I have a yale YDD424+ unit and it has made my life a living hell. Sometimes the batteries don't work and sometimes the lock starts to make a motor noise without any reason. The audio which used tell the instructions has also not been heard from for the past year so it's totally useless.
Go to settings and add another member. The member and you should be near the lock in bluetooth range and members phone should be in search mode in application.

Check if you have bluetooth module inserted, without bluetooth module 8# will not work.
