Yes, darken the place a little. These mountains remind me of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado. No matter what time of the day, even high noon, there is always shadows. Love the way you colored the mountains. 💜🌿
I enjoy watching your chill n chat videos. I hope that they are on the easier side of the editing chore list! I believe that the mountains are looking just right! One of the best things about coloring an image that is already made is not having to create or draw something before starting to work! My wife got me several books after my stroke in 2015 I even took some and enlarged them so it was easier for me to stay within the lines. I am torn on the tent color, in some cases (military) you want your tent to blend in with the surroundings, Camping, Climbing, Rescuers all need bright colors like yellow, reds and that ghastly green they paint fire trucks because even color blind people can see it! I know that you will choose the best for you! Please stay safe and be well.
Thanks for the visit Gem 💖 I rarely leave tge farm as well, except for medical appointments. TH-cam is my way of connecting with the rest of the world 🌎 thank you for everything! Stay safe and stay safe ;) 💖
I like the idea of the tent being red too...a wee patch of non-natural colour is nice in that landscape picture, so I think you're right there. Thanks for the bonus video!
So pleased to hear the makeup brush replaces using dog’s ears to brush away extra graphite etc. Passing dog owners were getting tired of me borrowing their pooches. 😂😂
Huzza for a bonus chatorial! The mountain looks great. Yeah that little are does stick out a bit and may need just a weeeeee bit of darkening! just a touch though. Could make the tent multi color? Each panel a different contrasting colors. Might be interesting. Or 2 colors like heraldry!
There's ahildren's ready meal (maybe at M&S? I don't remember) called "cheese, peas & brocolli trees" which pasta with the afornamed additions - I get a great urge to buy it every time I see it (I really like brocolli too)
I keep thinking, I don't even remember noticing the tent, it's pretty big to completely forget....That is one reason I am thinking about yellow. I like blue so I would not want it to be more memorable than the river though.... Also say Hi to your postman for us(me)?
I wish I had this book already...but when I do I think my tent might be bright yellow. It's supposed to be an eye catching color, and I am not very fond of red. Maybe I would do it last.... The trees really do look a lot like broccoli. :)
The swan on the other side is also very pretty. Would love to colour it :) I think this picture will turn out sooo beautifully! I LOVE the sky, btw. Just magical. I actually got myself Enchanted Forest and Ivy and the Inky Butterfly by Johanna Basford, but I'm scared to start colouring a page in them, by the mentioned fear of it not turning out the way I imagined it xD
I know what you mean about farming, my brother has been lambing since spring and is now gearing up for the harvest in sunny Dorset near the coast. His days are soo long! I don't know how farmers do it x
I think you are either built for it or you're not, farming is definitely not for everyone. I can think of worse places to farm than Dorset, it's a lovely spot. Give him a sympathetic hug from me the next time you see him.
@@TheColourCave will do, we have a big family get together when harvest is done and the farm slows. I'm so lucky where we live close to the jurassic coast so much inspiration for arting,
With my physical disabilities sadly border Collies are not something that I can take care of properly anymore I had one when I was a teenager. However my incredible American Eskimos are amazing they require a lot of mental stimulation because they are service animals but they will physically exercise themselves if there is more than one of them and they have space to move around. My 11-year-old wrestles and plays with the four year old and generally kicks his butt LOL. Sadly my big one lost his eyesight this year when he's mate passed away. He and Fluffers would keep each other busy. Now he doesn't play anymore but he does still prance around the house and chase me everywhere gently. It's just a little bit more of a challenge now that he can't see very much. But for somebody who can't move around a whole lot American Eskimos are amazing because although they do need physical exercise it's more about the mental stimulation and physical affection.

😂 Mental pictures of you hooking unsuspecting dogs into your house by the collar!
@@TheColourCave I have dog treats...... The owners get a bit miffed though. 😉
Yay! Thank you for the extra video, and a chatorial at that! Enjoying how this is coming along and wishing you all luck on the harvest season.
I am loving this. I'm learning quite a bit from this session. Thank you for sharing.
Good morning! Just fed the cats and made a cup of coffee. Will watch before getting ready for work. 😊 Happy Anniversary to you and Mr. Gem!
Thank you so much for doing this video. Really enjoying watching it coming to life. I thought red for the tent as well.

The cows do be mooin
I realised in editing there was one particularly loud moo 😂

Just go for it, you never know unless you try!
@@TheColourCave that is so true 😅 next time I feel like colouring I'll pick it up and go for it
Please do, and if you need any input just give me a holler ☺️
@@TheColourCave thank you so much! I'll make sure to tag you on my Instagram when I share my work 😊

Funny, after harvest we just go out and get drunk! 😂
