Big fan of what’s happening with GIJoe and the Transformers-Scarlet is #1 this week for me too-
There were some Scarlett preview pages in one of the other Energon books. They gave me hope. She was like sneaking into a fancy dinner in a dress trying to spy some info about the weapons trade
I’m grabbing Ultimates for sure need to check that out. Is Get Fury coming out this week? If so that’s my most anticipated.

Man I’ve said it before but seeing how many more pulls Batman gets over Spiderman is still crazy to me. From what I understand they’re both “meh” stories but I just think Batman has a stronger hold on his followers than Spiderman does. Really puts the most popular superhero question to rest
The art on Batman is amazing.
The art on Spider-Man is also some of the absolute worst on the racks. As a reader of the Chip Zdarsky run since the start, it's been a solid 7/8 out of 10 the whole time. Also for the new event from DC, you will feel lost if you don't know who Failsafe is.

Never heard of the writer for the new "Ultimates". Hope she can weave a good tale, and that the art is good on the book. Can't wait for Wells to leave "ASM" so we can have another chance at a decent writer for Petey. I'm convinced "Batman" could have stick figure art and be written by a grade schooler, and it'd still be number 1 for its release week.

A few things: Mike, you’re awesome as akways. Commenters, you too. I feel like as Scarlett is a sleeper pick. I’m surprised one of you thought Kelly Thompson is more miss than hit because I can’t think of one thing I’ve read of hers I didn’t love. What don’t you like? Also, Birds of Prey is incredible, Mike! How have you not read this?! The first arc, minus a really weird artist choice in one issue, was awesome and this second arc is really fun too. Go back and read #1! One more thing, the Trial of Lando is actually really good. Takes place between Empire and Return of the Jedi and I think it’s very well written. Ok, that’s it!

Surprised Ultimates isnt higher with the success of ultimate spiderman. I bought a variant and should be here on Thursday to read. Hopefully this universe takes off.
Those are massive numbers and not everyone buying is on comic book geeks. So curious what the actual number is at the publishers
I guess a lot of readers don't use league of comic geeks because Scarlett had news articles about being sold out on bleeding cool so it should have way higher numbers
True that is why I always make it a thing to tell everyone this is only one site.
Definitely grabbing X-men 700 and some back issues tomorrow.

Most anticipating The Ultimates. No way a $10.00 X-Men book will outsell The Ultimates. Would like to know how the Krakoan era ends, but not paying $10.00. Dropped Shazam but have been enjoying Birds of Prey. Thanks for putting this out.
Glad your enjoying Birds of Prey. Unfortunately I did drop this book a while ago I just couldn't get into it.
For $9.99; give me 100 pages of comics. Will skip or wait for collected trade, unless the main story is over 1/2 the book.
I loved the first arc of BOP, but it’s been all over the place the past couple issues. Sticking with it, but not optimistic. Poison Ivy has been pretty good since at least #19, but I wish some characters would just stay evil. Not everyone needs to be an antihero. Very skeptical of post-Krakoan X-Men. We shall see!
