cant believe Joe doesn't have 2 million subs, this guy is GREAT, ordinary guy doing everyday stuff is very enjoyable, between the 2 houses and the tent i dont miss a video, THANKS Joe you are truly inspirational.
Thank you Steve. I leave for the Tent between 6 and 7 tomorrow morning. First 2 days will be on Joe and Zach Survival and then Melissa joins me and the next 2 days will be on Northern Seclusion.
Joe, I must say the farm is looking awesome with all the clearing you are doing. I can't believe how much junk was left in the ground. Keep up the great videos. I have been watching for many years. Your Canadian neighbour.
I was with you all the way to the “I have 12 minutes to do this row”. At that point I would have been cracking a beer by the grill...you have a great work ethic Joe and I have enjoyed all of your videos for the last year. Thank you.
YOUR TRACTOR AND YOUR ABILITY TO MANAGE THAT TRACTOR IS YOUR LAND'S SALVATION. YOU HAVE BEEN ABLE TO "RECLAIM" THE MOTHER EARTH THAT ONCE WAS AND NOW IS! CONGRATULATIONS FOR THE GREAT WORK YOU HAVE BOTH DONE TO MAKE YOUR LAND A NEW PARADISE!
Soooo very happy to see Joanie running free, I could cry BUT I won’t! 🙄🙄 Thinking of pulling the trigger on my next rescue animal. Been missing my Husky Princessa for almost 8 months now, way too long! Think my little heart is ready to be lovin’ my next family member. Your vids have helped me soo much, Melissa and Joe. My little heart thanks you. 👍👏🏻😘
Oh my goodness. Y’all are worker bees!!! I missed seeing your plate at the end with Melissa’s potato salad!! 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Joe and Melissa. Absolutely love these videos.
Ann from Alabama here! Everything is looking good, especially the food! LOL! Today is Wednesday, May 6, 2020 and you were talking about the winds. We were supposed to have had thunderstorms last night. But we didn't, instead around 2 o' clock this morning the wind started blowing like crazy! Today outside the gusts would tumble children's plastic seats, sand pails, and then the big, rolling, garbage can lids off! I'm praying it calms down some. Thanks for the video! Be safe!
Joanie! Yea she is back with Joe and working hard. LOL I do love the joy of that dog. Earthworms! Now that is a wonderful sight to have in the soil. This was fun, Joe. Seeing you on that tractor reminded me of an uncle when I was a kid. He was a good farmer and food at their house was always homegrown and delicious! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
Really enjoyed this episode. I noticed you have very good dark soil for planting. Nothing but old red dirt around here. Good to see Joni running free outside. You've got everything looking nice. You'll make great progress this summer. Love the show.
Never fear Alvin is here , Joe , thank you for the video enjoyed it and it made me forget about all the garbage going on in the virus world you are a god sent, Alvin
Haha! Love the fact that you watch Svengoolie! Been watching since the seventies. Quite a character. Anyone that passionate about old horror and thriller flicks, no matter how corny, is aces in my book! Property is looking great, Brother! Keep up the good work. Be careful out there, stay safe and healthy. God bless.
Going to be living vicariously through your videos this summer when it comes to gardening. Because of Covid-19 I won't be able to get home to Saskatchewan this summer. Summer in the arctic is going to be a wonderful experience. I can't wait to see the whales in the bay and go fishing and everything else my local friends have planned for us!
If there is one thing I've learned about you Joe, is that if it's a job worth doing well, it's worth doing right. And though not everything comes out perfect, you are willing to keep up on the maintenance of a thing to keep it in working order. Melissa is one lucky woman and I'm sure you think yourself one lucky man to have her as well.
Mr. Joe the dirt where you took up the post, looks like a great place to plant Grapes and Blackberries.I think you have the best channel on TH-cam. Every time I watch you,I want to jump in and help. Thank, you from this old man and be safe.
Joe, when you planted the trees you showed some ferns and I am wondering if they are Ostrich Ferns called “fiddleheads “ in New England and if you have ever tried them. If you don’t know what they are just GOOGLE them. If they are fiddleheads and if you have not tried them I recommend you do.
you are an awesome man to be admired in many ways - it would be a wonderful thing if some of your vids could be shown in schools where children could see the results of honest and true working skills... hub and i admire you greatly, and just want to caution you to take care of your body and not lift to much weight or stress yourself out when you are tired, it will catch up with you, we speak from many years of experience - hugs to both of you...:):)
Hi Joe, working in the construction business and being a contractor has its perks when demoing job sites, a lot of free stuff like all the lumber you've collected for the farmhouse I always say " if it's free it's for me ".
Joe and Melissa, garden's looking like it'll be a good one. Hope it produces well. Was watch some older video's and realized you two were courting in Sorrento while I was living and working for the state of Louisiana there in Baton Rouge. I was watching at the time, but somehow didn't realize you guys were so nearby. Well I'm in Kansas now trying to avoid the bug. Y'all take care and stay safe.
Git "R" Done. Joe you are a working machine. You sure don't let the grass grow under your feet. I would be the same way if I had your property. You guys really have it looking nice. Thanks for the video. Take care.
That Farmall sure has earned it's keep what an awesome transformation to your property...i am looking forward to seeing how you do the hay bale garden...great video as always!...stay safe.
Alrighty.....boys and their toys. Love watching your videos. Also, love Melissa's cooking. Good job, both of you!!!! I love seeing the wide opens spaces you live on.
Great video, sure beats watching Netflix and television crap. Great work on the gardens, I’ve never seen hay bales used that way before and don’t understand the method. Good luck
omg look at how green the lawn is. looks awesome without the snow. i like snow, but it's nice to see spring has finally sprung in your neck of the woods
I have my laptop open with E-class discussion going on then i get this notification, hmmm what to do. Put headphones on my phone and watch Joe work! Just dont tell my dad. Hehe..
That coop is so addorable. I cant wait to see what melissa does with it.... So creative.. YOU GO GIRL. Love your channel folks you two do a awesome job. so relaxing. This man is a worker for sure and puts alot of time thought and does it right the first time. Thank you for sharing you two
Hi Joe I'm John from Pennsylvania I really like your videos. I plant Red Norlands and Yukon Golds also. I also plant Kennebec. Usually about 10 to 12 pounds of each. Keep up the good work.
I need a bigger garden space...I will have to approach the husband and request some tilling be done or more raised beds be built. 🥰 My seedlings are growing fast. Thanks for the video, Joe. Always educational and entertaining.
Since you both like to cook, you should plant a few red currants. They make great jelly. You can also add red raspberries mixed in and it makes a mouth watering topping for cheesecakes and ice cream/dessert toppings. I've eaten red currant jelly since I was a kid and my grandmother made it. I planted potatoes in my 55 gallon drums so I can knock them over and pick them up. Potatoes here for the past few years are the one item that are outrageously priced. $5 for a 3 lb bag or higher. I could eat fried potatoes from the pan with pepper for just about every meal. My 20 yr old nephew stayed the weekend from college and brought a friend. LOL They stayed up all night and day playing those xbox games and were like two 10 yr olds. I cut up fried potatoes with sweet onions, red bell peppers and then scrambled in some sausage, eggs and cheese. His friend said he has never had a breakfast like that before and it made me feel pretty good. It's sad people don't do more home cooking. BUT I've already seen hundreds of people around town till up spaces in their yards to plant food once again because they were afraid not to because of food shortages.
Enjoyed watching, you are teaching us city folks how to move your land to make it productive for your purposes. Interesting how you uncover the intents of past owners and find buried history of others work. Really greening up. Good to see Joni off leash.
All looking good! Would be great to see Melissa get into bees again! We love our raspberries. Good luck with it all. 😉🇨🇦 p.s. jealous of your soil...we have clay = gardening hell!
I continue to enjoy what you are doing at your place, Joe. As I watched you fussing over your potato row I wondered: how many gardens have we watched you plant and tend? It is in the high severals, by my count. So many years of planting potatoes! I really enjoy your channel, especially in spring. Thank you, my dear friend.
I love watching your video's I also like the way you narrate your video a can watch the over and over same one my wife thinks im crazy I know yall by first names lol love the channel from East Orange Nj 07018
Loved the video. Joe, if you could explain in a future video, how you prepare the bales, I've heard it makes the difference between a waste of time and ten foot tomato plants. Thanks for the update.
The last 4 years, I've done a straw bale garden. They've turned out perfect and it was nice not having to get down on my knees. Like raised bed gardening. I put it on a drip system. Afterwards the straw was used for walkway mulch. Have fun with it! I used Milorganite as my high nitrogen fertilizer to break down the straw.
Good morning Joe, lots accomplished on your video and it all looks good around there. Hard work has really paid off for you and Melissa. Good to see everything running loose too. Thanks for sharing with us. Fred.
Great Video! I enjoy seeing the progress you make on all of your projects! I got hooked years ago on your mudbuggin videos. Thank you for so many good videos!
Excellent video Joe . Love watching the day to day work on the farm house property . Nothing is staged . Just a guy doing his thing . I guess you know where to get worms for fishing at the tent . Next is getting the hobby farm garden ready . I'll be looking forward to seeing that when the video comes out . Take care .

I hate when its windy! It makes everything frustrating especially when you are trying to film. I have a pretty light camera so it doesn't take much to blow it over. Lol! The gardens look awesome. Keep up the good work and stay safe!
Getting there Joe. You had a add that ran 50 mins. I let it run like I do all your ads. I think you owe me.....Now put that wind proof mic on. I know you have it. 😂 property is looking awesome guys. Stay healthy
