Take out tickets from good line hits or mini jackpots and start over. So good to have a few extra $20 bills, so you can start over. Not sure if everyone would like to do that but works for me. Some times will get a good line hit not long after next $20 in, still take it all out and start over, then have even more. Like I say not sure others would like this system but I always have take home money. Add all up then can tell if won, lost, or broke even.

I went to Choctaw this past weekend. I had a $400 budget for Saturday. I only used $250 of that budget and was able to play from 2 pm to 1 am. At the end of the night I cashed out a ticket for $425. I could gone home with more money but I was having a good time. I've never been on that type of winning streak before. I was even able to level up to the next reward tier and that was a first for me.
I found myself in the casino forgetting why I’m trying to win in the first place, not until I’m home and broke I remember I have bills and wants but in the casino I was chasing big jackpots and not keeping and enjoying the small and medium sized wins, so now I “gamble smart” have my limits play after all bills have been paid and don’t chase “hand pays”. I would be a winner if I used a pocket locker. Leave when you win even if it’s small!

To the guy who said you can't double your money, I live close to a casino that has a "free" burger deal where you play $10 worth through a machine. I put that into a $0.25 bingo slot and by the end of the $10 hit a $100 hit, changed to a $1 machine and got another $50. Hi Guys, When it comes to doubling your money, we all know it can be a grind. That being said, I like to use the method of starting with $20. Each time you go above that $20, you pull your money and start again. I've done this with a $100 session limit and often end up between $100-$200. This can be a real bonus when staying at a property for 2+ days.
Good approach with the $20 in and leave with ANY profit. This actually works long term but requires a lot of discipline and patience. It also can be very boring for the impatient player or casual casino visitor. You can adjust that system as needed based on budget, style of machine and your overall goals for that particular visit. The “double or nothing” is not a proven strategy and we’ll never work consistently in the short or long term. Sure, you can double your money occasionally, that doesn’t mean it “works”.

Good point about hosts being able to get show tickets and diner reservations. I'm a low-roller, but restaurants like Hell's Kitchen Las Vegas typically require making reservations three months in advance.
I recently got a pocket bank, and at least came home with about half of my bankroll, putting the few wins I did get in the bank last time I went to the casino. I am glad I got the bank and planning to go back in a few days to try again and have some fun. We usually only go to the casino once a month with about 4-500 bank roll, and use the free room and food comps. Our go to has been Choctaw Grant.

Speaking to game types around the 20:00 mark. In the state of Washington, they use video lottery machines. Meaning every win, including bonuses are determined the moment you initiate the spin. Funny enough, I played a game called "Devil Lock" at one casino and got a really nice bonus with multiple re-triggers. A few months later, I played at a different casino in Washington and I triggered the exact same RNG pull for the exact same bonus, same number of spins, and exact same prize to the penny. The idea is to save you from yourself and greed taking over. :) The lock boxes lock with a key (that you leave at home), but have a small slit in the side for you to fold and place bills in.

They actually are "programmed" to do the near hits, but it's still random. I know it's hard to believe - The gist is, whenever the random number has decided that the reel should show a "blank", they can then change this "blank" to show something else (but still resulting in a loss). The important factor here is that they can only do this AFTER the RNG has made it's selection and the result would have been a loss.
Hosts aren't the only ones who can be irritating. The last time we visited our go-to casino security put a parking violation on my windshield shortly after we arrived. They said I was blocking an access way, and if it happened again my vehicle would be towed away at my expense. I drive a long-box pickup so it projected into the aisle and they didn't like that. If that weren't bad enough, my truck didn't move for 2 days, so I found the notice when we were leaving. I know it was anal, but would you complain?

I won two jackpots in a high limit room. When the slot is ready to hit, it doesn't matter it's location.

comped stays are where it's at. The way I look at it a comped room equals an extra $200 a day to gamble with that I didn't have to spend on my room.

I have one of those cash boxes, and they really help. But, they can't help you if you bring credit cards or ATM cards to the casino.
