That hotel is so upscale looking! The price is amazing! Also that ramen looked so good! I live in the Dallas area in Texas, and over the past 10 years we've had a lot of Japanese people move into the area, and thus we've had a lot of ramen shops open up, and even a few Daiso locations. Thank you so much for making this video.

      Hello!
      Thanks for all your comments!
So you get to eat Japanese ramen in Texas! I'm surprised.
      And you have a Daiso!
I wish I lived in Texas too!
But I cannot speak English, so I have to learn.
      ありがとう!

@@easygoingsolotravel お疲れ様! You're doing good! I'm personally trying to learn Japanese, but I have to do it in my spare time between semesters. But yes, Collin County especially has a lot of Asians now, and I think it's great 😃. Toyota moved their American headquarters to Plano back in 2016 thereabouts. Your English is good so far.

I don't speak English so I rely on translation software.
If I could speak English, I would have a world of travel destinations. 、、、、
I'm going to study in earnest.
Do you live in a predominantly Japanese area?
I didn't realise there were areas like that!
I would like to be able to understand at least simple English.

@@easygoingsolotravel sort of!! I live in Allen, Texas, which is a city on the northern edge of the DFW (that stands for Dallas/Fort Worth) Metroplex, and there's more Asians here than there are white people, which is surprising for this part of the country. We have Japanese, Korean, and Chinese grocery stores nearby, lots of choices when it comes to sushi, or hot pot, or bulgogi, or ramen. It's a very nice town. Much quieter than living in Dallas proper but with all the driversity.

I love how empty it is! I’ve been to the original Book and Bed twice in Ikebukuro before it closed down, and every time I left my “bookshelf” located next to the window, I always seemed to interrupt couples taking photos. But other than that I loved the place. Would love to visit this location!

Hello! This hotel is probably more for photography than for reading.
The hotel I stayed at was also not very interested in the books they had on hand. And a lot of the books were old and what I read were comic books

Thanks for watching my video! I'm so happy for you!
It's a strange capsule hotel, isn't it! However, it is not suitable for a long stay because there is no washing machine,...
And there wasn't much variety in books either.

This restaurant is very unusual because it is a different way of eating from other restaurants in Japan.
It is a private room, so it is not a good place to go with friends☺.

Hello! Thanks for commenting on my video!
It was a capsule hotel with an unusual concept--staying in a bookshelf!
No laundry or kitchen, so not for a long stay, but a nice change of pace!
I'm new to TH-cam, so I'm not very good at filming and editing, but I'm glad you're watching!

I stayed at the one in Tokyo in Shinjuku. The color theme is darker but it's also pretty unique. I don't mind their beds but I feel like they may be just a little smaller than a normal capsule.

Hello! Thanks for watching my video!
I see that you stayed at the same hotel in Tokyo.
I thought the same thing, it seems a little smaller than a regular capsule hotel.
I'm glad to see more and more stylish capsules these days!

Only thing I don't like is you cannot sleep in and wake up very late. I would want to lie in bed and read all day, only going out when I feel like it. Other than that it looks like an amazing experience.

what a wonderful place and pretty cheap I would love to stay there ^^ but I'm worndering if they have a place to leave your suitcase like a locker or something like that? also did you chose your breakfast or that is just what they gave to you? I don't eat meat and I would like to know if paying for the included breakfast is worth it ^^

    • @easygoingsolotravel
      @easygoingsolotravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hello! Thanks for your comment!
There are no lockers to keep your suitcases...
You can ask the receptionist to take care of it for you.
As for breakfast, you can choose from several menus.
I was hungry so I chose the biggest one.
There were also sandwiches with only vegetables!
I think the price was about 15 USD for the plan without breakfast.
      Thanks for watching my video!
And I am very happy that you could comment.

Hello!!! Thanks for watching my video!
I don't think the staff at this hotel speaks English.
However, I think it is possible to stay at the hotel and receive services using the translation software on the app.
Please be assured that you will not be charged high price because you are a tourist in Japan!
