Frontline roulette - half a level a day. You can also que in as the job you want exp for and then switch to the class you are comfortable in once you are inside the instance (i.e. I que as a scholar and switch to my max level machinist once I'm in the duty.)
I have to - do all the roulets, remember to your frontline for mad exp, kids - do my 12 beast tribe quests - do hunt bills for every expansion - Send my retainers on their ventures - Gather my daily treasure map - Go scartch 3 tickets at gold saucer - Grand company turn inns and I have my done my tasks in ffxiv, now I can play the game :-)

You know honestly it was fun to watch a sprout do their rituals in the game, how it differs from the eternal endgame I've been at since shb. Keep makin vids, if you liked stormblood, you're gonna go crazy for shadowbringers. Also as a lifelong tank, do not feel anxious in roulette dungeons. All you're ever expected to do is mitigate (that includes trash packs), w2w (it's common practice basically anything post arr) the trash in between bosses, and don't forget your tank stance. The only judging of tanks I have ever done have been tanks, that post arr, are still single pulling mobs in dungeons, and ypyt tanks. (YPYT - you pull, you tank, if you didn't know) It's an incredibly dumb, baby, ego ridden take to have. You're doing just fine. (Also, if you have a ninja, make sure once you round up trash you keep them in place, them and their doton [their aoe dot] will love you forever)

Nice daily routine video. I found the Main Scenario roulette is super easy. I’m a DPS main, but I’m always confident going in as a tank or healer in main scenario. Good practice for jobs you’re still learning as well.
My daily routine is first get my retainers going again, then go over to the fc house to muck out the stall and feed the chickens (a.k.a. Chocobos), send out the submarines and put not needed stuff on sale, switch out the primed wheels in the aetherial wheel stand and then hop over to my grand company to get my squadron going. I only use them to get me a little pocket gil/mgp and the weekly scrolls. I stopped doing dungeons with them since they are incredibly stupid. I'd rather use the trusts. But I admire your patience with them. When I'm done with all my "ig chores" I set out to continue my several projects like getting everything to lv 100, working on past relic weapons, crafting every recipe there is at least once, fishing every fish and so on. I've been playing since 2.0 and not once have I been bored. There is always sooo much to do.

Tanxiety is something we all deal with to various degrees, but don't let it stop you from enjoying every aspect of this game. I know for me it's the feeling of letting my team down by doing something wrong. Mistakes happen and people won't judge you for making mistakes, especially as a sprout. The only people i have expectations from are Legends and Mentors because they are ment to know the hardest content of this game and teach other people respectively. You've gotten yourself another sub and excited to see your journey in this game.

Msq roulette is super simple, will always be Praetorium, Castrum Meridianum or Porta Decumanum. Really good for poetics and a good chunk of xp. Downside is unskippable cutscenes. Great vid
This is great! I’ve been playing since 2.0 and Tanxiety is still a thing. I had help with friends. My cousin co-tanked a trial with me then goes “I’ll take your lead!” 😂 threw me right into the fire. It has helped, but I still end up hard on myself. Anyhow, good stuff here. I send out my retainers and submersibles soon as I hop on. Sell the goods then run a few roulettes. I like the content! It's easier said than done, but don't worry about tanxiety too much. That little sprout icon above you protects you from 99.99% of negativity, and generally if someone is negative to a sprout, the others will rush to their defense. I would also be interested in seeing your MSQ journey/thoughts on it. It's fun watching people experience the MSQ shenanigans!

Right now I've just finished Shadowbringers. Taking an msq break for now so my typical routine is to switch leveling between my crafters and gatherers and end the night off with as many vault blue mage runs as i can get before I hit the limit. Kind of become a semi passive thing to do while my wife and I watch stuff before bed. I forget about my squadrons and retainers too much to do them every day lol
I was so obsessed with the gold saucer as well since there was also the fallguys event going on when I started playing but now I just kinda forget to go there :‘)
When i first started i didnt know all the ways to get mgp but there was a 50% bonus going on so i just spammed the jumping events for like 3 weeks. Also tankxiety is real. I get it too and i've been playing since May this year maining WAR.
You shouldn’t worry about doing dailies. They all follow the same formula, and most people playing them are experienced enough to help you through the content if you’re struggling. I play tank also, and really struggled with “Tank Anxiety” when I started doing daily content, but as long as you’re activating your mitigation, and you let people know your comfort levels at the start, you’ll be fine 😊
What is one thing I have to do every day on FFXIV? Hunts! They give you a nice portion of exp and seals/nuts that you can exchange for things like aetheryte tickets, mounts etc. I try to do daily roulettes every day but if I miss something then I don't mind. MSQ + Frontline are my priorities because it's easy exp with tomes and pvp currency as a bonus. Oh, and retainers. And Beas... /cough... Allied Society Quests!
as someone who also gets tank-xiety... MSQ roulette tanking is STUPIDLY easy to tank. i can do those in my sleep, and used prae to level up a few of my tanks. and since it's always Castrum, Prae or UW, you'll get the hang of it in no time, even totally new
Gold Saucer claimed my soul for -weeks-... got all the cosmetics I wanted from the shop, a decent collection of cards... which I never play with... and basically haven't been back since xD Otherwise I really... really need to get started with the whole retainer / venture thing... but gods it seems so tedious to get venture coins.
