I cant say he would have, Kieth Whitley was a rare bread of talent who many country legends like Garth Brooks, Vince Gill started writing Go rest high on that mountain because of K. Whitleys death and finished it when his brother passed... But with all i just said I am in complete agreement with your statement. Only thing i cant say is he can write a song like K. Whitley but time will tell
