaves are a concern.. tubular heaters apparently can burn holes in the tent and don’t produce much heat... As I sleep in the lung room keeping it 24 degrees all the time is too hot for me.... Any advice from the pro’s on here would be highly appreciated. Love from London!!

This could be great fun.
just got some evolution fuel going from evolution seed co, been too long without my own organic homegrown, I'm ready!
My favorites are white widow and granddaddy purple
Juicing the leaves is an awesome reason to grow your own. The green juice is a powerful anti inflammatory that can relieve pain without any psychoactive effect.
When I added fans that blow side to side AND up and down oh heck yeah. It’s moves gas from the floor.
Wonderful
What a lovely and knowledgeable woman.
Great Teacher very Helpful Thank You 🤟🏽
Great video
I definitely don’t believe in accidents or coincidences everything happens for a reason there was a reason why I came across this video. Wow and thank you. 😊
Beautiful...the buds look great as well.
like it Arianna.. nice approach.
Sorry complete nubi here, once a plant is grown and harvested is it trash or can product be regrown?
Awesome guide 👍
I love you, thank you for your video
Is there going to be a follow-up to this video? 7 months after the "intro" video, there's no new Cannagirl updates? I thought she was going to take us thru harvest...?
Great advice for newbies. Eye candy at its best. Give her a like.
Well presented. Thank you.
Gorgeous AND knowledgeable
Love the Ndebele necklace 😍
I Love you Ariana!! Thank you
Good video. Very beautiful from Brownsville Texas Julio V
I’m from Brownsville Brooklyn
I wish someone would do an in depth video on safe electric usage.Amps, watts, breakers, and probably the most hazardous of all using extension cords improperly or incorrectly.Even some of the most experienced indoor growers have horror stories of overloading breakers and extension cords.from loosing your crops to burning down your house and death.
Im all set inside a big stack of hay and man- fire extinguisher. Just don’t get a rats nest going or cheap lights. And keep an eye on everything. Buy a good grounded power strip and never daisy chain lights
I would get a nice LED growing light. No heat and good on the electric bill.
yeah...I don't know if I'd send a noob grower to pick up a 1000W HPS.
Right...I can't believe some people are still using HPS and MH grow lights...they consume way too much electricity
Really good video Thx for making this for people and putting it out there. I needed this a year or so ago and would have helped me a lot.
I actually got a 600 watt HPS thinking I was dialing down a 1,000 to 600. So this would have told me the balace comes in 600 or 1000 and I would have got the 1000
Is it ok if it gets in the 90s ? I have a high upper level but it is only partially finished and doesn’t have air

Hi how long you been growing?
Love this video. Is there any others as to point and easy as this one. Thanks by the way.
Awesome information! 💨🌲❤️🐕
Indiana just needs to legalize it already. I wish I could grow my own.
Just grow your own, fuck the government. You’re a full grown adult and have the right to grow a natural plant. Think about it ?!
Make a friend next door in Illinois!
I don’t believe in mistakes I believe I was meant to find this video. Wow.
Hey just wondering if you could give me any advice on heating up my 2.5x2.5x6.6 grow tent during the winter in the uk?
My bedroom temps vary from 15c (59f) - 22c (71f)
I exhaust air out of the house through a 4’’ RVK fan with a CF attached and suck air in from my lung room through vent holes.
Hello, I bought a rapitest digital moisture meter; but on the long list of plants with the right moisture number for each plant that it came with NO cannabis plant was in the list. So I email the company and they email me back saying they do not know the right soil moisture level for cannabis. Totally blew me away! Could you please tell me the ideal soil moisture number for cannabis? Also could you recommend a good soil moisture meter that is digital that is between 50-150$. Thank you so much and have a great day!
You should do one.on out side growing.
hi Ariana , i'm a newbie grower and like your video content , i cant seem to find that list and other sheet info you mention you gave out , i'd appreciated if you can point me in the right direction to get started and doing this right the first time around .... great content , hope to hear from you soon ! ty vm for sharing your content and knowledge !
is there any advantage of using hydroponics vs. soil? Best plant food for soil-based cannabis?

Professional grow tent manufacturer
What side do I go to to buy all equipment at once Please 2021

Hi from puerto Rico....
How are you doing really informative video I like your style I was wondering where could I get a copy of the document you were speaking of about the humidity if you need a humidifier temperature that you were speaking about in the video I would love to know how to access that thanks
Never use a glass hood in a tent . Just vent the whole tent. Only use one fan . Either in ot out.
Outstanding Presentation !, and the seeds are available to ? where ? Thank You !.
Get yourself some quality clones from a friendly gardener rather than seeds if your a novice.
"thank you for purchasing this course on how to grow your own cannabis"
I am guessing that did not turn out too well considering all the extremely high-quality content on this subject that is available on youtube for free.
but thanks for sharing.
