Many thanks to you Thomas for commenting and watching. It's quite the place and we are glad to have been able to show it off to you! Thank you again! x
So very impressive,, thank you for the incredible walkthrough and the drone flight was the cream on the cake,, we've been to denbigh back in 96, was cool then but now its just more impressive some how maybe the weathering on the stone or just the way youve shown it to us,, wow,,
Hi Alessa and Brett, This castle will not stand without your film. Gorgeous footage, of course, including Brett's aerial footage and Alessa's research are always delightful to watch and listen to. Every single brick, full complete shape or broken one tells me story I have never known. Thank you so much for educating me. I am speechless...The castle on the little hill surrounded by houses in suburb, I reckon. The history lives on this land..... I thank you very much for sharing precious moment. Happy father's Day.
Hello from Naples, Florida. Very nice! We enjoyed the tour of the castle ruins. Thanks for sharing the amazing views and narration with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
So many great castles in Wales and despite the ruins it was still very impressive and in its day it must have been magnificent. Plenty of history and a haunting is always a sure fire way of firing the imagination, cheers Alan
Such a majestic castle built over a castle...how interesting...the views are just spectacular! I love the fact of the men doing the cooking I'm pretty done with that job now 🤣 Alessa your narrative is brilliant...love those drone views pure mastery! Another superior video! Thank you for another lovely Sunday!💚💙💜
Glad you enjoyed it Donna - you're always so complimentary!! Its so encouraging for us to continue! So thank you. Haha, yes agreed, the men can continue in the kitchen, we will put our feet up haha!! Thank you so much again for all the kind comments and for watching! xx Happy Sunday!
A wonderful, exceptional film of the landscape's castle and ruins, very good and amazing to watch and walk around! I always look forward to the delivery. And also nice information about the castle Thank you, my dear friends!😍 L67
Hello Alessa 👋. That’s a gorgeous Castle 🏰❤️. Still stunning and beautiful 😍. What makes more impressive the stunning views. 14:38 this is really a breathtaking and always giving us a beautiful 😍 end part. Thank you and have a wonderful day 👍.
Thank you so much 🤗 Kenn, you're awesome, glad you enjoyed it. The views from the air here really do help paint the picture. Thank you again for all your support! xx
Hello Alessa and Brett, sorry we were late out for Fathers Day, really enjoyed all the narration and footage. The Castle ruins were in excellent condition. The views were amazing. Bretts drone footage was brilliant as usual. Take care and have a great week, take care x Julie and Tony x
Thank you very much Dave & Kathy - please never apologise, we are so grateful for your friendship and support and always enjoy a good natter when you are around! Wishing you and Kathy and Mom a great week ahead!
Hi Alessa & Brett! What an impressive fortress! Those walls are so thick! Oh my, building an English castle over the site of a previous Welsh castle is really adding insult to injury. The views were beautiful. It was fascinating to see down into the kitchen tower and to see the expanse of the castle within the outer walls. Thank you for a very interesting and enjoyable video ❤❤
This maybe named little fortress but its beauty and fabulous history is grandiose! Loved the filming and emphasis on Brett’s all time favourite part of these castle visits that are ‘The steps up’ 🤣 but you would not get those fabulous views if you didn’t climb them! Another beaut here guys, fabulously narrated and the piloting showing not only the beauty of these remains but the gorgeous Welsh surroundings, the rolling valleys and distant mountains below those dramatic skies! Another fabulous episode guys ❤️
Wowee Nick and Jill you two are far too lovely. Thank you so much for the kind comments and support! Haha, the evil steps, I'm normally following him up there but jeeze, horrible steps! haha!! It's true though, worth it at the top! Thank you again for commenting and watching. Wishing you a wonderful week and hope you're enjoying your holibobs! xx
Catch up time!! This castle isn't too far from us. We really enjoyed our visit here - Denbigh is a bit hilly though!! This brought back memories of our visit. You provided many more facts though! The views are amazing from there. Cheers 🍻
A great tour again guys. 3 towers. Is that unusual ? Edward certainly liked his castkes. Love the view down from the second floor. You can see the strategic site of it. Big cellar. Gotta keep all those nice things fresh. Especially the ale. Good idea to have the right angle turn in the way up through the lower gate. Smart planning. Fabulous views from the top. And a good spot for the ghosts to gather. Great tour guys great info and awesome visuals. 👏🏻👏🏻
Hiya Mr Watto!! So 3 Towers isn't unusual, but in a gatehouse design it is. Normally you would just have two at the front, whereas this one was a powerhouse to keep people out and purely defensive able. But, like you said, Edward enjoyed his castles alot! But they are so fun to walk around. Thank you so very much for watching, commenting and being amazing. Really appreciate you and hope you're doing okay xx
This was excellent alessa and brett. Thank you for an outstanding tour of the castle. Loving the town in the backdrop too! So very impressive. Need a visit here I think!!
A great video, very informative, well narrated, well-edited, and superb videography, and choice of Music, showcasing this very impressive Castle. The commanding views of Denbighshire, and the Triple-towered gatehouse is so breathtaking. and I could imagine what it's like before with your narration, and story telling. It's neat to know where the name green chamber comes from, and the floor plan or path designed to confuse enemy forces. thank you so much for taking us along with you. we truly enjoyed the tour.
Lived in Denbigh most of my life and played around the castle as a kid. I must have climbed almost all walls of the ruined castle with my mates during my younger years. And I must say, I have been to the castle on many nights and never encountered any hauntings at all. Don't know anyone who has tbh. Brilliant place to visit though
That's totally fair enough! What amazing ruins to have fun in, what really shocked me is the size of the castle itself, from the outside it doesn't look as impressive as inside that's for sure! Will be returning for another wander and walk around the walls! Thanks so much for commenting!
Great video, shame you did not visit town walls, views are amazing and walls in excellent condition with towers as well. Also worth mentioning is fundaments of dove cote on the castle yard and gardens bit on the opposite side of the main gate :)
Thank you so much for commenting, we had such a great visit here. We unfortunately didn't have time to walk the town walls as you can get a key from the CADW office, but that's for another visit for definite. Really appreciate your time and comments :D
So gorgeous, mind you..so is North Wales! The sallyport? We saw it but didn't have the time to explore properly! Next time we come back up we will walk the walls too!
Blimey... Hmm lets go with around 150 castles to date - but seriously that's nothing to what's out there!! Its so fun to do! Thank you so much Scootlady! You're awesome! xx
Like 61 👍 💯 ❤
Many thanks for another fabulous tour my friend, really enjoyed watching this one.
Sending my best from Shanghai....

Very impressive castle ruin, so much to see. I love, that they made it possible to walk on the wall and get a good view over the area and castle ruin.
