It's been a while but I finally finished this animatic!!

Caleb gets knocked out, wakes up, casts fireball and blows up the enemy ship, and immediately goes back down from the flashback. Glass cannon indeed
The quintessential wizard. Wields the power of battle ending artillery but crumbles like wet paper when bonked on the head a little too hard.
This fight was ICONIC, and you captured the action so well! From Caleb casting Wall of Fire to Fjord summoning the balgura, I got nostalgic chills!
I can't waitm to see this scene animated in the series! GONNA BE LIT!!!
I know that if the Monkey Paw is listening, lol. This scene setup really shows the action. You should be highlighted if/when they use it for ideas. Great work.
The flaming boots for Caleb's expeditious retreat were a great touch

It’s all great, but I love seeing the creative flairs for each spell cast
Fucking excellent audio layering. The selected audio was choice, and the decision to layer what was being said was a perfect way of keeping combat moving quickly and showing how things were happening simultaneously. This must have been a massive undertaking. Cool shit.

The little blush on Beau when Jester put her hand on her waist was a cute touch.
I forget how fucking smart the team was during this fight like they handled the scenario so intelligently and it makes me weirdly emotional cause the team dynamic is PHENOMENAL

This was excellent. Holy shit.I remember this whole sequence from a whiiiile ago and youve managed to supercut the timelessness of a 6-second turn into the confusion of real time battle confusion flawlessly. BRAVO!!
the audio editing on this is FANTASTIC, it really adds to the effect of "this is all happening simultaneously"
fantastic! I love the various ways you visualized the spells, and I also love how you intercut the dialogue! makes the scene much more frenetic :D
This is probably one of my favourite moments in CR, and I love that you were able to condense it into an 8 minute video, and give us visuals. Also going through and cutting up all the audio as well.
dude this is PHENOMENAL. i love the way you spliced together the descriptions of what they're doing, it rly adds an extra layer to this. and the spells, the movements, everything is so fluid! you've earned my sub!
This has so many good touches with stuff like seeing Calibs skinned face before he mentioned it and the great animation for nott slipping out of the guards arms. It was way more fluid than I expected as a whole.
This is amazing! Absoloutely love how Evantica's coragrophy was when she got into the sword fight with Nott, since I think the hardest part of selling martial characters in role play is to try and viusalize those kinds of cool swings and stabs! The Balgura summoning scene? Super solid and even the psudoanimation of it landing? Good shit! Also, this is an 8 minute animatic! You should be proud of this since shit man, this was a lot of work and it is great!

The extra combat frames were so good, I liked the variable action when needed! Good sign of knowing what to animate and split your time into. Some wicked art frames with that fireball too and the expressions!

I like to listen to critical role episodes whenever I'm working on stuff I don't need to be fully focused on, but this one episode made me watch the whole way through. This animatic is insane, even better than I imagined the battle to be. It's one of those times in DnD when, somehow, everything works perfectly and everyone has their opportunity to be cool in their own way. I can only wish I once have the opportunity to play a scene half as fun as this one

That was crazy amount of work! All the sounds and action, all is packed so close, so densely. Massive 1.5 hour fight translated into perfect animated action scene!

Holy SCHNITZEL the amount of WORK that went into this. Its amazing to see another instant classic from you. Too many things to list. The quality in each frame, the amount of frames, the length, each character design, the way you portray moves being taken, the fluid cinematography you make from minis on a map and narration, the fucking EDITING to omfg. You crammed 3 hours of combat into a crisp (but still very long) 8 minute fight scene that felt like 30 seconds with how fast it wizzed by, it really captured the heart pumping action. God its so much. Love the way you spliced and blended narration and descriptions into the animation itself, so CRAZY. Your work is incredible, thanks for this treat
