For the AP1 driveshaft bolts, I use a 1/4" extra long handle ratchet and a stubby 6mm hex socket(matco). Gearwrench makes a nice one. It fits perfectly into the AP1 hex bolts and removes them easily.
I love this channel. Always a better night when you upload.. especially videos like this where you're documenting customer vehicles getting brought back to life. Keep up the great work. I promise if I ever win the lottery and buy an S2000 you're the shop I'd bring it to. Peace from Minnesota ✌
I’m not an automotive tech, however I am a heavy equipment tech for a major engine manufacturer. When we see engines ran with out an air filter you can shave your beard with the piston rings and use the cylinders as a mirror. Love the channel and your work ethic.
Thanks for the kind words. We see damaged from non filter operation and try to help educate why a filter is important. But so many think it’s restricted with a filter.
@@LHTPerformance Likely OEM given your preference for factory parts in almost all scenarios. I think I can even see a factory filter during the dyno session at the end of the video.
Hey John, heard you talking about your official repair manual for honda. Is that available to the public as well?.would certainly be very helpful. Thanks.
Just took my S out and it was shaking like crazy... never felt this before ... shifter was all over the place. I thought it was a trans mount or possibly loose prop shaft bolts? 🤦♂️
Can you guys do a NA build? Maybe a well-sorted K24 with 8200 rpm red line with 280hp? Maybe an ITB option? I think there'd be plenty of demand for a reliable and proven swap motor made special just to suit the S2000.
@@LHTPerformance I think a K24 with cams/internals optimized for an 8200 red line are the key. It would have to marketed and engineered as keeping in the spirit of S2000, but with a generation newer engine architecture. Maybe you can spin the factory Kseries to 8200 reliably? Considering how much F22Cs go for in the aftermarket, and how cheap K motors are, it could be a good proposition for high mileage S2000s that become worthy of reinvestment as the cars appreciate.
Great video as usual but wondering what's the thinking with the background music? I'm finding it very distracting whilst you're talking and explaining what you're doing - might just be me though!? Keep up the great work from the Peak District in the UK!
@@LHTPerformance I thought that might be it and you deserve way more views/subs for the effort your put in! The background music is actually an improvement (IMHO) but just a little loud whilst you're talking. Otherwise it works really well!
@@LHTPerformance Hi John, just my two cents worth, but with headphones on it's very distracting, especially the bass. Thanks for all the great content!
We’re 6-7 hours from you. Next week we have a customer coming from Texas for a days worth of work. We treat our customers as friends and their cars as our own. We’ll be sure to make you happy. 👍🏻
Your the only shop I would trust to send my s2k for work .

You guys are so nice to watch. I love your professionalism. Never change. Bravo guys.
The black spots on the flange is burnished metal, if you look at it really closely you see metal that has been folded over the surface.
Beautiful install guys! Really looking forward to getting my work done! Keep healthy and kicking out great S2K mods!
Thanks my friend. More content to come.
Sorry to see that the customer did not opt for the LHT Performance Underhood Tri-Package (Battery Hold-Down / V-Tech Solenoid Cover / Clutch Brace).
Awesome videos. I'll be ringing you guys sometime this year.
4:00 oh dang I see a lot of green crusties on that ground cable!
If i had an s2k, i would road trip from norcal to FL just for some LHT TLC.
Yikes man. This car went through some rough ownership
Damn, im new to the channel, im immpressed with your work, really good jobs congratz
Thanks buddy. Stick and watch more videos and let us know what you think.
Another great video!
I just got one of those OEM Honda books for my 99 Honda Civic
You guys are the best!!! Live the music while your chatting!!! I can’t wait to bring my car down to you guys
STP oil filter at 10:14? Hopefully it got an OEM one later.
Based on out videos, what do you think it got ?

Another great video! You need some SOS SC install videos!
We have some coming up buddy
That's what I'm waiting for. I think that's what I've decided to get I just need some more info on it from the experts.

Wondering what that coolant leak was

We might do one. I drove my friend Jeff’s K24 EP3 we built ( in the playlist under ‘George’s Mugen Civic Si) and was super impressed with the torque.

Trying something different. These videos are getting such low growth it’s worth a shot right. If something doesn’t work you try something else

I'm considering coming down from WV 12 hours for a supercharger at some point. I wish I was 7 hours away...lol.
@@wvjon75 wouldnt be awesome to have a LHT Performance S2K Meet and have all the builds finished within a week lol
Who was driving on the dyno...
Lht, when you all install the kraftwerks, do you have to cut at the steering rack? Is there a way to do that without cutting the steering rack?
You have the grind down the forward facing tab to allow clearance for the 30mm kits.
Hey guys!
I wouldn’t jack it there either 🤦♂️
Ouchy after ouchy .
That battery tie Down is so crusty!!!!
We were out of stock when we filmed this. Since then we gave the customer an LHT Battery tie free of charge. 👍🏻
Irresponsible S2000 owners make me sad. I’m actually glad the price on those is so high right now. Keeping the naive car enthusiasts away.
