    Thank You Adine! How very different little Khanyisa is today! I'm sure many of us remember the state Sunshine was in back in January. You never left her side and she trusted you immediately! Your camera footage is wonderful! I dont care about it being "professional" It's genuine and it's a pleasure to watch!! So looking forward to tomorrow's installment! Thank you Adine, Reply, Tiger and Herman! And of course Khanyisa, Lammie The Legend and The Herd! 👍🏼😁❤🐘❤🐑❤🙎🏼‍♀️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️

    I was just thinking how amazing and rare it is that we get to see Adine walk amongst these huge, majestic elephants, and that they were being so gentle and careful not to harm her when our little Khanyisa just comes barging through, headbutting poor Adine from behind. Admittedly, I went back to watch the expression on poor Adine's face at 09:19 more than once. 😅
    Thanks for shooting this on your phone, Adine, and giving us such a privileged insight into the herd. We are truly very lucky to be experiencing these moments with you. 💕🐘

      @JRRnotTolkien I don't know how they sleep. having to battle the conscious between good and that evil, between life and death. Their mind can't possibly be at piece knowing what they do., These magnificent elephants, as in all living biengs deserve to walk step by step, side by our side through this journey called life. The void the elephant would leave if they vanished off the earth would be devastating. Look at the elephant and you will see you and I. Thanks to the women and the men who care for them.

What brought you to a place where you wanted to open an orphanage? How did you do it? Did you have any obstacles, blessings and miracles along the way? • @herdelephantorphanage
      @herdelephantorphanage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yes - Tokwe, the matriarch is Timisa's mother. She is also adoptive mother to orphan Kumbura and her own two, limpopo and Pisa. So it is with that that Adine decided that Lundi who is Tokwe's greatest support, should take on adoptive mother role of Khanyisa. She accepted the opportunity! But she has great help from Bubi, and Kumbura mostly.

    Excellant information. I feel I am part of something very special being able to watch thiis. Working from home and somewhat cut off from the world during this time, people need hope and this is definitely fulfills a void like that. Always been an advocate for the rights of animals and speaking for them, but doing something that brings them true quality life is everything. Please keep documenting. Thank you.

    The video footage is excellent for a phone. I have not noticed on any other videos on different channels how detailed the elephants skin is and the fine hairs on the trunk.

    Frm front view elephant face nd ears 2gether make butful 💓 shape . How can someone be so heartless to kill or hurt this beautiful animal. God has already so thoughtful when he make this animal . Such a giant but herbivores think if they eat other organisms. It would feel like living with dinasour . It takes almost 2yrs to giv birth to its calf. This also to maintain balance bcuz they eat lot if their birth period is short which can cause big food nd space shortage. . But god never thought we humans bcom biggest threat. I just admire luv these ppl who r doing so much to nature 4 all of us.

    You are doing some real fine work over there Adine, along with your carer's and the cooperation of the Jubalani herd!! It is upsetting to learn that their are so many orphaned elephants! I had thought that the authorities in Africa had a better handle on the treatment and preservation of their elephants. I am very disappointed to find that this is not true. It takes a brave heart to clean such terrible wounds and a mighty vigilence to do it several times a day. I'm not sure how you fed Khanyisa during those days but i can see that you have found a way. Thank God for all of you that are working hard to care for wildlife and their babies on your little part of this big earth!! 🌎🕊💗
